Jean-Georges’ son, Cedric Vongerichten, helms the kitchen, creating dishes that reflect his own keen instinct for balancing flavor and texture with an exquisite blend of French, American, and Asian influences and ingredients. The menu is inspired by the season, centering on the local market at Union Square.

Impeccable service. Delicious dishes
Incredible food. Calm and classy atmosphere but not stuffy at all. Loved it.
This is our third or fourth visit and we we are still excited, pleased and already looking forward to our next visit. We’ve only eaten well during our 10 day visit to NYC this summer and consider this the best of the best.
Elegant but not pretentious, offering stunningly good food. Deserves at least one Michelin *. Food and carefully chosen wine list are reasonably priced for New York.
One of the very best restaurants in NYC. We are frequent visitors and we were never disappointed. It starts with the high quality ingredients, going thru the creativity of Cedric (son of Jean Georges, who consistently demonstrates great talent) all the way to excellent service by the friendly and accommodating team. Excellent experience and we will continue to come back.
We had a flawless dining experience here. The cocktails were very creative where you could taste how fresh the juiced ingredients were. Food was amazing. Inventive, delicate and beautifully presented. We had the homemade burrata, calamari, rice cracker tuna, the octopus and the sea bass. We loved every single dish. The star was the incredible home made burrata served with lemon jam and olive paste. We ended this adventure with their seasonal special dessert a corn souffle served with pop corn encrusted ice cream. Magnificent. Service was remarkably efficient and polite and friendly. Fantastic restaurant.
Nothing short of spectacular, fine food, excellent service, absolutely dining here again!!
Had a fabulous meal. Great service and ambiance.
Will be back!
Our recent return to Perry St after a many (unexexplained) year absence, was superb! Drinks, wine, appetizers, entrees, desserts were all excellent!! Service is above par!! We will be back without so long an absence.
Definitely a great place for having nice food and good time with friends. The wine (tempranillo) was also really nice
Went here for a birthday dinner and it was amazing. The waiters were really nice and the food was great.
Always delicious food in a contemporary, yet comfortable, setting.
We had a great dinner - many thanks Perry Street
Best lamb chop i've ever had.... also the crusted tuna was to die for
I had a list of instructions and the team accommodated my needs and followed through impeccably. Received just the right amount of attention and perfect service.
Amazing - all around
It was Father’s Day dinner:)
Food was fantastic except “special” New York strip steak
Price was definitely special ( around 70 dollars) but not meat...
Once again - be careful with special:)
Everything else: cocktails, appetizers, my duck - delicious!
Visited P.S. a couple of years ago for dinner had a great time with great service and food. This time around, my 16-year old son and I visited for dinner and the experience couldn’t have been more different. (Keep in mind that my son and his brother were with the last time I visited.) The service was rushed and indifferent. Very condescending attitude from our server. Maybe we were not as hip as the rest of the crowd that night, though I was surprised they let someone into the restaurant wearing athletic shorts, a t-shirt, and flip-flops.
Always fantastic- superb food, attentive service, excellent sommelier-hard to beat!
Had the $36 set price spring menu, a great value (3 courses including appetizer and desert). My sashimi appetizer was great, but the fried chicken was a bit dry and tastless--surprising as I'd heard it was a signature dish. My friend had fried calamari appetizer which was a little doughy, although the salmon entree was fine. The chocolate molten cake dessert was very good.
I love the ambiance and look here. Next time I will try a different entree.
Went for an elegant quiet dinner as it was years ago. Restaurant was packed with noisy 30-somethings, bad loud music. Food was terrible. Over salted scallops (3 tiny pieces) on bed of garlic/tomato mush. 2 measly lamb chops. Check was $275...a waste of an evening and waste of money. Perry St is no longer a special restaurant, just another spot on the celebrity chef hit parade. Serious diners should avoid
absolutely wonderful amazing service and just a beautiful dining room overall a great experience
Food was delicious portions good . With that exception of the scallop entree only 3 scallops should of been 4 more like a appetizer
I had my birthday dinner there with my husband. Everything was excellent and perfect! I had the asparagus for appetizer and we shared the calamari and duck was my entree. Food was fantastic! Service was very professional and high level.
And of course a little candle was on my dessert and a Happy Birthday milk chocolate! I couldn’t wish a better place for my Birthday! Thank you!
The wait staff was prompt, courteous and attentive while we were eating what was one of the finest meals inn memory. The colors of the sunset over the Hudson were an unforgettable experience that mingled exquisitely with a pair of $120 bottles of red wine. Most enjoyable!
Fabulous dinner great service great food great drinks
Went here for a business dinner and was not disappointed! The plates are are the smaller side so not ideal for sharing however the local ingredients and innovative food were delicious. Would definitely come back again.
Fabulous, as usual.
We had a wonderful birthday ceebration at Perry Street.
There were 7 of us, ranging in age from 7 to 70 and everyone loved the restaurant.
We ordered a variety of appetizers for the table, and each was delicious. We also ordered different entrees(lobster, scallops, steak, and Perry St. fried chicken, and everything was beautifully presented and wonderful.
My only ctiticism, is that one of our party is a vegetarian, and the only vegetatian entree option was a broccoli dish. The person who ordered it said it was delicious, but I wish there were a few vegetarian entree options, not just one.
Beautiful setting. Food was disappointing. Too many components to dishes. The combination of multiple (often unnecessary) sauces combined with fried components of many dishes turned much of the following trail of aftertaste into unpleasant memories. Service was a bit of yin-yang of attitude.
We "love, love, love" Perry Street and make reservations on every trip to NYC. The staff is so "nice" and professional plus the food selections (and taste) are incredible. Thank you for being a "hidden gem"......
The food was all delicious esoecually all the sauce for all entrees
Among the best in the business.
Great food, great service, great lunch price fixe, great room. What more could you want.
I've eaten here many times. They now almost exclusively serve highly spiced food, and the spiciness is often not identified on the menu. They were very gracious when we complained, and gave us an extra dessert, but overall I was quite disappointed to not be able to eat at what had been one of my favorite restaurants.
I needed a restaurant with impeccable service and unpretentious, delicious food. This was a great choice for the occasion. The service was above reproach, attentive without being cloying. The sommelier was knowledgeable without being pedantic. The backwaiters were very polite and helpful. The restaurant was quiet without being tomblike. I liked just about all the food and portions were rather spare. One could easily order a three-course meal and walk away satisfied but not stuffed. With two cocktails, a glass of wine and one bottle for the table, dinner for five ran us $600 with tip. Rather on the high end of the scale for our family but it was a beautifully executed dining experience and I wouldn’t hesitate to bring guests here in the future.
I was sat at a table that was added to the dining room. There was no light for me and my party to actually see the menu. The restaurant was not to capacity but somehow we drew the auxiliary seating. My waiter was nice but inattentive. It took forever for us to order entrees. What’s sad is that I love this restaurant and the food. For my patronage to end because of something that good service can alleviate is unfortunate.
Perry Street is so sleek and glamorous - lovely interior - extremely professional and attentive staff and knockout food - a great place for lunch or dinner in NYC.
Fantastic lunch at Perry Street. Everything is spot on here and the staff is at once, friendly and professional.
