We live a block away from Perrine and it is our dining room. The food is always delicious and perfectly prepared with many good choices on the menu. The waitstaff has been employed there for many years and they are top notch in service. It is a relaxing restaurant where we are never rushed whether we are dining together or for a meeting. It was easy to give Perrine 5 stars.
Food was excellent, although a duck a la orange had no orange sauce, just a few slices or orange.
Very slow and discombobulated server.
Ran out of Monday night special---Chicken Pot Pie....Which is the best
Outstanding, intimate experience. The entire team, from Host to Server to Chef, were incredibly professional. The food was fantastic and the ambiance was exactly what my fiancée and I were looking for. We will always treasure the personal touches the team extended us to make our engagement night unforgettable.
We had to ask three times to have our coats taken. Two times to order a drink and they didnt ask us if we wanted another barely midway through dinner which of course cost them addl revenue. Food was meh
Excellent for our morning business meetings and for the good food and service. We appreciate that the staff is top notch and takes care of us, but Is never intrusive. Always our go to place without question.
Extremely nice for my birthday. My daughter surprised me and we had a wonderful dinner and cocktails. The staff was superb.
what a nice place for a date. food was delicious and staff even better
We found this restaurant from NYC restaurant week, and we loved it. We came back for my son’s birthday and food never disappointed us. Very well made and delicious ! Thank you !!
I love the attentive personal service. It’s a great space for a business or social meal when discussions are the main goal.
Very good place to diner. Everything was very good. We recommend.
We had such a wonderful time at Perrine. Our Sommelier and waiter Julio was such a pleasure. He told us so many fun and interesting things about the wine, made excellent suggestions to us about the food, and was eager to help make our experience a memorable one, which it certainly was. Not only was the meal and service fantastic, but after dinner, he took it upon himself to give us a tour of private event spaces in the hotel, giving us the lowdown on spaces where movies were filmed and letting us see beautiful venues packed with flowers getting ready for an event. This was truly a delightful evening and one I won’t soon forget.
Every dish was delicious. The service was warm and attentive. Just overall a delightful experience.
Fantastic experience from food to service to ambiance.
Food and staff were amazing
We made a reservation. The seats were empty, but i was guided to a seat with a view of the stairs outside the back corner. I thought maybe it was discrimination because I was Asian. The food is normal. I felt that there was no value. The Asians in the service were friendly, but others were ignored. I'm not going anymore.
Perrine is a very nice midtown restaurant. The food is very good, and it has a beautiful interior.
Convenient location adjacent to the lobby of The Pierre Hotel. The service is very efficient and extremely friendly.
I would recommend Perrine as a very good choice tpfor a pleasant lunch or din Er in midtown Manhattan.
Perrine is a fabulous dining experience in one of the city's loveliest dining rooms. The food, service, atmosphere, even the music, all combined to make for a memorable dinner. And don't miss seeing the atrium at the Pierre Hotel. We will be back. Thank you to everyone for making our meal so wonderful.
Servizio molto attento, tutti molto gentili, nonostante l’importanza del posto lo staff è stato in grado di ricreare un’atmosfera familiare, e questo per me è un plus in NY.
Il cibo di qualità, il dolce super.
Restaurant week dinner, loved the presentation and taste of the meal from the appetizer(Burrata salad) to main course(lamb chop) to dessert(Creme Brulee). Table Service was excellent.
Food delicious and delectable, service warm and wonderful, ambiance elegant yet relaxed. A real treat on restaurant week.
Elegant, in Pierre hotel. Restaurant Week menu offers nice selection. Peach appetizer is divine. Salmon very good but portion could have been larger. Think $8.00 for coffee is too much. Otherwise, great value
Food and service was great
Always a treat to dine here and for such a nice elegant restaurant they are also great with our kids
Wonderful! We enjoyed the Restaurant
Week dinner menu and the Sparkling Cremant Rose. I would come again and recommend.
We live very close to Perrine and always enjoy the food and service. Tonight’s dinner was excellent. It happened to be Restaurant Week and my husband and I loved the tuna nicoise, the upstate vegetables, the swordfish and the desserts of chocolate cake and creme brûlée. The service was perfect and we look forward to more meals at Perrine.
Very elegant setting with excellent service. A friend and I were put in furthered table in back behind wooden barrier and waiter stand which I never would have accepted but my friend was already seated when I arrived and didn’t want to say anything.
Dinner for two, celebrating a birthday. Ambience, service and food excellent. Capped with a surprise luscious birthday dessert, on the house. Completely met expectations!
The only thing I didn't care for was the engagement as the wait staff talked mostly with my guest. Not sure why but maybe it's because she sat facing them? It still made me feel left out.
The short rib plate was very small with very little parsnips while my guest received three lamb chops and quinoa??
Excellent food, ambience & service! Highly recommended!
It was fine. I can’t judge during restaurant week.
Primitive foog for french restaurant in good location. Service was ok. Very limited wine list
Nothing special about the place but the prices. Not awful
Had a bit of a bill misunderstanding about their Fixed Price menu that was charged to us but by no means a deal breaker. My wife, a couple of friends and I took advantage of their lunch special yesterday and had a great time. The food was delicious (I had the salmon), nice classy, formal place overlooking Central Park. We'll be sure to come back, we highly recommend it to everyone.
Second time here in July, food is great, service is still VERY slow. Warm chocolate cake is the best.
Always a great experience! Food is delicious, portions are good but not overwhelming. Our waiter was very nice, made good recommendations.
Good value overall for French
Went during restaurant week and had a very good valued dinner that included a wonderful molten chocolate cake. My only peeve was that the bathroom was in the hotel attached to the restaurant and required a hotel key to get in.
This is our 2019 summer NYC restaurant week visit experience #perrine
This all happened on a Thur night between around 7:50-10:15. The food was great and fresh, lamb chop was excellent! every dish was nicely prepared but still a very disappointing experience since there should be no excuse to have no service from a restaurant of this level.
we waited over 15 mins to finally have someone came show us the menu. no one ever ask if we want anything to drink or serve us water... we had to stop a lady walking by with water bucket to give us some water after waiting 25+ mins.... and they never refill water once through our stay of the whole night.
we had to ask someone to send someone to take our order (which is 35+ mins after we were seated). Dinner bread was finally served after we placed our orders.
we ordered a bottle of wine but no one ever come pour wine for us once.
I had mentioned to our waiter we are sharing everything among 3 of us. but we were never offer extra plates when they brought out 2 appetizers.
one guy did come asking if food was ok but it was before we get to taste our food.... and that was the only time anyone had ever come check on us.
again we were sharing 2 dessert among 3 of us and they only give us 2 sets utensils.
then we asked 3 times to finally get the bill....
when we were leaving, we had hard time pushing the door open so we said: oh this door is very heavy!!! and the guy standing at the reception desk just said: yeah it’s very heavy. he did not offer to help us with the door or even look at us....
Regardless if they are short-staff or too busy from restaurant week, this kind of service is worse than any fast food chain..... staffs show no emotion, not welcoming, don’t really care.... we pick this restaurant for its 4.5 rating and “good service” review. this is like a joke to us. sigh....
Classic restaurant. Interesting food and good service.
