Seafood Paradise! I love oysters so to me this is the best restaurant in Austin.

The fish was marginal. It wasn’t the worst that I have had and it certainly was not the best.

Our server Travis was so amazing, he had so much information on the menu and gave us so many options when we were confused on what to order. It was our groups first time at Perlas and it was beyond amazing. I will definitely be returning!

My favorite restaurant! Everything they make is delicious. The oysters are always fresh & shucked perfectly. Drinks are good & a little strong (in a good way). I can’t think of anything on the menu that I wouldn’t recommend. Do yourself a favor and try their cauliflower or wood grilled oysters.

Food was wonderful, but the waiter was extremely unhelpful. We asked about multiple things on the menu her response was always “just depends what your feeling” or “it depends on what you like.” Food and ambiance was wonderful, service needs some work. Ed

Had a great dinner date on a Thursday night. Quiet and didn’t feel rushed at all. Food was delicious and drinks were good too.

Perlas is probably my favorite restaurant. Excellent service, drinks & oysters. They’re always super fresh & shucked properly so there’s never any shell. The cauliflower, Mac & cheese & peppers are also amazing. If I could give them 10 stars I would.

Wonderful birthday brunch! Food and service were top notch. Only weird thing was $2 surcharge for side of syrup for my pancake. Planning to return soon.

Hostess was rude. We sat at our table located right by the bathroom entrance and waited 15 minutes before leaving b/c no one attended to us. Wont be going back here again.

Food was amazing, oysters won’t disappoint. Also, one of the best burgers in Austin that you’ve never heard about!

Love the outdoor patio. Oysters on the half shell and other seafood appetizers are excellent. Lobster bucatini is decadant and delicious. Sides are great and family-sized. Lobster mac and cheese is rich and comforting. No one will leave this place hungry. Servers are friendly and efficient. Gets a little cold on the outdoor patio during the winter but well worth it.

Great server, great oyster selection. My octopus was over cooked, but the server did offer to bring another.

Halibut was on the smaller side and very dry.

Initially given a table that was on the bar side of the restaurant that did not have table cloth was tucked in a corner, was definitely not what we expected and to make matters worse was next to a customer who was loudly conversing on the phone while dinning alone. However upon tow requests to the hostess, we were relocated to the main dinning room that is where we had expected to dine, especially since we had made a reservation in advance. Once in the main dinning room, the ambiance and decor were gorgeous, the cocktails were delicious, however small in size compared to the general Austin restaurant scene. The oysters were fantastic, very well prepared (very fresh, clean and free of any shells pieces or sand). The fish and bouillabaisse were memorable. A successful experience besides a disappointing start.

If you make a reservation in the middle of the afternoon (our reservation was at 3:30 p.m.) you will not get lunch or dinner. They have snacks instead, an "abreviated" menu that was not mentioned in their website. Had I known that's all that was available I would not have made the reservation. Snacks were ok at best

One of our favorite restaurants in Austin. Loved the oysters but you have to get the shells and cheese and the butterscotch custard for sure.
