My first time going to Perry's and we loved it me and my husband go to Ruth Chris but Perry's will be are go to from now on.
Amazing service, wine, and the pork chop was out of this world. The server made the night!!
Heard so much about the Pork Chops has to try them. No disappointment there. Beef guy by choice but this was in my top 5 meals ever. LambChops looked equally incredible. Salad and sides complimented the entree but once the “Chops” arrived it was a meat feast. Service was attentive and wine recommended was spot on.
We were in on a Sunday night so conversation level was probably lower than normal but loved the laid back ambiance.
Definitely added to the dine out rotation.
Perry's always satisfies. Really the food was fantastic right down to the last bite of Bananas Foster. My only complaint would be that the waiter would disappear for very long periods of time. Granted we were a party of seven, for my daughters birthday and he had at least one other large party next to us but he wasn't there either. Still I'm not going to complain to loud. It was still a great meal at a very nice restaurant.
Was our 1st time and the food is amazing! Best double cut bacon I've had in my life! Our waitress was awesome and have is some good recommendations and she surprised me with a really good choice of Cabernet.
2nd Time at Perry’s. From Ottawa Canada for the MotoGP weekend. Always book a night at Perry’s for a fantastic meal.

Came here to celebrate my one-year anniversary with my boyfriend and Perry's did NOT disappoint! The ambiance, the food, the waiter - all were perfect and they really try to take care of you from the moment you enter. They even decorated our table with a few flower petals and it was a pretty nice touch, along with the dim lighting and music that definitely set the mood.
Food was AMAZING. We had the ribeye steak and it was extremely juicy and tender. For sides, we had the roasted cream corn, Perry's signature fried asparagus topped with crab, and the truffle steak fries. Roasted cream corn was alright - it was overloaded with bell peppers and other seasonings (simple would have been better imo). The fried asparagus was very good - a little too salty from the crust, but soft and sweeter once you hit the asparagus. My personal favorite were the steak fries - their truffle dipping sauce was to die for. Our waiter also gave us a free dessert on the house and we chose the Dessert Trio that came with cheesecake, creme brulee, and the chocolate crunch. Creme brulee was the best and the others were good as well, but not super outstanding. Thanks for a great first time Perry's! We will definitely be back again.
My boyfriend and I had gone there first on Easter Sunday for brunch. We took my two daughters then and everything was sooooo fabulous we decided to return last Friday for a romantic dinner. Firstly it was soooo noisy we could barely hear ourselves talk, secondly we were crammed into a tiny table surrounded by loud, people who were obviously not keeping their conversations to themselves. We were seeking great food and a wonderful romantic evening. We did find great food but sadly we will never return on a Friday or Saturday night for fine dinning as it was definitely overbooked. Our waiter, although pleasant, definitely appeared overwhelmed and our service was nothing like the first time we were there. The food and cocktails were fabulous but, I’m not sure if we will ever return for another romantic dinner.
One word...Amazing! The food was spectacular and the service was great. Love this place.
We could not hear the person next to us talking. The pork chops were delicious and a great value as always, but it took forever to get them, our food didn’t come out together and the waiter seemed quite pre-occupied with something else...always.
I have been going to Perry’s for awhile now and this experience was the worst. The food was terrible and the portion/quality was not like it use to be. The table we sat at too was right by the kitchen exit so tons of traffic and distractions. Service was below par and the not polite. I look forward to my Friday Perry lunches and today was a complete let down.
Food took a little longer than normal and no steak knives were provided until we asked for them. Also even with reservations we had to wait 12 extra mins.
Once inside, the service and food are amazing, but the valet situation is terrible every time I visit. We arrive around 11:15 each month on a Friday. The cars stack up and there are rarely enough attendants to move the cars so it backs up the traffic and the attendant tells me to circle the block. I do and it’s the same when I come back around. People honk and get angry. This happens every Friday, so I imagine I’m not the first to mention it. They just don’t fix it.
As I said, the food, service and atmosphere are great once inside. My advice is just don’t drive there. Uber or walk.
The bar had a sw
As always, we looking be the vibe and ambience of this Perry’s. Our only issue this visit was that as the server was opening the wine and starting to pour, he actually spillled it on the table and in my lap. No problem really, other then he offered us a dessert instead of replacing the bottle of wine. This was strange in that it was not a cheap bottle of wine. However the food was great and our server was attentive without being intrusive.
Great spot for anniversary dinner. Would recommend and go back.
The menu contained a variety of dishes across the board. Started with Beef & Bleu and Calamari. Both were excellent, but the Beef & Bleu was the surprise hit if the meal. Don't pass that up. Wedge salads with Bleu cheese and ranch dressing followed. Entree was center cut 10oz Waegu ribeyes cooked medium rare. These were like butter! Incredible flavor. Also ordered a special lobster macaroni and cheese. Excellent aswrll. Finished with Mont Blanc dessert even though they had Bananas Foster, a personal favorite. No meal is a success without great service. Our meal orchestrator, Jordan, kept the meal on pace and was pleasant and cheetful. She definitely made the dinner a success. Five incredible stars!
I have been to the Perry's in Dallas a couple of times and decided to try Perry's in Austin, and it lived up to its Perry's name. Great service and great Steak! My 13 yr old tried the banana foster and said it was the best dessert has ever had...or it could of been how it was made right by our table...either way I'm glad we went.
Perry’s was awesome! Have never seen a Porkchop so large in my entire life! My girlfriend ordered it it was delicious she said the appetizers were wonderful the service was fabulous. Hubby and I and other friend hubby ordered steaks that were cooked to perfectionI would go back in a heartbeat a little expensive but worth it for a special occasion
Avoid the bar area for dining. It is loud and the service is mediocre. Our Pork chops were unevenly cooked. Our waitress forgot to place our order for our side dish. We had to ask for our bread. We would have ordered a bottle of wine, but we hardly ever saw our waitress. Worst experience at this restaurant and we normally stop by at least once a month. It may be awhile before we return.
Food was great and they got us right in when we showed up 20 minutes early.
First time at Perry's and it was great. Food was amazing.
Our waitress Maria was amazing! There was a large party upstairs which was pretty loud. But, the food was amazing! Definitely a “must go”!
The service that we received from Alejandro was amazing, he was very knowledgeable and friendly. Great server and wonderful Restaurant. The vest in the city.
I arranged a client dinner at the restaurant. Our waiter was pushy from the start throughout the entire meal. No understanding of customer service and overall poor service and negative demeanor. Even my clients attending noticed the horrible service by the waiter. I would not go back and especially not host a a client dinner at this restaurant. Food was average. Many other better restaurants in Austin at this price point for business meals.
Food was great but he service was outstanding. Our waiter, George did an incredible job of providing world class service and making sure that we didn't have to ask for anything.
We will definitely be back.
In Austin for our birthdays we loved our dinner and first time experience at Perry’s
Excellent food and service!! The menu is very well constructed, with smaller dishes that allow you to order and taste a wider variety of plates. The sommelier was quite helpful and recommended wine based on merit, not trying to push a pricier bottle. We loved it and absolutely recommend this place!!
Everything was great, my only complaint is that our server would take really long when we asked for something, she wouldn’t forget but she would take at least 15 minutes, when your sitting down waiting that seems like forever but it was also Saturday so it was busy. Overall it was a good time , the lamb was amazing and server was really nice.
Outstanding food but very noisy. Intimate dining is a stretch.
Perfection as always! Oysters and Champagne to start, seafood tower, lobster bisque soup and mushroom cauliflower "risotto were all delicious. Dessert trio to finish it off was the perfect size for two to share for a few bites of each. David was attentive but not hovering and always with a smile!
My husband and I love Perry's. We've been in a bunch of times and this weekend we had a friend visiting from New Jersey. We decided to take her to one of our favorite restaurants in Austin and we are so glad we did. She loved everything she ate and we had plenty of leftovers for the rest of the weekend. Our go to items on the menu are the Chopped Salad, Beef and Blue, Pork Chop, and Brussel Sprouts. And we absolutely love their wine selection. Everything was outstanding and we all thoroughly enjoyed our time! Our server was amazing and very attentive. Would highly recommend Perry's to anyone. We'll be back soon!
The Pork Chop Friday lunch is spectacular. The food is amazing but the service could use some improvement. They are very busy but they don't check on you or refill your drinks as frequently as needed.
Friday porkchops are the best thing ever. Go get one now. Also the restaurant and other food is good but get the chop and thank me later.
Great atmosphere, food and service. Will definitely return.
Great night out with a friend. The food and service were outstanding and they accommodated our last minute request to add an additional person to our party.
Great restaurant. Quite stunning interior. Solid service. Pricey. But worth it for a special occasion or business meeting.
Good food, great service! We went out for the Easter Holiday.
Perry’s is top notch- from signature cocktails and the wine list, to the appetizers to the “best of the best” cuts of meat! Don’t want to forget to mention their desserts- the bananas flambé is to die for. It’s a must visit in Austin.
My filet was extremely tough and hard to chew. They were out of mashed potatoes and no one every came to check on us after we got our meal or brought us steak knives. Cutting a tough steak was very difficult with a butter knife.
