Jean-Georges’ son, Cedric Vongerichten, helms the kitchen, creating dishes that reflect his own keen instinct for balancing flavor and texture with an exquisite blend of French, American, and Asian influences and ingredients. The menu is inspired by the season, centering on the local market at Union Square.

We had heard about this place from a friend, and as we try out different places we decided to get here to Perry St.
It is our anniversary and we hoped to eat somewhere quite
Fantastic Valentine’s Day !
Not the bl
The food was amazing. All of our appetizers, entrees and dessert were delicious. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful!
Location, ambiance, food, drink are all good for the soul.
Perry Street still delivers great food(can’t not get the calamari with fried chicken).
The chicken is sooo far from KFC it should have a different name like: AMBROSIA
OF THE GODS. Service as always pleasant and on the ball. My number one favorite
Restaurant. Thanks guys.
Amazing service and food. My fav restaurant
We were 25 min late, horrible traffic - usual NYC situation - and they refused to seat us! The dining room had only 3 tables occupied - plenty of tables free, even though we made it clear we will make it snapy and going to leave before the planned next seating (1,5 -2 hours since our reservation). They would not seat us! Very frustrating.
Delicious food and wonderful ambience. Highly recommend for special occasions
Amazing place with great food. Highly recommended the fried chicken!
Our favorite restaurant in NYC. Perfect food, service, and ambiance. And great cocktails!!!
RW week Lunch. Few seated. Doesn’t look popular at all. Portion is on the small side. Bread cold and not fresh. Soup very salty. (Presentation but taste just okay ish). I’ve never had roast duck that’s raw and bleeding. Didn’t bother to ask chef. Paid additional $8 for Choc molten cake. Cake wasn’t as good as expected (chocolate was too light). They actually charged me $3 for hot water (I dined at Michelin restaurants frequently and never ever been charged for hot water. And the service did not mention it at ordering). So overall not going back.
Creative approach to food, good service, interesting though not obvious location and great, spare decor. Have been going there off and on for several years and always want to go back.
The restaurant week menu was spend. I highly recommend the molten chocolate cake with salted caramel ice cream for dessert.
First time to Perry St for my friend birthday.
The reservation was notification for celebrating birthday, but no specially for birthday.
Spoon was not provided with arrival of soup. Roasted duck was cooked so rare, Black bass & pecan wild rice were over-salted. Desserts were my favorite part of the meal.
No one asked to offer coffee or tea with dessert. May be too busy during Restaurant Week and that was the way to rush customers out.
The food taste awesome, I came for restaurant week to try the food. The portion for restaurant week menus was less compare to the regular menu, which I feel that shouldn’t happen. I went to other places for restaurants for restaurant week and they had great and satisfied portion, which makes me wants to go back. The waiter for my table had no simile at all and not much patience either, everyone else beside the female waiter had great attitude.
Did the restaurant week menu. Food was good. Fish portions were a little small and thin - likely because of restaurant week. Nice ambiance and good sunset views on the Hudson
The food is wonderful, but the staff didn't seem as professional as we expected. They got our bill wrong three times in a row... each time it was much higher than it should have been. We started to wonder if it was intentional. The staff seemed quite young.
Beautiful, serene setting with well executed, delicious food.
Everything was first rate. For such a busy and bustling place we never felt rushed or crowded and it was not noisy. The food was delicious. The service was terrific.High class with out the attitude. Perfect for a date or special occasion.
Went for restaurant week. Good value.
I very rarely give a 5 however this place has it all. A wonderful atmosphere, wonderful food presentation and taste ,excellent service all at a very reasonable cost.
We had an incredible lunch on the coldest day of the year in the sun-drenched dining room. Exquisite service matched the delicious dishes we enjoyed. Such a treat!
Poor service than we expected. Not very welcome maybe because we are restaurant week customers. But food was amazing!!!!!
Man that was the bomb, can’t explain how grateful I/we are that Henry (our server) guided us off the NYC Restaurant Week menu! The a la carte menu is exceptional and the way it was provided to us, each dish split into two, was a gracious step by the kitchen. Thanks again, will make another memory soon here.
Dishes as beautiful as paintings, are reluctant to start! Eat dish colour collocation quietly elegant and pure and fresh, and matting is very environmental protection. Especially the toilets are clean and tidy!
The service was not up to the usual perfect level.. We are pretty steady customers and have been since the opening and live in the neighborhood. Perry St. is very special to us and will continue to be. !
It was my wedding anniversary and the host seated us right by the front door even though there were tables for 2 available around the back were it was warm. Our food came out immediately after we ordered and it seemed they just wanted to rush us out. Too bad. We didn’t even order dessert for our 29 th wedding anniversary. Our waitress was amazing but the rush and horrible table was unacceptable. Our reservation was 6:30pm and we left at 8 pm.
Perry St. has been our favorite brunch place for years. Consistently excellent food, service and ambiance.
We had two appetizers ,pear salad and tuna in cracker crust that were wonderful! Our entrees, slow cooked salmon and beef tenderloin were both excellent!Service was attentive and professional!Noise level made it possible to have a normal conversation!
Beautiful setting and amazing food. Even though the restaurant was located right next to the West side highway, the noise from the car were not heard in the restaurant at all. We were treated to white glove level service without having to dress up in suit & tux. The service was slower than what I am accustom to, but it was spot on when food/drinks arrived. The fellow patrons were all having a good time without being too outlandish loud. Amazing experience and would highly recommend others to try.
Please note that there is no restaurant week on Saturday, but there is a on going winter menu that includes dessert.
First time at Perry St and was a restaurant I have been wanting to try for some time. Decided to go last night during restaurant week. Relaxed vibe with dim lighting that sets the mood. The hostess and our waiter were very pleasant. Our waited took very good care of us but not over the top. My girl friend and I were seated right away at our reservation time and was lucky enough to get a perfect table away from the crowd. Food selection was perfect. We got tuna tartare and wedge salad to start. Sea bass and Duck for entrees. Everything seasoned and tasted amazing. For dessert we shared and molten cake with salted camel ice cream and apple pie a la mode. Yum yum yum. Perfect for date night!!! We will be coming back to eat from their full menu. Did I mention Sarah Jessica Parker was there too! 😉
We went during Restaurant week, during lunch. We found about half the items we ordered to be great and the other half to be just good. We expected more from a highly rated restaurant. It was still a good meal and it would be really nice in good weather, since they are on West End Avenue with a view of the river.
Love this place but this time the food was not exceptional
I guess we are used to such greatness that it is hard to keep up
Love the atmosphere and the setting
Been to Perry St multiple times, and it's always great. The food is innovative and tastes amazing, and the service is nice. During lunch, the interior is really nice with the light coming in from the large windows.
Check took forever to get.
Long wait between first and second courses
Perry St was better than I could even have imagined. The food was amazing--as well as the service and the ambiance.
