Perry's Steakhouse & Grille - Cinco Ranch/Katy Ratings and Reviews
My mom and I have gone to the Perry’s at Cinco Ranch quite a few times, over the span of about five years now. We’ve never had a bad experience. Our favorite waiter, Austin, continually ensures that we have a good experience, regardless if he’s our waiter that night or not. The staff is amazing; the managers are amazing; the food is amazing; the atmosphere is amazing! It’s a great experience every time we go, and it never gets old. Without hesitation, I highly recommend this Perry’s (and others — the Memorial City Perry’s is great, too) to anyone who enjoys fine dining.
We booked on open table as we always do and requested a booth and to have 2 bottles of our favorite wine chilled. Was told on arrival that no booths available but we insisted and got one. We did notice that 3 booths remained empty for at least 90 mins after we arrived !! Our wine was not ready or chilled. Miles our server was excellent. Very attentive and very nice. Food was tasty as usual. Music was good.
What a great experience! The “PR Girls” met for A Friday lunch, at the Katy location, in which we were able to sample a variety of Perry’s notable dishes and drinks for a fraction of dinner cost. The lunch portions were significant and most of us had leftovers enough for that nights dinner +. Yes. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat! Will be going back!
This was on Valentine’s Day and the Reataurant was very busy. This diminished the quality of the service. My steak was also a bit tough this is not the normal standard of the restaurant so not meaning to give it a lower rating than I have in the past or expect to give in the future I come here about once a month and enjoy eating here.
Outstanding job by Ashton in servicing our table. Valentines Day and fixed menu. We had fillet and ribeye. Both were outstanding as was the calamari appetizer and lobster bisque.
The assistant manager stopped by twice to see how things were going. Had an enjoyable evening.
We ordered our filets as one done medium well with little spices and the second medium with NO spices (specifically said no salt, pepper, or garlic butter). The first one came out rare, basically cooked 1\4 " from the edge with a clod bloody center, and the second was the same with salt, pepper and garlic butter. We have recently been twice before and had the same issue. We will NOT be returning for a third try, not at the prices the charge.
we had not been to Perrys in a few years. We always ordered the chateau b an for two which was off menu. We ordered the same from the menu but it did not mention for two. The waiter, however asked if we were splitting it. We answered yes since we thought it was prepared as before. When it arrived at the table there was 4 small pieces of meat and 4 asparagus spears. We went home hungry and very disappointed. I would have thought the waiter would have made sure we knew that the serving was for one. We had to ask the manager to get the waiter so my husband could order a second glass of wine. We will not be returning to Perry's. Service and portions and food definitely have declined at the Cinco Ranch location.
Our dinner experience was wonderful. The atmosphere was low light coziness ... it was easy to carry on a quiet conversation at our table. The music from the bar was not too loud, but was enjoyable. The wine wall display was like a work of art. The staff was super attentive. Our waiter, Louis was wonderful.
We arrived for a lunch celebrating our co-worker's retirement. The food was absolutely fantastic. One of our diners is Gluten Free and the choices and attention to this were superb.
Our waiter, Austin, paid attention to every detail. We all vowed to come again to dine at Perry's. Highly recommend.
This was our second dinner at Perry’s and still had same reactions. Noise level was bothersome, we can hear conversations of every table around us. Seems like lighting makes you feel your table under spot light. Was a special occasion (40th wedding anniversary) and was asked twice by staff so thought they might acknowledge it... nope. Food excellent but gets expensive quickly.
Nice restaurant. Good food. Overall, I think waitstaff in the Katy area are not as good as those in other areas of Houston. Maybe it's because there are fewer restaurants to choose from in Katy? They aren't as friendly, cheerful or attentive... can't be picky in the burbs.
As usual the food was very good. However the only issue we had was the safety of when they were making Bananas Foster’s for another table which was too close to us and they had no room to move and I had to ask him to move because the fire could actually burn one of us from the fire. safety should be first and they should look at that when they are producing this great dessert
We unfortunately had an awful experience. Our waiter was horrible, took 45 minutes to get our appetizer, and our waiter was never around. We noticed other tables had their waiter around nonstop, but we could never find ours. After waiting 45 minutes for our oysters, we ordered our main courses, again it was a long wait, then the entrees came out cold. They took them back to warm them up, but then it was just over cooked seafood and steak. This was too bad, the atmosphere is very nice, but at the price point there, you shouldn’t have food or service issues.
