This was my second time here. We came the last time we were in San Juan and loved it. The food was really good along with the service. It's not cheap but overall experience is worth it. I also love that the menu changes.

Absolutely beautiful setting. We had an early dinner and is was still light outside. Beach view framed by the huge shell shaped room was great. Service is relatively formal but not cloying. Food is a bit uneven. Sometimes too much stuff is on the plate when simpler would be better.

My friend and I had a fantastic time eating dinner here. The drinks were wonderful, the food was delicious, the service was great, and the views were priceless. We loved the lighting and how it cast watery shadows on the ceiling, and watching the waves crash right next to us was a fantastic experience.

Course menu is very normal. Filet mignon and chocolate cake the best. Overrated.

Great ambiance, excellent for a romantic dinner; food was really nice, but not on the WOW side; service was not as outstanding as I would expect for a fancy, fine restaurant.

The ceciche my husband order as an appetizer was ridiculous, just a tiny spoon of ceviche. We both ordered sea bass which was supposed to be their signature dish. It tasted like it had been in the freezer for months! The music was too loud and the chech was over $300.00. Not worth it, not comming back!

La Perla is a great spot for a special dinner. Atmosphere is supper-club like in an amazing structure with views of the ocean and special lighting. Food is very good.

Our dinner at Perla included a four course tasting menu with wines paired for each course. The chef’s creations were superb; the wines were delicious. The service was outstanding. Our server, Nicole, was attentive, pleasant and friendly. The setting was quiet and romantic with views of the ocean from our table. Our dinner at Perla was perfect from the cauliflower soup , the lobster ceviche, and surf and turf to the orange creme brûlée, pumpkin creme brûlée, and assorted ice creams!

Great food and great service!

You can never go wrong with Surf and Turf, but Perla takes it to another level! Great food, great service, and great ambiance. Highly recommend.

Even though I requested flowers at rhe table, it was not fulfilled to surprise my wife. But is a nice and quiet place good for annivesaries, date, or a quiet conversation. It has a nice ocean view and you can stay at the hotel to hang out after dinner.

My night was amazing! My server Ricardo was the best! My food very well prepared and SO DELICIOUS...the total ambiance was a perfect 10++!!! Thank you!

The worst service I have ever experienced. Not once did the waiter tell us about anything on the menu. Never asked if we wanted another drink. He just handed us the dessert menu and walked off without saying a word.

Everything was divine. Josue was an amazing waiter with impeccable table side service and was nicely complimented by his service staff. Incredible dining experience from the wine list, well thought out appetizers, creative entrees, and top notch service. Best of luck to Josue as he studies to become a sommelier!

Our experience at Perla was excellent. The wait staff was very attentive and the food was outstanding! The soup, a lobster broth with seafood had amazing flavor as did the sea bass. The lobster was also very good, but was a little pricey

The host, meh. I sent the request for window table and I told her in the front of the restaurant and she gave me a table in the center of the restaurant. There was 6 window tables empty and 4 of these was clean.

This restaurant was beautiful and the food was great. Our server was amazing and so was the ambiance. Don't drive down Ashford in the evening on the weekend. Just walk! Traffic was pretty bad and we were almost late for our reservation. Dress well, no t-shirts or bathing suits. I would definitely go back, if in PR again!

it is a beautiful venue. BUT WHILE IT ADVERTISES A VIEW OF THE SEA THAT IS FALSE. IT GETS DARK AND YOU SEE NOTHING. the service is professional. food was well prepared , fresh and delicious. if there was only more. very expensive. biggest problem is portion size. tiny. tiny tiny. staff tries to accommodate.

I recommend this Restaurant to my friends and family for a special occasion and for a great get together. The atmosphere was very romantic, the service was very good and the food was flavorful and delicious. The baked lobster (was my plate) melted in my mouth and the desert was so good. Definitely we want to go back for our wedding anniversary dinner.

Combined with the view, the service, the background and the room, this is one of, if not the best, meal I've ever had. 15/10! 6 stars! Amazing!
