Perry's Steakhouse & Grille - Baybrook
Book your next event with us
Yes, I would recommend but with the caveat it is very expensive. Food was delicious. Service was fine although we did note the waiter treated the bus service personnel poorly. This detracted from our overall experience.
I would have liked a little more crab on top of my steak and less ice in my cocktails. Otherwise, an excellent dining experience.
One of our drinks was not mixed correctly and we sent it back after one sip. Our waiter was very gracious about the situation and we had no hassle. Additionally, we were celebrating an anniversary and the restaurant provided a free dessert to commemorate our day. The salads and our steak lunches were excellent. Definitely recommend Perry's at Baybrook!
Third time in a row that your servers don’t know what they are delivering and to who. Gave all 3 of us the wrong steaks. Now I know why you ask people to cut into it. It’s because your servers aren’t told or don’t remember medium then medium rare and rare. Get it together. No steakhouse anywhere else in the country asks the customer to cut into a steak. You ruin the moisture but if you can’t keep the ordered temp right then guess I need to find another place. Had 6 people a week ago and 5 got the wrong steaks. At least the chicken parmigiana went to the right one. The only bright spot was Luyissa’s excellent service.
NY Strip was a little too salty
Nice.... Luigi and billy at the bar are the best
Went for a date night and couldn’t have been more impressed for a first time there. Great all around and by far best steak ever eaten out!
Server was not focused on our table. We completed two starters and did not have cocktails reordered nor have our wine brought out. Once wine was served we refilled our own glasses since the server was rarely seen.
We mentioned that it was my wife’s birthday. Nothing special was done for her birthday.
Service was slow. Tables were tight together. Servers had trouble serving food or picking up finished dishes since the servers could not walk between tables.
What I had hoped to be a special nice lunch for my employees, turned out to be issue after issue. First, ones water glass and tea glass had lipstick on it from prior use; second, a plastic object from displaying the mashed potatoes was in the mashed potatoes; third our vegan employee selected one of the two option and it was served with cheese (which was NOT in description of the menu); and lastly ones dish was to be a well done burger and it was delivered medium rare. Too many issues for one visit of a party of 10. Manager came to talk to us, wasn't very friendly or compassionate. Our server on the other hand was excellent. Not her fault for others mistakes.
I took my wife here for our 43rd wedding anniversary and the place was so old we could hardly carry on a conversation. The
Mushrooms we ordered were flavorless. The waitress did remove it from our bill so that was kind.
The remainder of the meal was just ok- not spectacular for the price
Always a good experience.
We had a great time celebrating mom’s 50th! :-)
We have loved Perry’s for 20 years. Loved their old location and the new one however, had a very bad experience last night. Really hoping a fluke and not a turn in the wrong direction.
- when we walked in there were 6 hostesses at the hostess station. None smiled or welcomed us in a professional way. Just “name, ok we will seat you shortly”
- when seated our table was pushed up against another table so tight that even my 8 year old son could not fit in the chair. There was plenty of space on other side of the table My family picked up and moved the table while multiple waiters and hostesses just watched us none offering to help.
- Took 50 min to get cocktails and we asked 2x and eventually talked to the manager. We were told the drinks and appetizers would be taken off the bill though at end of a long unpleasant dinner only the drinks were removed. If you can not accommodate large parties well you should not take the reservation.
- we asked for bread 3 times. Eventually after our dinners were served I asked the bus boy to please bring some bread to the table.
The quality of the food was still very good.
Honestly this evening was a total waste of time and money. Really hoping something was very wrong that night. Hate to see a great restaurant going down.
First time at this location and we were sadly disappointed. Despite having reservations we still waited 30 minutes.
Our server was either having a bad day or new. We had to wait for everything, including giving her our order and our water carafe was taken so I had nothing to drink until she came back to refill it, No one else asked. It was loud and took away from the ambiance. Steak was just ok. I’ve had better. I had really wanted a good steak which Is why we chose there.
My filet mignon was med rare which was correct but was barely warm with a hard crust on the outside..... and kinda tuff for a fillet. Definitely did not melt in your mouth .
Baked potatoe had been cooked hours prior was warm at best and definitely Not flaky. This was my first visit to Perry’S and I would say it was marginal . Too over priced for quality you received. If it’s my choice I won’t be back .
They don’t how to open oysters!!! This is not the first time
Wonderful service and food! Haven’t been to this location yet and was delighted
Everything was great. The food, service was first class
Just a casual Friday night out, great food & service & everyone looked like they were having a good time!
I love this place. I have been here many time but this maybe my last time. It was my husband birthday and everything was going so well until I asked the waitress repeatedly for bottled water and lemon over 3 times. My husband must have noticed my frustration because he asked when will you bring her water she replied at $8 a bottle. I didn't think you wanted it. If we couldn't afford it we wouldn't have been there. Then to keep talking about the price loudly an talking about why she wouldn't buy it was horrifying and embarrassing. Needs more customers service training when dealing with their consumers. Very Tacky an tasteless. Couldn't even enjoy my food but didn't want to disturb my husband birthday with a seen. Class less
This was a birthday celebration which I put in my comments when I made the reservation. The server did mention that we had a birthday and asked who it was. Two of us had the red snapper and it was s bit salty. The guys had the pork chop and wedge salad and loved both. We remembered receiving a complimentary dessert for the birthday person. When my husband was paying he asked about it and the server brought it to go. That’s not quite the same as making it a big deal after the meal-was disappointed at. We were never asked if we would like more bread. Server was very nice but the experience was not as “first class’ as in the past. It’s our special occasion place, but some of the “special” was missing.
Great food and excellent service. Seated by the bar noise was a little over bearing.
Great place had my anniversary their and they placed out rose pedals on the table which was a nice touch
First time at Perry’s and it was great! Our waiter was awesome. I would definitely return AGAIN!!!
Excellent experience food , service and atmosphere was amazing!!
Excellent service and food! Don't feel that you should have to pay for parking though, it should be complimentary when you're spending $200.00 on a single meal!!!
Everything was Great but the children's movies you could hear.
Again, the atmosphere, service, and food was awesome. The price was also reasonable. Keep up the great service.
Does not get any better. Anniversary dinner was one to remember we will definitely be back.
The atmosphere is awesome, food is great, and service is exceptional!
The food and service was outstanding as always! Thanks for helping us enjoy Restaurant Week!
Houston Restaurant Week is about the only time we go....because of the prices!!!
We had a reservation at 7pm but didn’t get seated until almost 7:30pm. Hostess didn’t seem to care too much about the delay. Service was just ok. We were asked to box up our own leftovers at the table versus our server handling this for us in the kitchen area. Other tables around us were not having to box their own food. We continually had to ask for drink refills. Very disappointed as we were there in celebration of our friend’s 50th birthday. I will say however that our server did bring out a birthday dessert.
Went for Houston Restaurant Week so got added value to the usual excellent value during every day dining. Also celebrated a birthday so seating location and table appearance was special. Service was the best, as always.
We had table of 4. Food and service was very good
This is the first time I have every been disappointed at a Perry's location. My steak was very overcooked. They did bring a replacement steak that was cooked as ordered, but by then everyone else was finished eating. Glad it wasn't a special occasion dinner.
I would highly recommend their Woodlands or Memorial locations.
We had a great experience! First time there went years ago to the one in Clear Lake. Jack was very on point never let our drinks get low. Piano music was awesome made me want to dance that whole evening. Selection of music was all good. I’m
I think I’m completely in LOVE with Perry’s! The food was phenomenal. The service was awesome...two things sucked about Perry’s...the fact that I got full before I got to my entree eating this amazing Caesar salad...and the parking stinks on Friday nights. But I’d park 15 miles away just to walk into Perry’s. Yummm...I tried the chicken Oscar. It was delicious!!!
Outstanding food and service was excellent!
