My partner and I have lived in Austin for a little over 10 years and never ate at Perlas. We set up a resy a month in advance to have brunch. Only to be greeted with a thick black piece of hair in my Benedict. They quickly replace the meal for me but they didn’t even

As usual, this was the total dining experience...fantastic food and excellent service. Our server was awesome, she offered advise and helpful suggestions. Our meals were fantastic...I can't say enough good about this place.

We had reservations for Tuesday evening for my birthday. We arrived about 30 minutes early and were seated immediately. We were offered drinks and snacks from the snack menu but the most impressive part was that we were taking care of immediately. The dinner menu had not come out yet but almost immediately after we were seated, Gabby brought hushpuppies to the table and drink menus. She was back moments later to take our drink order. She was very efficient and the food was amazing. Thanks to Gabby, my birthday dinner was perfect. I had the redfish on the half shell with chimichurri and salsa verde and my husband had the halibut. The brussel sprouts were cooked to perfection as was the fish. We also had the ceviche and it was to die for. The wedge salad was nice too but I would’ve preferred a different dressing other than thousand island. It was still really good. Perla’s‘s will continue to be one of my favorite dining spots and I don’t mind traveling the almost two hours from San Antonio to dine here.

I spotted Perla’s while walking back from another restaurant the night before and thought it would be a great place to take my wife. I particularly thought the outside patio area looked like the perfect vibe. The following night we dined at Perla’s and we enjoyed everything about it. Waited for outside seating and enjoyed sitting side by side for a change at the countertop seating. I’m not usually a dessert person but the homemade ice cream and the key lime desserts were excellent. The shareable side dishes are also very good and the perfect amount for two people. The Yukon Gold griddle cakes and the shishito peppers were our favorites. Next time we’re in Austin we will definitely dine at Perla’s!

Went for Sunday brunch. I had the wedge salad. It could have used a bit more crab and a bit more thousand island. Egg white and lobster frittata was good but was drenched in sour cream. Maybe put that on the side. The potato cakes were somewhat bland needed more seasoning. Put sour cream on side for those as well! If Overall a good but not great brunch.

A Memorable Evening! Our family of four celebrated our daughter’s birthday at Perla’s last evening. It was the first time for all of us as our daughter moved to Austin four years ago and much of that time was spent at home. Everything was delicious, the ambiance is beautiful and the service was excellent. We did not feel rushed, and it was great to relax and catch up. We especially enjoyed the Maine scallops, crusted sea bass and grouper. The Mac and cheese with lobster was delicious, but very spicy. Not a child’s entree. We will definitely return to Perla’s in the future for a special evening out!

We go to Perlas often and usually have a great experience however we had a bad experience this visit which was extremely disappointing since it was my husband’s birthday. We ordered a seafood tower. First we were given no oyster forks or anything to discard our shells. The crab legs were also not prepped properly so it was very difficult to get out the meat. Half of the tower was inedible. We even had to ask for towels when we were done. Service was extremely lacking. Do not think we will return after this experience.

Out of town visitor. Seafood delectable! Service not so much. Server good, but Not enough servers for size of restaurant. Our server was working both inside and outside. Our water glasses empty most of dinner. Too long a wait for pre-dinner drinks!

We hadn’t been to Perla’s in awhile but we will certainly be back soon. The food was awesome and service was exceptional. I had to try the XL Ugly Duckling oysters and they were both great and also the largest oysters I have ever seen.

We try to get to Perla’s when we visit ATX whether for a patio lunch or white tablecloth dinner … never disappoints🤠 Today was patio lunch … Woodfield creole oysters - creamy, zesty, and plump oysters. Then we had two poboys = one shrimp and one oyster, accompanied by daikon slaw, fries, and fried okra. Everything was prepared properly and joyful to eat. Service was spot on as our experience has been every time we visit - thank you Alysse👍🏻

Always love our time at Perla's. The fresh oysters were amazing as usual and found some new favorites. The fried oysters were exceptional this time as well. Love the bubbles, cocktails and desserts, too. You just can't go wrong with Brunch at Perla's.

This dinner was my bd gift from my children and Perla's knew this. We were sat next to the kitchen, she moved us after I spoke up. The noise level was unbearable, we could not even speak to each other. the server didn't even offer dessert and my children wanted me to celebrate.

As usual this restaurant never disappoints! the food is excellent and the service outstanding. One negative for me is that Perlas no longer offer the green pozole. Hope they bring it back at some point.

Octopus was fantastic, seabass delicious, the sides and sauce on the Tuna Au Poivre were cold. Service could use a bit of fine tuning for that price point. Felt slightly neglected most of the night.
