Excellent addition to Steamboat dining, great food and service in an elegant dining room.
Catamount is a gorgeous setting for this beautiful restaurant. The inviting interior is perfectly lit complete with fireplace. The service was warm and professional. The appetizers, cocktails, wine list and entrees were top notch. Can’t wait to come back!
Exceptional food and service. Chicken a la king was cooked perfectly. NY Strip melt in your mouth. Brian, our server, was attentive, knowledgeable, and efficient. Will definitely be returning soon!
The food and the entire staff were great! It’s the second time we’ve eaten there and we look forward to going back again soon.
Chairs and banquettes are uncomfortable and don’t quite fit the table. Our server Taylor was very good.
Outstanding meal in a beautiful setting. Expensive but worth it.
40 minutes before we received our cocktail order. Wine refills had not arrived by time for check. Waitress forgot one of our appetizers. Taylor brought it out later.
Great dining experience. The entire staff was very attentive and friendly. Loved the taste of prosecco when we walked in.
Everything was amazing!
New since December 28,2019. Perhaps the most sophisticated restaurant in Steamboat.
Great food, service and ambiance. Will definitely return!!
The service was excellent, and the food and the ambience were good, but overall the experience was overpriced. I am an excellent cook and we eat a lot at home. Prices like these are the reason we don't dine out often.
We had an amazing experience! It is a beautiful interior space, and such a great touch to be greeted by a lovely hostess as well as a sip of prosecco! The bar service was immaculate with a very well educated and attentive bar tender. The food was great as well as our table service. Can't say enough great things about this restaurant! We are excited to return.
The portion size is the smallest in Steamboat Springs. Dover Sole Meuniere, about 3-4 ounces. Lobster Thermidor, one half of a small lobster tail. Really not fair.
The food was incredible...the chef is amazing! The staff were friendly and delightful. We went on a Thursday so we had a pianist who was great. The entire experience was one we would do again and again...
Thank you Jenny for taking care of us! We have been telling all of our friends and family about Periodic Table at Catamount. The food was delicious, service was impeccable, ambiance perfect. We can't wait to return to our new favorite restaurant.
Beautiful place, good service. Food was a bit bland - I had lobster thermador and it lacked flavor. Prices are quite high and all menu items are a la carte. Being greeted with a "taste" of Prosecco is a nice touch. Special occasion spot only.
Service was somewhat amateur but otherwise great experience.
Awesome food. There were a lot of nice service touches such as prosecco upon arrival and table side caesar salads.
We had the nicest time. We arrived for happy hour which was so lovely because we could both soak in the beautiful view, and they also have great deals on drinks and starters. The staff could not have been lovelier. I can't wait to come back to Steamboat in March and go again.
I have been here twice and have had great service and great food. Everyone in my family sai they loved their meals.
It was a very nice evening. Interesting idea for the menu. It was roaring 20’s theme menue. However it would have been more festive & interesting if either some decor or wait staff showed an indication as to the theme.
Awesome food! Great experience. Creative concept.
So wonderful I don't even know where to begin. Your night starts with a glass of Prosecco as you are welcomed to the restaurant and they take your coats. You are then escorted to your table and told who your server will be. The Drink list was incredible and I strongly suggest you get something from the Martini cart which is made table side. I love gin and this is the time period for that- I had the Tuxedo Cocktail which was the best drink I have ever had!! My Husband had a wonderful mock tail and our friends had the Bees Knees and the 50/50 Martini, all excellent. Then you get the menu's and the hard part really starts!! What to pick from the incredible choices. We decided to share the Lump Crab Beignets and the Fruits De Mer both were incredible and the perfect starters . We then ordered table side Caesar Salad and again magnificent. Then for the main course we all went different directions , I had the Lobster Thermidor, my husband had the Chicken Ala King , and our friends had the ham and Dover Sole again it was all so great. The lobster was moist, tender and not overpowered by the other flavors in the dish , just the right amount. We then shared the deserts which were exquisite, my favorite was the Lemon Mouse. We also had Grasshoppers for an after dinner drink and again they were so light and full of flavor, delish. So get there while you can still experience this incredible menu, Can't wait to see what the next one will bring to our little valley!
Very cozy setting. Nice menu that will change seasonally. Very welcoming and attentive service.
Food was good; waiter was very nice. However, he failed to ever bring bread we had asked for, as well as a side-dish that one person at our table had ordered. Restaurant doesn't have the ambiance of a 1920's restaurant which I think they are trying to create. And the chairs are impossible to get close to the table for comfortable eating.
Nice atmosphere.. very limited menu..tiny portions.. very expensive for what you hot.
Wonderful, delicious new restaurant. Well worth the time! Check it out!
Really nice and a bit off beaten path. Commend club for upping its game and opening its doors.
What a great experience. We enjoyed an elegant meal in a fun atmosphere. The crab beignets with green goddess dressing was delicious. Chicken a la king was tender and juicy with a crispy skin. Very tasty. Fun atmosphere to dine in. You do get a sense of being in 1920’s NYC. If you like a cocktail before dinner, try the French 75, Kyle does a great job with it. Very good service and noise level was conducive to a nice conversation. We will definitely be back.
Phil and his Chef have created a classy, comfortable restaurant at Catamount Golf open to the Public. The Bar has comfortable, cozy seating and nice space. The menu is short and to the point and everything was prepared and served well. I'll be returning.
