The worst service I have experienced in the city. We placed our dinner orders and it took 2 hours for us to receive our food. The waiter told us the kitchen for backed up. We were one of 5 others parties in the restaurant.

A great meal each time we've gone to Percy Street BBQ. Not only is it BBQ, but they also pay equal attention to their side dishes (which is soo important). They have the best coleslaw I've ever eaten, yummy collard greens, and their fried cauliflower is yummy as well. On our most recent visit we brought our adult children and our grandkids. The kids menu had some great options for kids. The beer selection is unique and the staff is helpful is helping you select a beer. We couldn't eat the rest of the day -- we were soooo full!

The baroque just wasn't that good. If they improved the food, they'd really have something. Until that happens, it'll continue to come off as a half-hatched plan.

Made the mistake of going on Oscar's night. Must have been short-staffed, because it was almost an hour between appetizers and rest of the meal. We had small children so it became a problem. Food, once it arrived, was good.

The experience was extremely poor. We ordered at 5:15pm food arrived at 6:05pm. All the items that did come were dry and not the same at all. Pretty much all the tables in the half empty restaurant had issues. Didn't stop kitchen staff from hanging out with patrons out in the dining room....... I took my mom for the first time because it's usually awesome. The only saving grace was that since the manager was unwilling to address our table the supervisor intervened and took care of us. I am unsure if I'll ever go back but at least I'm not left with a completely bad taste in my mouth (literally and figuratively)

We have been to Percy Street many times, as it is my fiancé's favorite restaurant. We got there around 8:45 on Saturday night and found that it wasn't that crowded. We were seated right away, but did not get greeted by a waiter for some time. When he finally came by he took our drink and food orders and said the drinks would be right out. It took about 10 minutes to get our beers and when we finally did get them, they were warm! Couldn't complain or ask for different beers as our waiter never came back. Seriously, he didn't come back until the end of our meal. Our food was delivered by someone else. It was amazing, as always. We would have liked more to drink, but the waiter never even checked on us to see how our food came out. When we were just about finished eating he finally came over and asked how everything was. At that point we were ready for the check. We're not the kind of people who want overbearing servers. We're actually the opposite, but it would have been nice to get checked on at least once during our meal. He could have even fattened his tip by bringing us more drinks. His loss. Food was still delicious and we will definitely be back. We just hope our server is better next time.

Our meal was fantastic, I love their choices for sides and appetizers, and the main courses were delicious. Their beer menu is fantastic, both for drafts and cans. Our service was a little erratic, but that hasn't been the norm in my experience. Great option for family-style meal with friends/family. Would definitely go again.

The food was very good but the portions given were paltry. I would have expected a barbecue house to be very heavy on the barbecue. The amount of brisket and pulled pork we received with our three meat combo was pitiful. The meat is supposed to be the star, but in this entree it was barely noticeable. The portions of sides were appropriate. That being said, the barbecue and sauces were very good, just not enough of it for the price.

Food was good and our waitress was excellent. My daughter and I were spending some much needed time together and the atmosphere was perfect. Lot's to look at and talk about. We has apps of chicken wings (only ok), I had a brisket dinner and she had a sandwich. Everything was delicious as were the beans and cole slaw. I think my favorite was the corn bread served in a small cast iron frying pan. The waitress brought us some chocolate pudding that just perfect. We also tried several of the craft beers and all were good. We are already planning on going back again with the whole family. Can't wait!

Overall the meal was ok. We ordered wings for an appetizer and the order never came. I ordered chopped brisket sandwich and it tasted overcooked and burnt. I ordered biscuit with jelly and cornbread, both delicious! My husband ordered Pork belly sandwich. That was very good. I would order that if we returned.

Percy Street was ok. Ribs and Brisket were
good. Cornbread and deviled eggs were so-so. High pricing for drinks. Not sure if I'd go back.

It was a quiet night, not particularly busy. That said the food as usual was great. The ribs still the best in town. The burnt ends beans very good. Pecan pie really good. By the time we left the place was filling up.

My adult son was in from CA. and we wanted to do something on South St. I found Percy St. and we both loved it. Possibly the MOST tender brisket I've ever had (I tasted my son's) and I had really good, dry rub, ribs that were meaty, moist and flavorful before sauce. The Collards were excellent, flavorful and still had, just a little crunch left to them. The baked beans were real good also. My son had a Coconut, Chocolate Lager that smelled like a Pina Coloda and he said was wonderful! The staff was wonderfully quirky, friendly and efficient. This is a "good call"!

Their signature fries (with the cheese and shredded brisket) were awesome! But I felt the rest of my meal fell short ...I got the ribs and they weren't tender at all and pretty fatty with almost no meat...which is weird to me for a BBQ place ...I enjoyed the cornbread (get a side of the honey butter) ...my boyfriend had the BBQ pulled pork sandwich..said the pork was delicious but the bread was a whimsy roll and wouldn't hold the sandwich ...can't really tell if I'll be back or not ...maybe just for the fries ?! Haha

I was underwhelmed by the food the menu is limited, the portions were small and in my opinion not worth the price. There could have been more vegetable choices for a side dish.

The restaurant was EXTREMELY COLD - having a problem with their heating, we were told. The food was all fine, but there were few stand-outs. We especially enjoyed the biscuits, turkey wings appetizer and fried cauliflower. Between the "Lockhart" sampler and three entrees, we were able to sample most of the menu. The chopped brisket was dry, the sliced brisket better. The BBQ fries appetizer was not worth getting, but the seasoned fries side were great.

This place is slipping a bit. The brisket is way overpriced - $21 for about 5 thin slices. I ordered the leaner cut and it was very dry. Tasty enough but needed a lot of sauce. The collard greens were very good, though. The decor is looking a little shabby. I got a splinter in my thigh from the long bench in the dining room. Fantastic beer list. Basically, I'll come here for happy hour.
