First time dining tonight and won’t be the last! One of our new local favs.
Great service with complimentary valet. Wanted to try lamb chops but they weren’t available. Would go again
Great service, wonderful ambiance with the outdoor seating, and all the food we had was outstanding.
Our waiter Rich was attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. Thanks.
We had an awesome dinner last night. Nick was a great waiter- the service was outstanding. The Utz crusted halibut was delicious and the rack of lamb perfectly cooked. We will be back for sure!
Great food and service. Will be back.
The atmosphere is light, airy, and natural - contemporary but warm. The staff were perfectly professional but human. Interactions were easy and real. The drinks were outstanding - the bourbon drink (Silent ___?___) might be the best cocktail in Baltimore. The food was obviously procured and prepared with great care, skill, and pride. Miles above any other dining experience in Towson, and among the top five in all of Baltimore County and Baltimore City combined.
My wife and I visited Perennial to celebrate our 2nd anniversary and the manager and staff went above and beyond! It was our first time dining here and the ambiance was so nice and inviting. We sat on the covered patio and really enjoyed the fresh air, tons of natural greenery and modern decor. It was a bonus to have complimentary valet especially being 8months pregnant, I couldn’t imagine having to park elsewhere and walk over. The food was great, must try the crab cakes and Cajun chicken pasta, delicious! The manager gifted us celebratory desserts and even freshly picked flowers right from their in house garden. It was amazing how attentive she was and our waiter was very friendly. I’ve never been anywhere where my response as to the reason for our reservation was so highlighted and made to feel so special. We will definitely be back.
Still has kinks despite excellent food and decor. Freezing AC. Missing Bernais sauce on the steak we ordered. Didn’t get a cupcake with a candle even when we told the waiter it was my birthday. Computer crash prevented us from paying. Had to wait 35 minutes with no recompense.
Any restaurant under Atlas group really does not miss! Great ambiance and the food is amazing. We love to sit at the bar and ask the bartender to make their best cocktail. Our bartender was amazing and cocktails were yummy! Slightly pricey but worth every penny.
Food was great and decor and restaurant is beautiful. However, it was SO loud that we couldn’t understand our server, and if you sat in any of the booths, the tabletop height of the dining tables was so tall it was uncomfortable. All in all a nice meal, but not sure it’s entirely worth the higher prices.
Food was very good. Dishes did not have extra, unnecessary flair.
Very slow service - a 2 course meal w/ one round of drinks took 2hr 15 min
Very loud acoustic singer / music volumes made at table speaking hard
While we had a reservation for weeks, and we showed up on time, were told we could only sit outside (on a 80+ degree evening / humid / no fans or air movement)
Overall, very hard to justify the prices vs experience.
Fabulous food. Love the outside seating area. Valet parking super convenient. Drink selection is a tad limited (only one flavored vodka) but food is superb- EAP the utz encrusted halibut. The basil ice cream is amazing.
Besides the cuisine being outstanding, the remodeling that was done to make this the new Perennial Restaurant was lavish and very well done. Put it all together and you've got one fantastic restaurant!!
Girls night out! We all were Cunningham’s fans and Perennial did not disappoint. Menu selections were well prepared, beautifully presented and so delicious!! Service was perfect.
Very loud, too loud to make conversation. The people at the outdoor courtyard bar were sitting at the window next to our table with their backs to us. It was like they were at our table. When we are spending top dollar for a meal, i do not appreciate looking at young men and women in shorts and flip flops.
Service was slow and spotty. We were seated in a timely fashion…a waiter immediately plopped 3 slices of bread on our table with a glass of beer, which we had not ordered. Food was good, but not outstanding. Our dessert never came. We tracked down our waitress to get our check. In all defense, we should have asked to be moved to a better table. Perhaps this restaurant doesn’t cater to people my age, however I do enjoy eating out and having fun.
Took my partner here for date night. Service was nothing less than amazing. The food was SUPERB and deliciously OUTSTANDING. April was an amazing host, she was very helpful.
Best service and most amazing taste. The fried lobster tail was such an amazing experience.
Overall experience was excellent !
So we Loved Cunningham’s … so now the caesar salad is one third the size… pizzas are smaller and my mushroom pizza was burnt on the top.
This is our third visit to you… I found the “beet salad lacking beets… when u only shave 3 shavings … looks pretty but lacking flavor. Not enough beet to even savor the taste.
My husband ordered a burger this week with bacon … the bacon was more like raw pork belly…. He ordered the burger medium and it came well done.
I think there is some tweeking that needs to be done.
Fried lobster was soooo good! Also, both fish dishes were outstanding. Thx
I would recommend. The ambiance is beautiful. It feels like spring. I had an early dinner on a Tuesday. So service was swift and it wasn’t loud. There was a live guitarist playing in the Courtyard bar area. I enjoyed the music. The food was good. The crab risotto could’ve been more savory. It was a little too sweet for my liking. I absolutely loved the basil ice cream dessert! I would dine again.
Great experience! Cole mixes up a delicious Red Herring, one of the best drinks in Baltimore. Langley was fantastic with service, she was a lot of fun and very knowledgeable. Food, was phenomenal. We recommend the fried lobster and the crab risotto. Everything really was great. We’ll be back.
The space is lovely, particularly the outside area where we were seated. That said, we were there on a Saturday night and the music played by the on-site DJ was so loud that we couldn’t carry on a conversation, which made our experience much less enjoyable. The food was fine, but not excellent or memorable.
We had a great server and the establishment is beautiful. However, I typically go to new restaurants in DC at the same price range or more and for the price, it’s not worth it in my opinion. I would definitely go back for drinks but not for the food.
Unfortunately it was so loud that my parents wanted to leave before we finished eating.
The interior & exterior space is beautiful but very loud. Difficult to converse. Not sure if they are trying for a lively bar atmosphere or fine dining. Drinks took forever and service was ok. Waitress was awkward but well-intentioned. They totally missed our appetizer order and brought it out after we said something, which was after our they had served our salads. The tomato and ricotta appetizer was delicious, as was the corn and crab bisque. The Bronzino was underwhelming and overcooked. The pork chop had potential but it too was over cooked. We are really pulling for Perennial to find their groove and work out the kinks! It is a much needed addition to the Towson dining scene.
ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL. Worth the hefty bill $$$$
Overall not impressed and surprised by all the high reviews. Interesting ideas for the small plates but flat in execution. We tried the lobster tail, tuna crudo, and marinated shrimp. For our entrees, My fiancé got the halibut and I the bronzino. Both were overcooked. The bronzino came with a pepperoni romesco sauce, which sounded peculiar right off the bat but I decided to be adventurous. My suspicions were warranted, as the pepperoni completely overpowered the chili and garlic in the romesco, making the dish taste like a pepperoni, fish pizza role. Also, the bronzino was served skin face down on the plate, making it soggy.
They were obviously very overwhelmed - went on a Thursday night and drinks took a very long time time, actually had to send back the second round. Overall the atmosphere was great but my meal was very over salted (the 12pz pork chop). Would try one more time after they have some time to get everything in order and can be less overwhelmed.
Newly opened still some service kinks to work out. Food was excellent but took quite a long time to receive drinks. Bar and servers were overwhelmed but suspect that will ease with time.
GET THE FRIED LOBSTER!!!! Such an enjoyable bday evening! Will be back! Service was amazing too!
We've all heard the expression, "You get what you pay for." This is very true at Perennial. While a bit on the pricey side, the food was extraordinary. The fried lobster is a must, the Halibut is tender and light, the pork chop was done to my request and had a delicious sauce. Brian was an outstanding server who allowed us to take our time but was always there when needed. We have been twice since it opened and plan to go again. If I had to be picky, the French fries were a bit salty, but other than that meals to remember. A most welcome addition to the neighborhood.
Perennial is outstanding In every facet .They are going to do great
The food is outstanding. The only down side at all is the bar service is slow. The food comes out quickly, but you are waiting for your drinks. My wife has been there twice, once with friends, and once together, with slow bar service both times. That said, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is great!
Excellent service by our server Lauren. My husband got the lobster entree, he loved it. I got the pork chop, was over cooked despite chef recommendation at medium.
Ambiance was beautiful, craft cocktails were original and diverse. Good for special occasions but pricey.
Food, service (Michael was fantastic), atmosphere, and drinks were amazing! Such a great spot to go casual and hang out or dressed up for a night out. So excited to have a place like this, and with all the qualities that you expect and appreciate from an Atlas restaurant, here in Baltimore County. This will definitely be our new go to place.
The food was very delicious and flavorful. The drinks were aesthetically pleasing and fresh. Good ambiance and you can’t go wrong with complimentary valet!
Cunningham’s was great, but Perennial is exceptional! Well done Chef Jay.
