First off let me say that my wife and I normally love going to Perry’s. But on this particular night a lot of things went wrong .We got seated late ,the waiter we had was not friendly as previous waiters. He didn’t give and kind of greeting . the other waiters around gave their table greetings gave their input about drinks and what to order and things they liked,ours did none of that we had to wait 30 minutes for drinks that I believe he forgot to put in because he didn’t write it down. Also I asked for medium rare steak I got a medium well done steak and didn’t feel like sending it back because it already done a while to get it the first time . Don’t know what happened this is usually is a good place to go.

Went day after Valentines Day to avoid crowd. Was like a cattle call. It was loud, they sat my wife and I at a card table with a white cloth in it. Took 2 hours to get in and out. Our order was wrong. I am not a complainer but virtually ruined the evening. I mean was a really unpleasant evening. I would have been happier at Lubys for a sixth of the price. So crowded another person brought us the bill. We will never go back.

Even with a reservation , it took us about an our to sit at our table. Then even with a limited menu our food took about 2 hours to be served. We were promised a manger to come by to speak with us, that never happened. We spent over 3 hours at this place, we had other plans that had to be cancelled due to them.

I hated my entire experience. I booked a 9:15 reservation for v day and didn’t get seated to an hr later. What’s the points of a reservation. The only thing about my food was good was the fried asparagus. Everything else was completely horrible. My wife was suppose to get creamy mashed potatoes but restaurant ran out. Gave an substitute that was horrible. I would never recommend anyone to come here. It was not worth 200. The only thing that was good about ny experience was my waiter

Made reservations and still had to wait 45 minutes for a table! Took almost an hour just to get bread and water on the table. Was there 3 hours and never got food. Had to take dinner to go. Very dissatisfied and shocked with Perry’s Steakhouse.

Valentine's day. Appointment at 9 checked in at 9. Waited 40 mins to be seated. Approximately 60 people also waiting. Manager gives us a coupon for their pork chop on a Sunday. Eh. Food took longer than expected. Lobster bisque was eh. Steak was good. Trio dessert, eh. Shrimp cocktail was good.
Maybe they were having a bad night. Poor planning on their part. Not a good experience.

My husband and I typically celebrate Valentine's Day at home. Last night we were reminded why. We were seated about an hour after arriving, despite having a reservation. By the time our names were called to be seated, we were frustrated and sleepy, yet still hopeful. We were sat at a very cold table in a back corner that was next to a window after passing several open tables. We didn't want to be "complainers", so we just went with it. Our calamari appetizer was pretty good, but that was the highlight of the meal. My husband asked for hot tea, and received a cup of hot water that was only 1/3 full. Funny thing is, when the waiter came by to check on us later, he looked at the cup and said "let me get you a refill ". My husband pointed out to him that it was served at that amount. The waiter then relied "oh, we had run out of hot water". My husband's Cesar salad was soggy and snapper had no snap. He says it tasted very old, and only managed to take a couple of bites of it. I ordered the Perry filet. It started off fine, but due to where we were seated, it quickly got cold and dry. For Perry's to be such an established restaurant, they seemed ill prepared and equipt last night. We left feeling ripped off after shelling out more than $200.

We frequently done at Perry’s but this was the absolute worst experience. We had 8:15 reservations for four on Valentines Day. You drove up to unorganized valet service and entered the check-in area that was shoulder-to-shoulder guests. Its expected to be busy but maybe they should require reservations only on nights like this.
Our friends arrived at 745 and checked us in. We arrived at 810 and followed up with the hostess. We were both told they’d find us in the bar, however no one entered the bar. We inquired about 15 minutes past our reservation, making note of various open tables (one sat open for 30 minutes). When we asked how they find us (calling name/texting), the hostess told my husband that one you check in your phone number goes away. They trued saying they went to var and called but no one cane around the bar at all—at this point we were watching. My husband went up again to see our name highlighted at the top while they sat people below us. The hostess couldn’t find out name and after this song and dance going on, the manager finally walked up to try and fix the problem. The solution was to seat us in some extra banquet area upstairs. This was even worse. We were originally to be seated in the bar and now had to hime up the stairs—I gave a disability and that was difficult. Once seated, there were only 2 place settings and it was incredibly hot. We requested bread and it took 45 minutes to bring COLD bread. The waitstaff was friendly and worked hard climbing stairs all night. My soup and my sides were left out on 2 trips and for a $500 meal— we expected better. We won’t return!

My Experience at Perry’s was Horrible. Rude Valet Driver. Had to wait 45 minutes for a table even with a reservation. Table service was Slow. And Food was highly over priced. I would give this place 0 stars if it was possible.

We came with a group of 6 for Valentine’s Day and while we definitely understand it’s a busy night, the service time and quality was pretty low for how expensive the meal was. I love Perry’s but will not come back on another major holiday. It seemed like they bit off more than they could chew. People were crowded in the entry way looking upset, and we have been here 3 hours and are still waiting on our bill. Could have easily been in and hour in an hour. Great food but service was disappointing.

Valentine’s Day was crazy at this location - no surprise there. Could improve on the quality of the food and management of people. I understand it is the busiest day of the year for them but $60 a plate is a higher price than normal and it felt like the food quality was sub-par when compared to normal days. Overall the food was ok, but will probably go somewhere else for this occasion next time.

Valentines dinner with reservations at 7:00. Arrived right at 7:00 at had to wait over 35 minutes to be seated in a cramped lobby with others that had arrived on time 8n the same predicament. Even though the hostesses were friendly, it was a chaotic situation. It definitely put a damper on a $200.00 plus evening!

What a racket! We showed up a couple minutes early for our 7:00pm reservation on Valentine's Day and walked in to a entry room with at least 20-25 people already sitting there waiting. After drinking a beer and still seeing no end to the mass of people in the waiting room, we finally left at about 7:20pm. We drove down the street to Goode Co. Seafood and got right in with no waiting! Perry's sure knows how to try to ruin what is supposed to be a romantic night by being greedy and cramming in more people than they can possibly serve!

I would not recommend this place for special events. Valentine’s Day was poorly managed and overwrought. Service was very poor and the meal took way too long. We had a reservation and still weren’t seated for 40 mins after arriving. That being said, the food was great and I could imagine it being a good place on a normal night.

We visited for Valentine’s Day. The valet attendant did not open my door, rather stood next to it and stared at me.

We had a 6:30 reservation and didn’t wait long for our table. They tried to seat us in a very tight table next to other guests, but allowed us to move to one of the three open tables further away.
The drinks and food took a long time to get delivered, but that’s to be expected on a busy holiday. My soup was very cold, so the waiter said he’d heat it in the microwave for me.
They did not clean the bread crumbs from the table in between courses, the food was just okay, delivered the wrong entree ( risotto versus a filet) and they nearly dropped a huge tray of dishes on us (landed just to the side of us). When we left the entrance was PACKED) with people who all said they had reservations.

We will not be back.

I’m quite surprised at how poor the food was this past Valentine’s Day. The servers and atmosphere were fine as usual, but to my surprise, the food was almost inedible. First, my partner’s steak was served to her cold. That is not a hyperbole. The steak was in fact, cold. To make amends, the steak was reheated and served to her well done. She asked for medium-well initially. I ordered Perry’s famous pork chop expecting the same great quality as always. However, my pork chop was warm, and tasted as if it had been prepared hours if not a day, in advance. I certainly do not mind paying $150 for my partner and I to enjoy Perry’s on it’s best day, for Valentine’s Day this was a remarkable letdown. Soured the entire night.

Arrived at valet at 5:38pm for 5:30pm reservation. Delays by valets resulted in us checking in with hostess at 5:46pm, 1 minute past grace period. She cancelled our reservation and turned us away on Valentines Day. Very bad service and experience.

We do lunch here often. I know Valentines Day is a busy one, but our pork chops were way over cooked. Neither of us could recall every visiting and our Pork Chops were over cooked. I’ve literally been here for lunch 3 times in the past month and a half. Countless times before that. Also, our food made it to the table before the bread. The asparagus came at the same time as the food and barely had any butter on it. I had to ask the guy who brought the food for more and he brought back unmelted butter. Definitely an interesting lunch. Might need to take a break from here for a while.

Took two of my closest friends here for theirs BDays and just to catch up..! RSVP for a quiet table in the back left section. It was a good spot to carry a conversation & not missing out the scenery and ambience. Miles was awesome, friendly, funny and very knowledgeable of the menu and the wine list. They need to cc Miles’s services. My buddies had a great time and enjoyable experience! Request for Miles if you are there!

We had lunch at 1:30 pm so that working people would have cleared out of the restaurant leaving it more quiet for us. Perfect time to go as it was more quiet and less busy! The service was wonderful and the food fabulous!!
