I get the pork chop every time and it is awesome.
Soup to nuts it is hands down one of my favorite places in the country!
Wonderful experience, excellent cuisine.
The food was wonderful, especially the fried asparagus. The steaks were cooked and seasoned perfectly. We'll definitely be back.
Everything is always good at Perry's love it just never understood why if the server asks if we have been there before and if you say yes then nothing gets explained like how to cut the pork chop I have to say never cause I want them to explain to all the new people I bring there for the first time I have been there plenty of times and place is fantastic everything is good would recommend to everyone.. Thank you Perry's Steakhouse I we will see y all again...
Went for a Friday lunch birthday occasion. Dropped over $140 on the meal. Food was very good but service left a lot to be desired. For that kind of money, I expect a higher level of service.
Can't go wrong with their Friday pork chop special for $15, feeds 2 if you're on a budget.
Amazing food as always and great service today.
This is my first time to Perry’s in Austin. I visited in Dallas and knew I wanted to try this one too. We were lucky enough to be available to go on Friday. Trust me. You want to go for Friday lunch. They have the most wonderful pork chop I’ve ever had in my life. And it’s only 14 on Friday’s. It’s amazing in size and taste. Yum yum. We got there at 11 and the place was pretty empty but by the end of our meal it was packed. The food was stupendous. We add a half order of their fried asparagus which was scrumptious. The bread was fresh and wonderful. The service was some of the best I’ve had in Austin. Only down side was that they took us to second floor. Really they should have asked us if we could do the stairs. We had one with us that has difficulty with stairs but she felt uncomfortable speaking up. Minor issue but unexpected. Anyway yummy and wonderful. Be prepared for $8 valet.
Overall great experience as always.
Went here for our anniversary dinner. Everything from the food to the atmosphere was outstanding! We will be back one day!!
Over the top.
Great food and service.
Misty, the event coordinator is excellent.
If you want to impress you can't find a better place. Great place
Our meal was great. We had the hand carved pork chop and the southwestern filet and lobster tail. The appetizers were a bit small. But the portion size of the entrees were good sized. The flavor was great and everything was cooked correctly.
We sat at the bar and our bartender was terrific. Our waiter was ok. The experience would have been better with a better server. That was my only negative for the restaurant.
Worth the price. Good surroundings and leaves a great impression.
I went there for my birthday. My waitress was very attentive and knowledgeable on the wine selection. The fried asparagus was a little too greasy for my taste. The salmon was cooked perfectly. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Met there for lunch with some good friends, we had a great lunch. You can't go wrong with the pork chop special!
Amazing value! The pork chop is legit! Had a wonderful lunch with my coworkers. Definitely recommend.
Family from England visiting
Friday lunch pork special
But you should have reservations
I've been to Perry's many times when my office was a block away, but my office moved so I hadn't been in over a year. It seems as though they are so busy now that the quality of the food has declined sufficiently. They no longer carve the pork chops for you tableside. But most importantly the pork chop was super dry and definitely not as flavorful! The mashed potatoes were almost refrigerator cold and the Brussel sprouts were just ok. I took two friends from work who had never been there before and they thought it was ok - one had the pork chops also and the other had the burger.
Overall, the ambience made up for the food. The restaurant is still very nice. Our server was super nice and friendly but they were so busy that the service was slow. I'll probably go back again but it definitely won't be for the pork chop.
Wait staff and service was on point. Plus they surprised us with a free desert for the birthday girl.
Sat at the bar and had a couple of cocktails and an early dinner. Cocktails made to perfection and delicious steak dinner cooked exactly how I like it. The bartenders, Michael and Fatima were very friendly. Learned a lot about Austin and enjoyed our conversation about visits to Southern California.
What you'd expect from a high end steakhouse. Prices are on the luxury side and you get a high quality good product. Service is excellent.
Evening dinner with my wife, love the food, the service and the restaurant itself. Good opportunity to catch up with ourselves
Very slow to get us seated even with a reservation as it was a very busy night. Generally that was outweighed by the high quality otherwise. Worth noting they recognized the inconvenience and brought us some sparkling wine, hence leaving the total experience at 5*
If you are looking for a nice evening, this place is great as long as you get seated in the bar section where it's super cramped and you can't hear anyone in your party. For a meal this expensive, they should not be seating people in a busy bar area.
Tables too close together
Steak not cooked properly
They brought my entree then did not bring the others for a long time.
No request to refill drinks
Could not talk to much noise , too close to each other. Only four people at our table
Waiter disappeared with credit card for a long time
Said the card system was down.
All in all one of my worse experiences with Perry’s
We have been long term fans of Perry’s but will have to figure to go to.
Our server, Keegan, was amazing. We were expecting a great experience from the recommendations we had received from friends but the wine she helped us pair with the meal and her recommendations on appetizers and desserts was more than we could have asked for. Thank you Perry's for making our special night even more notable.
Absolutely awesome. Food was a 10. Service was a 10 and atmosphere was a 10
Waitress became very rude and judgmental once I ordered the vegetarian meal - even had the audacity to say it wasn’t normal to order vegetarian at a steak house. I eat meat but wasn’t in the mood for something heavy - my husband and I were out to see some live music at a jazz club around the corner, but figured we’d first try Perry’s since it was close by. Instead, we were treated like we didn’t have the money to eat there and didn’t deserve to be there. We even overheard the waitstaff talking about another table of young women who had just left saying that they didn’t deserve to eat there. I would have rather we saved money and cooked our own meal at home before going out to see music. We have been to almost every steakhouse in town but we won’t come back to this one.
The pork chop was one of the finest meals that I have had in a long time. My wife's filet was perfect, too.
Excellent as usual!
Pork Chop special on Friday's @ Perry's Steakhouse & Grill.
Delicious steak and seafood mushrooms ! Server was the best and the music by Nick Connelly was exceptional, will be back!
Our experience at Perry's was superb! From the excellent, delicious food to the wonderful, attentive service. We were celebrating our 37th anniversary, when we arrived at our table, it had rose petals scattered on it. A very nice touch. We will definitely return and highly recommend Perry's. If you've never tried the pork chop, it's an absolute must!
A great spot for good food and wine. I always make a point to eat here when in town. The pork chop is fantastic and great dish to split with someone - the portion is large!!
We ate at Perry's for a business meal and I have to say the night was a disaster - which is unusual as some of us have eaten at other Perry's before and always had a great experience. Our salad courses were perfectly fine but our main meals much took longer than normal to arrive and when they did, two (of 8) meals didn't arrive until about 5-7 minutes after the rest. Their meals were cold and 2 of the others meals we not as warm as they should have been and one of the sides was missed. The rest were fine. The staff apologized intently of course and they took care of those meals but needless to say it put a damper on the evening - and my boss who bore the worst of it. Perry's is a good value, has great energy and the staff was very attentive...hopefully this was just an off night.
Enjoyed the service, although my order wasn't cooked the way I ordered it. Other than that the atmosphere and live music were great.
The food was delicious as usual. The best salad dressing anywhere. The filet and fish are always delicious as is the bananas foster. Our waiter Will was excellent.
Steak was overdone (ordered med) Cesar salad too heavy on dressing
