I really wanted this to be Terriffic, alas it was serviceable. My most needed feature for the day's pre-matinee luncheon was location, and for that it was perfect...a ten!! So, just for a drink before or after a performance at any of the Avenue of the Arts/ Broad Street venues it should be okay. Good simple wine list, extensive beer list, some interesting sounding entre offerings, but we chose main dish salads. Greens were overly wet, and unnessarily cold, with watered down or very light dressing. My partner ordered cranberry juice which was also watered down by ice. Maybe another day, another time, another menu...

I had been to the Perch Pub on two previous occasions, but only ever ordered drinks and "snacks". Those had been great so I decided to try for dinner this time. My food was delicious! Got the Italiano sandwich and it was really good. Comes with a house salad, but I substituted that for Caesar salad which was also good. Was a yummy filling meal. The Malanga Chips with garlic aioli dip are really good- I've gotten them all three times that I have been here now. The place was packed on a Thursday night so I am glad that I made a reservation. The other two times I had gone it was almost empty, but once was the day after a snow storm so that may have had something to do with it. Nice big windows and a nice view of Broad Street from the second level "perch"! Will definitely be returning to try even more menu items!

Was impressed at how quickly we were served. We didn't try their extensive beer menu, but my companion enjoyed her hard cider. Were seated by window and enjoyed the street view. Food was good.

It was good, except for the pancakes. A little dry and cake, not enough strawberries.

We had dinner here on Friday, March 4. I had the salmon dinner which was very dry. It seemed it it was sitting under the hot lights for a long while. My friend had the burger. This was a good choice. This is a burger and sandwich place NOT for real dinners. My mistake.

Was there for lunch. The food was very good. They have a nice beer list. The service was very good and friendly. However, they are on the second floor. They do not have an elevator just a spiral staircase. If you have problems with steps, you may want to go elsewhere.

The location with big windows overlooking Broad Street is fantastic. The menu offers perfect pub food, and the beer selection is excellent. Service was attentive and pleasant.

The good news about this delightful neighborhood gem is that the food ,service and overall ambiance are first rate in every respect. The bad news is that it will be closing soon so it enjoy it while it lasts. I booked my reservation through OpenTable which must hold some kind of clout with the ownership so even on a busy Sunday pre Kimmel Center engagement my partner and I were seated in one of the best tables in the house overlooking the busteling street activity below. Now, as far as the food goes there is one thing I would strongly suggest trying and that's the Philly spring rolls. They're a small version of the famous Philly cheesecakes. Served in warm baked crust they're filled with rib eye stake, sautéed onions , cheese and made to be dipped in their special house made spicy ketchup. Absolutely delicious ordered as an appetizer. A variety of main course dishes are offered . We selected the grilled angus meatloaf , home made mashed potatoes along with fresh veggies and the fish and chips platter. Both excellent choices. A small but decent desert menu is available to top off your meal. There's no lacking in the variety of liquid libations available and the place prides itself in the many different brews of beer on tap. You shouldn't leave thirsty. I urge you visit this establishment before it fades into a distant memory, you won't be sorry you did.

Great beer selection. Food was excellent. View and location is great. Only problem is slow service; looked like not enough wait staff for the crowd. Recommend it for the things I mentioned but not if you're in a hurry to get in and out. Worth the wait if you have the time.
