Food is incredible! Portions are overwhelming but delicious. So worth your money.

Restaurant has live music which is extremely loud. No way you can have a conversation . Our waitress was not the best as we had to flag her down to place our order after sitting for 30 minutes. On the plus side, we did enjoy our meal and the portions are enormous.

Good food and service but a band started around 8 and was still playing when we left at 9:30. It was so loud, we had to shout when talking. The music wasn’t good and they didn’t even take a break so people could have some conversation.

Ordered the red snapper dinner & was amazed by how enormous the serving portion of rice and salad were!! It was absolutely delicious!!! I ordered the cucumber water & it was very good!!Love that as soon you are seated they bring you a plate of ceviche & chips & salsa!!!

Why make reservations if the Restaurant is not going to honor them. I understand it was a busy day but there should be at least a notice to let the person that made the reservation that they are running behind not getting to the restaurant to let you know that there is an hour and a half wait for seating.Example we had an 8:45 pm reservation we arrived at 8:20 PM for them to tell us that we had an hour and a half wait to be seated yet there was a couple there they had no reservations but have been waiting for an hour got seated before us a lot of this was happening in front us people with reservations not being honored ,Then what’s the point of the reservation? Other than that atmosphere is very good food is delicious a little pricey compared to other spots will I go back again I’m pretty sure I will as soon as they handle their reservation situation.

Margaritas were standard, but food was very good. Also, the tip percentage should never be charged after tax has already been added.

Poor service, waitress was not as I expected to be. More helpful when asked for things. Waitress bad actitud when attending. With a reservation for 17. We ended up returning 3 shrimp dishes causes they were not deveined. I was discusted. Several of my invites didn't like the drinks they ordered. To top if off they did not have my drink no Piña Coladas only on rocks. For the prices and the tip they add to your bill I expected much more. Last but not least the bathroom hand drier was not working. Not to mention that you must go between the band that's playing the music to get to the bathrooms. Cause my invites didn't like the drinks we ended up paying $569. I'm coming back.

HUGE drawback... EXTREMELY loud mariachi band on a Sunday afternoon. With lofty ceilings and wide open space, we had to scream to hear each other. It was comical... take a date that is not a big conversationalist! (And the band was great... but maybe on a Friday or Saturday NIGHT?)

Excellent seafood and the service was great.

Loud and very pricey, this place may need a bit more time to hit its stride. The food is good, but I'd expect more for the city-like price. Cocktails were great.

Also, if you want to talk at dinner, this may not be the best place because it is very loud. I hope it gets better.

Great food and service

The food and drinks are made to order and will blow your tastebuds away! Every item we had was delicious. We can’t wait to go back.

We tried this place for the first time Friday and it was a very good experience, food was very good. The only negative was, a little pricey and the chairs were uncomfortable and we felt a little snug, other than that our server was attentive and overall a good experience.

It was nice, not too bad. The seating was a bit awkward and we had a few requests from the server that weren’t met. Service was a bit slow nearing the end of our meal. Food was very good and you get a lot value out of your meal. Was really satisfied with the meal. I will recommend to others. Had a positive experience nonetheless.

We ordered two appetizers and they were delish. We ordered a shareable but the shrimp were overcooked and chewy. We notified our waitress and she said she’d ask chef for another batch. Another lady came to our table and said they always turn out this way. I told her temp was too high and too long and she said that’s how they’re prepared. I had to order another dish that was perfectly cooked. Paid for everything wasn’t expecting a free dinner but she could’ve handled it better. Could’ve offered a different prep recipe or recommended a different dish. It’s expensive enough to expect perfectly cooked seafood.

A little over priced didn't get much . A family of 10 bill was $600 that's crazy...

The food is out of this world!

We order Molcajete. It was an interesting, but good interpretation, served cold. Each piece of seafood was perfectly cooked. The ambience and any attempts talk were drowned out by the band, leaving no option for conversation.

Live music is extremely loud making it difficult to converse.

Brand new place and it looks great inside. The food was great. I love the empanadas! The lobster tail was gigantic! Great live band and the staff was very nice and helpful. Paper straws a plus!

Terrible service host told us it would be about a 30 min wait although 3 tables were open. Then made reservation when we walked in for our reservation still were told to wait another 30 min. couple that walked in before us got sat down immediately. Never coming to this restaurant again disappointed at the service. for the look of the place better service and organization is expected.

I was there celebrating my Birthday and Had a great time S/O to the owner made my celebration a hit the place is beautiful the ambiance and music just perfect Drinks on Point! The only thing I have to say is a couple guest did mentioned food was bit salty like camarones zarandeados and Aguachiles! And cheese was half melted on the pineapple other then that service was Great! Can’t stress enough the way the owner made everything great and how attentive he was with my whole Party ! Thank you so much we all had a blast !

I know they just opened but our waitress had no idea on questions i asked her about the menu or drinks, she kept having to go back and check about everything, we decided just to have 1 drink and quick appetizer and leave. Maybe in a couple of months will retry this again.

Our first time and overall it was a great experience! The fact that our waitress spoke ASL made our visit even more welcoming.

Food was ok. Spent $270 for 4 of us. It’s pretty expensive for just ok food. Don’t bother booking with open table because they will cancel your reservation just to not give you points even though you are there. Not happy about that. Last time I eat here. I don’t like shady business!

Update- after I complained and made a big deal about it, they ended up giving me my points. I’ve never had that happen anywhere before. Seems like shady practice.

Love this place !!! Great food good music and drinks are delicious

This was my first time dining here. The food was outstanding!! However, the servers were a little confused and kept delivering our food to other tables. The restaurant has only been open 1 week so I’m sure things will get better. The live band was also good but the music was a little loud, making it hard to hear conversation amongst everyone at the table. Overall, me and my party had a good time and will definitely be back!

I believe prices were way to high, especially for the location.

Took for ever to take our order and we order our drinks took like 20 minutes
Order a modelo especial beer , I asked for a piece of lime , got it right after I finished my beer
I just wanted to get out of there just paid
And I checked my check at home and they charged me an extra plate

Never coming back

The restaurant sits at the old Buchos location which was a Bolingbrook staple for 30 years with their frozen margaritas.

The space has been gutted and is vastly improved with an ipen floor plan and several more windows.

We were hesitant about booking a birthday dinner here on their second day of operation but we were pleasantly surprised.

We made a meal out of a few appetizers (octopus and fish ceviche ). The bar look great but we would have liked a draft beer option or the option to order a frozen margarita.

Overall it was a great experience. We will return.
