Nice yummy food

It was great to be out two days before yet another lockdown. Staff were friendly, professional, and welcoming. The food never disappoints.

Every time I go to Perla I have a phenomenal time. The food is always fantastic, the service is incredible, the restaurant is beautiful and the staff is super friendly. Tony is always a gem with my son and treats us like family when we’re there. A great spot for families, birthdays, or girls nights! :p

Did not feel like social distancing was in effect. Felt uncomfortable as tables and other customers were super close. There were acrylic pieces left and right of tables, but front back tables there were nothing so did not really help.

They were busy and didn’t even get our cocktails until the 2nd appetizer came. Oysters were served after our first hot appetizer which I thought was weird.

Overall food was ok, but service and the fact social distancing was not being followed makes this a no return for me.

Chic modern decor made you feel like a Toronto venue a little up north. The oysters were fantastic the grilled octopus exquisite. The staff under this covid environment was on point. Highly recommend. Thanks guys

The restaurant and food were great, the staff was very energetic and cheerful, despite having gotten the news that inside dining was being shutdown on Sun Oct 18 at midnight due to pandemic!

4 guys on a golf trip stopped in for dinner on a Saturday night. It was an energetic, fun place with great vibes. The food and service was outstanding. Everything was really Covid-19 safe...they did a great job.

There was a small snag with my meal (the kitchen forgot it), but they promptly got it out to me when they realized what happened. Worth the wait! The owner came by and got us a round of drinks....not necessary, but well received. Thanks again!

Overall the food was really good. Pass on the crab cakes - was disappointing that they weren’t lump crab especially for the price!
Waiter messed up on an order so one of us had to wait while the others finished their meals.
All the pasta (fettuccine and pasta special) were delicious- fresh, fresh, fresh. The branzino was perfectly cooked and the veggies were a good accompaniment! Will be back for more seafood!

Great meal and service was superb

My wife and I went for our anniversary and had an amazing time. From the time you walk in you are greeted by the staff and taken to your table. Service was on point, we didn't have to wait long to order, the drinks and food came shortly after. The fish was fresh and preprepaed elegantly.
We will definitely be going back!

Great food and great decor!

I have been to Perla three times and each time I have been extremely pleased with the experience. The food is of outstanding quality - my personal favourites are the variety of oysters and pastas. The lobster mac & cheese and seafood fettuccine are divine. The service sets this restaurant apart - every time we arrive, we are greeted warmly, and from the moment we sit down to when we leave we are well cared for with kindness and attentiveness. When I came for my birthday dinner, I was treated to a slice of cake on the house, which was a very generous and touching gesture. The interior of the restaurant is beautiful and has an elegant ambience, and the patio is spacious and lovely. Perla is one of my favourite restaurants in the Vaughan area and I am so excited to come back.

Food was great, seafood was amazing quality, the owners (who i believed were the owners) made every customer feel like they were at the favourite uncles house for dinner. Would definitely come back. Not many quality seafood places around woodbridge aside from this one.

Like the pearl you rarely find in an oyster, Perla is a hidden find in Woodbridge! Open in December, just three months before having to close due to the pandemic, I hope that this review will encourage diners to support this new venture until we return to more 'normal' times for foodies, by booking an experience on their patio.

The food: Well-shucked oysters from top suppliers, excellent, thoughtful, fresh seafood and pasta dishes, tasty 'sociables'...there is something for everyone. Hard to choose from the diverse menu. They can even create a dish for vegan/vegetarian guests.

The service: mindful of social distancing and hygiene, while still being incredibly friendly and inviting....thanks to the owner Frances! She is smart, hospitable, and destined to succeed.

Bonus: personal-size hand sanitizers are waiting at every table for each diner!

None of the staff were wearing masks or respecting social distancing rules. Were told the seafood was fresh and shipped on the day of, however was obviously previously frozen. They even had a table dine indoor in the middle of a pandemic when only outdoor dining is permitted in GTA at this time (it could have been family or friends of the restaurant owner, still very alarming)

They did give away small bottles of hand sanitizer, which was nice but is there a point of providing it when you are finished your meal or when the staff is 10 inches from you speaking and serving food without masks...
