By far, worst dining experience in Chicago In quite some time. Will never be back or recommend to others. They do not understand their own business format better. Sat down 50 minutes after reservation and asked to wait on patio since there are only 4 bar seats (what will they do this winter?). 25 minutes for drinks ordered 3 times before correct. Waitress offered complimentary appetizers that seemed to never arrive, but two well level pints of soju arrived(which no one was drinking so it did t really apply). Specifically requested to have check moved to table and that the party of 8 would not be closing out twice. They tried to force us to close and had to bring manager I to conversation before backing down. Ordered fried chicken, dumplings, shishitos to start. Entered included pork belly, marinated short rib, shrimp with Brussel sprouts and mushrooms on the side. Entree sides come out 10 minutes before entree that kind you needed to cook for another 15 minutes on table. AS sides get cold I finally request entrees. I could t quite make out if I was supposed to cook or the server was to, but I seem to ha e got out to work while I watched other servers assist (while my pork belly burned). Did not bring any sauces until requested. One single toilet for men as no one checked the bathroom stall for the 3 hours we were there. No flow to this place and will likely be the 3rd failed restaurant in 4 years. Food was decent and enjoyed dumplings, short rib be scallion pancake. Honestly food wasn’t allowed to show due to poor service and execution.
Overpriced Korean bbq and not very authentic. Seems like they made the flavors more American-friendly like less garlic and less spices.
This restaurant is apparently under new management but former chef still involved. Busy place but well staffed and service was very good. Nice vibe. Wife and I did the $70 dinner for two. Everything was fresh and tasty. The fried veggie dumplings were excellent. Not super spicy. Too much food, even for 2 hearty appetites. Unfortunately the price fixed menu doesn’t offer the pancake, which diners all around us seemed to be really enjoying. The Korean fried chicken was ok; not quite as good as what you get at Bon Chon.
Everything was so delicious, and the service was phenomenal! Thank you so much for providing a great experience for my husband’s 28th birthday!
Waitstaff was fantastic. Food was awesome. Pretty authentic
A must try and a new gem in the neighborhood. There are no decent Korean dining in the city but now we do! They just launched happy hour which I'm excited to enjoy with coworkers. They also have a back patio area to hang and amazing list of creative cocktails that are unique. They also have amazing art all around the building and OMG Michelle OBAMA. A MUST SEE!
Fantastic experience! Food was perfect and the feast was plenty for two. Best Korean BBQ we’ve had in a long time. Will definitely be back!
AMAZING experience overall. Highly recommend! Definitely make a reservation.
We did the tasting menu and we had to ask the staff to slow it down and course it out. Incredible flavors and good portion sizes.
Great food and great service. Highly recommended.
