The food and service was excellent- we had lunch with friends - the flatbread was a perfect starter -
The 2 course special is a bargain considering the portion size- the regular menu has a nice selection of entree salads as well as seafood choices
The service was spectacular!!!!!
Let’s support our restaurants !!!
Loved my sisters and my birthday celebration. Champagne was the extra touch. Venue and service superb.
The place was dead! Food was okay. Not much choices but the service was good
It's a hotel restaurant after all, and not particularly innovative. That said, it was mercifully quiet post lunch rush (around 2:00 pm) and comfortable.
Lovely birthday dinner! We had wonderful cocktails, good wine and delicious food. It took "a little" long for our dinners to come out, but we were fine with the pace.
Nice Central Park location. Ordered the entrees that were recommended by our Server (short rib and curry) nothing remarkable about them that I can recall.
Excellent but pricey
ordered a couple cappuccinos for brunch paid extra for everyone!!!!
Everything was awful
Waiting
Room temperature
Waiters - unprofessional
Food was awful
Worst experience we ever had
All guests were complaining .
Very disappointed
Valentine’s day
Quite possibly the worst service that I've had at a restaurant. My husband and I went on Valentine's day so we assumed that we might have a bit of a wait. The host seated us immediately and showed us to the "more exclusive" dining room since we paid the higher price for the meal. Our server didn't greet us for almost a half-hour and then after that took another 20 minutes to come back and take our order. By this time we had basically drunk the entire bottle of wine that we ordered. When the first course arrived our order was wrong. By this time the events director took over our table and we had other tables leaning over letting us know to not expect anything to go right since all of their orders came out incorrect also. I ordered the dry-aged steak and ended up getting two strips of almost inedible steak. To make up for the mishap(s) the events director kept pouring champagne from other bottles. When dessert came we couldn't even eat it. It was a dry tasteless cake with a weird sorbet that tasted like kids toothpase. I can't imagine anyone paying that much for the poor quality that we recieved.
Told us only pre fixe, which is fine. But the offerings didn’t nearly stack up to the price. Took 15 minutes to get water. Auto gratted the bill, so watch out for this one.
Avoid at all cost. Valentine’s Day dinner was a disaster. Food is okay, I would rate 7/10. Tho They squeeze in many tables for revenue without having enough servers. Literally one server was serving at least 20 tables surrounding us. Have to wait at least 15 min after each course for a 5 course dinner, stretching the entire dinner to ridiculously long 3.5 hours. The rotunda is super cold and no action was taken after multiple rounds of feedback. At least half of the customers were wearing jacket while having dinner. The bill was also charged wrongly, instead of $275 per couple as indicated in the menu, they charged $275 per person. Took the server another 20 min to figure out what was wrong- they clearly don’t know what they are doing or just have random backups to be the servers on the special day. After all these drama, it still shows a mandatory 18% gratuity charges which is absolutely unacceptable... the entire experience was no where it matches the price. Shame on you.
Had dinner since this restaurant offered restaurant week menu the week after restaurant week ended. Had to request the restaurant week menu since was not given. They also had restaurant week special cocktails so had winter punch which was very good. French onion soup was delicious. Beef short ribs was very good but portion was very small. Requested apple tart hot but was slightly warm so sent back. The next one was barely warm but did not have time to wait for the 3rd time. The room on the way to the restroom has a beautiful hand-painted mural on the domed ceiling.
Perrine is always outstanding. Excellent food and service...very enjoyable dining.
Great, my wife and I eat there at least once a week. And we know restaurants.
My food was good not great. My boyfriend’s was mediocre. Our waiter was very nice and attentive. However the Maitre D was very rude. We arrived early and wanted to have a drink at the bar first and he told us we’d better sit because he has a full restaurant. When I reminded him we were early he sort sniffed and walked away. Rude again when we came back at the correct time to be seated. Overall it is overpriced for what it is. I really expected more. Won’t be returning.
Outstanding staff, good wine selection, tasty n well presented food offerings - not rushed, quiet elegance, as expected 👍
My friends and I always go out to eat during Restaurant Week. This time we chose Perrine and we were delighted with our meals. I had the French onion soup which was delicious and very filling. Our server recommended the branzino which was excellent. I selected the chocolate lava cake which was amazing. We all said how glad we were that we tried this restaurant, which I think was participating in Restaurant Week for the first time. Our server was very patient. He didn’t rush us and made a very good recommendation to have the branzino.
Waiters took our plates away. But no one came back up to talk to us to see if we wanted anything else, like our check. It should be assumed that they can get the hint as we’re just sitting there watching them work and since we were seated in front of the terminal where the waiters hung around. But no one made contact until I had to flag them down. Nevertheless, the service is not that attentive.
This is my third time love this restaurant food staff ambiance and value
Pre broadway theater dinner.
My husbands vegetarian dish was “terrible”
The special Dover sole was fine, nothing amazing at $72!
Desert s’mores for two was not edible. Very greasy cream filling, with no real Chocolate taste.
This is one of my favorite restaurants in New York. The food and service are impeccable. It is so relaxing. A wonderful escape from the busy city.
We have dined there several times, but during the pre fixe restaurant week the food was not as good- heavy in the stomach. Takes a long Time for the mixed drinks to serve, and there was miscommunication as to what we wanted. Other than that it’s a very good crowd with good ambiance.
The appetizer was shared between 2. We had classic shrimp cocktail. Huge delicious shrimp. More than enough for 2ppl
We both had black bass. It was served in delicious vegetables broth and cooked perfectly. We shared creme brûlée for dessert. Again, delicious and large portion!
We left very happy and satisfied with this delicious meal and superb attentive service!
We can’t wait to return!
We friends meet for lunch about once a month. During restaurant week we find a restaurant we wouldn’t ordinarily go to to try. The Pierre Hotel is a stunning treasure and we assumed we’d have a lovely meal. We were all EXTREMELY disappointed. The steak was so tough it was uncuttable and unchewable. The chicken and salmon mediocre at best. The baked Alaska dessert which we were told was their specialty was fake! Not baked, not even warm with marshmallow on top instead of meringue which must have been browned with a creme brûlée torch. Anyone who knows me knows I have NEVER left a dessert on the table. This was just so sweet I didn’t even make it halfway through. Even as a restaurant week treat, Perrine was more than disappointing. Don’t bother.
Everything was perfect until dessert arrived which was so dried out and overcooked. I still will return and totally enjoyed the entire experience of dining at the Pierre!
Food was fabulous! I started out with the sliced salmon—portion was generous and delicious! Next I had the fried chicken. I NEVER order fried food but I thought I would take a chance because I was at Perrine. I was right. Done to perfection! Then I indulged myself and had the apple tart.
The food was fabulous and I could have a conversation where I could hear the other person. I am definitely returning soon.
Food was delucious~~
Great food as usual! Patrons were very noisy and only a few tables on a cold evening. The Service was good.
Locale molto particolare.
New Years Eve early dinner.
Very good place , good team and good food . We were on 31 December at six o clock . Happy new year 2020 . Philippe , marina and Carla
Perrine was perfect for a New Year's Eve lunch!
We were very happy it was not noisy, and we will be back for sure!

Quick and attentive service with absolutely fantastic food. Decor and ambiance was timeless. For an extra fun experience, request Julio as your waiter!
Average food on a higher price level. Very packed. Waiter offered some truffels for a dish that was priced extra for 105$ per person. No hint in advance. When we complained, the unbelievable unprofessional management lady started laughing at me. So we refused to pay for this. Three rounds later we could leave. Additional they cheat on water. Charged 6 large bottles for 4 people in 1.5 hours. Seems like we were very thirsty... overall very desperate and sad experience
