We had to go from our full service table to place and order at the bar. The server walked past us 3 times without even acknowledging that we were there. Once we received our order it was cold and not worth the hefty price. When the bill arrived they had charged us for an extra appetizer and 2 or 3 cocktails which we didn’t have. Although it is a beautiful view from the rooftop, the lack of service prevents me from recommending or going again.
Peregrine was hopping and busy on probably the most gorgeous evening of the year! The food was not spectacular and a bit overpriced but the breathtaking view and sunset were worth it. My waitress was being run off her feet and so the food was a bit slow, but she was sweet, friendly, and apologetic. A fantastic place for a sunset cocktail!!
We made a reservation for lunch and when we got there they were not serving lunch. No one contacted us to let us know so we wasted a trip to the restaurant.
Drinks took too long and the quality of the specific drinks was disappointing. I took friends from out of town to see the view and have a high quality experience. We left disappointed.
I saw Peregrine listed as a great rooftop experience in Savannah. It looked lovely in photos. I was completely underwhelmed. The service was slow, the drinks were just okay and the food (although I knew the menu was limited) was nothing you couldn’t get at Aldi. The view was nice but it was very pricey for not much. Flat bread wasn’t flatbread, it was slices of toast, albeit good toast? Just meh.
Beautiful view of historic Savannah. A must go for the views and ambiance. The cocktails were great as well but it did take us over 30 minutes to get them as well as any water to drink.
Hannah was fabulous! Great service and great view.
A must visit for an amazing view of Savannah. I enjoyed that they had a separate space for those Covid conscious and wanting to enjoy outdoor space and not be next to the bar crowd. My sever Stormie was so sweet. Cocktails delicious. The manager Pablo was super friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be back with friends and out of town guests.
We had a blast! Their rooftop had an amazing view of Savannah and they had a great frozen peach Bellini! We just had appetizers - the cheese board and chips and salsa and it was a great small lunch before saving for a bigger dinner that evening! Great service!
Waited 30 minutes, got zero service so we left.
Server took a while to come and get my order. Margarita were okay. The best part was the view and being offered a blanket since it was cold.
I absolutely loved the view here! Stunning rooftop ambience. I wish I could say the same for the service. We had a reservation and hostesses were great. I can’t say the same fir the bar staff. Bartenders looked right at me and ignored me. If you are not staying at the hotel, don’t come here. Guests get preferential treatment. Visitors have to wait until guests get their drinks first. Sorry I can’t write a better review for this beautiful place. Would not return. Needless to say, we didn’t stay for dinner...
Beautiful views of Savannah. Selections limited (scotch) and under staffed during busy hours.
Outstanding view of the city. Would be great at night!
Wonderful mid morning spent. Beautiful view and the service was OUTSTANDING!
The view is beautiful. If you don’t mind the sun, ask for the back right corner table. The drinks are decent.
The bartender Tyler made us espresso martinis that were extremely delicious and was very attentive/jovial. Thanks for making the bachelorette a good experience!
We went on a chilly night in January during COVID, but they had spaced out outdoor seating with heat lamps and blankets at the table. The drinks were excellent and the food was good, coming out piping hot. The menu is a little small, but it’s more than made up for by the view and cocktails.
We arrived on time, were told to pick out a seat. We sat for at least 20 minutes -with no one coming to help. And, the restaurant was empty - when a menu was finally presented we were not asked if we would like a drink, he just walked away. So we walked away too.
I love the Peregrin and always make a point to bring friends who are visiting Savannah to this spot for one of the best sunset views in the city. The cocktails are always delicious, especially on a hot summer day. Overall it's a little bit of a pricier bar (like $6 for a bottle Miller Lite and a cocktail is usually $11-$13), but it's worth it for the view. I appreciate that they're social distancing the tables and the reservations are helping with that.
We are so glad you enjoyed your time with us and hope to have you back soon!
Absolutely stunning views of Savannah, the perfect spot to enjoy the sunshine and the city. Service was subpar and food was okay, but the ambiance was wonderful. Come to enjoy the location.
We are very sorry you were not pleased with the service. At your convenience, please contact us so that we may speak with you about your experience.
We loved the view and the gas fire kept us warm and Covid safe.
We are so glad you enjoyed your visit!
Amazing for drinks and apps
My friend and I are not picky customers, but this night we spent at Peregrin was really not so juicy. The biggest issue is nobody ever cared to serve us from the beginning to the end. We ended up going to the bar to order by ourselves. Our food came without utensils nor care from the bartender either. When we asked for the utensils and bill, the server we grabbed really wasn’t listening so he had to end up running twice with a grunt. (blame us then?) Lastly, there were no greetings, goodbyes, or any sort. We would appreciate it if we could have some respect as Peregrin’s guests.
Table was ready at arrival. There was a long line for nye for people without reservations. Views of the city were gorgeous, live dueling pianos, great food.. loved it.
Virtually no service, seemingly on account of understaffing. Not the fault of any servers or bartenders, but certainly a poor reflection of the impact of these trying times - would not go back.
Honestly if I could give this place 0/0 stars I would , took about 45 min to get a Coke and Diet Coke . Rooftop view was lovely but please save your money !
The rooftop is wonderful. It took a long time to get our first drink, and we ended up asking for service. The later service was good. We had a few appetizers, but probably wouldn’t again. The chef’s board in particular was overpriced. It is a great place to go for drinks and has a nice view of the city.
Table was not ready upon arrival even though I specifically went there a half-hour prior our reservation to ensure all was set-up correctly. The hostess allowed random people to take our spot. She then gave me attitude when I expressed my concern. I also spoke with a manager in which he did at least somewhat try to help me, but still did not ask the patrons to move that arbitrarily took our spot. This is the third time something like this has happened. It seems that making a reservation doesn't make a difference and is super frustrating. I really like this rooftop and view, but the overall experience and service continues to be a challenge. For being such a nice hotel, I would expect better service.
We chose Peregrin since we loved the photos that we had seen and knew that it could offer the ambiance that we wanted. We were celebrating my best friends 46th birthday. The drinks were ok...Didn’t like that we had to ask for a cherry for an old fashioned after it arrived (pretty basic/standard ingredient for this cocktail). Service was prompt but not friendly nor engaged (usually you receive better service when someone knows you are there celebrating a birthday / special moment together). We ordered hummus and pita chips for an appetizer because the menu was limited.
We loved the views though and enjoyed our time together on a zoom call with more friends that couldn’t attend. We also appreciated the hostess at the entrance that took many great photos of us with the bird wall. We truly hope to try Peregrin again and give it a second try since we loved the location so much and know it’s potential.
We were ignored by the bar staff and wait staff for over 15 minutes despite having spoken to them twice and requesting menus— the roof was beautiful and the drinks looked good. Better service and it could be a nice spot.
Nice service
The food was horrible and cold when we received it ( $16 for 2 tacos ) . The service was really bad it seemed like our waitress forgot everything we told her. The ambiance is fantastic. Nice rooftop really just need to improve on the food and service. I don't think we will be back.
Loved our waitress stormy!! So sweet
Food was terrific, as were the cocktails! Views from the rooftop made the ambiance even better. Service was great.
Good view, the host was amazing and so was our server. The drink were good as well!
If you’re looking for a nice rooftop in Savannah look no further. We came here for drinks and apps. Drinks 10/10, we just ordered chips and salsa and it was okay.. i mean there’s not much to say about that. The salsa wasn’t all that at all, you would definitely enjoy tostinos more. I’d 100% pass on that. BUT THE AMBIENCE AND DRINKS WERE STELLAR. Perfectly social distanced, the heat lamps were on and it was just perfect. I’m so glad this kicked off our weekend.
They do NOT have their full menu available and are only serving bar foods. VERY disappointing
Beautiful setting. Food menu needs to be enhanced.
We went for drinks and appetizers before dinner. The rooftop bar is open air and seemed more COVID safe than some other restaurants. The service was very good and the drinks were interesting and delicious. The chef’s plate had delicious meats, cheeses and fruits. Overall, a very pleasant experience.
