   Wonderful food and service! It was a little difficult to find once you arrive at property. You have to walk through terrace area to get to restaurant. Also, we dined upstairs. Ask when you arrive whether you are dining upstairs, because there was some confusion at first. Great experience overall!

   Ambiance was beautiful…sat out on the patio and watched the sun go down. Oksana was the perfect waiter…very helpful but let us order at our own pace. Food was delicious. Must get the scallops for a starter…excellent. My husband and I really enjoyed the whole fish and mahimahi. Key lime pie for dessert…yum! Oh, and i almost forgot…best Maitai cocktail I’ve had this side of Hawaii!😋 Valet service should also be commended for their efficient service!

   We sat outside. It was a beautiful view overlooking the Gulf. Our waitress Oxsana was wonderful, just prompt and attentive without being overbearing. The food was delicious, we had garlic shrimp, scallops, fried snapper and Mahi.

   Perch was fantastic. The view was very pretty. My partner and I both got the manhattan strip that came with the potatoes. Best we’ve ever had. We got the fruit tart for dessert and it was also delicious. We cleaned our plates! Service was also wonderful, Will was great and next year we would like to see him again if possible.

   Ambience was biggest issue setting is wonderful, building is well done. Choice of music and volume was horrendous for a fine restaurant and then to be told to take a poll of other guests if you want it changed I would enjoy going back because it is a somewhat unique setting along the gulf but only after I know they have learned how to operate a nice restaurant

    My salad was a little soggy but, but the Caesar dressing had good flavor other than that. Seared scallops were excellent. Out of the Talley Chardonnay, but had an acceptable substitute. Server acted a little uninterested in our table. Beautiful setting and perfect weather.

    From valet parking in a storm to a delicious meal to enjoying after dinner drinks of Irish coffee and Espresso martini on the deck around the fire pit, it was a wonderful dining experience. We knew the prices were considered fine dining, so that wasn’t a surprise. Starting with vidalia onion soup, shrimp cocktail, onion rings and wedge salad, we then enjoyed entrees of swordfish, chicken, mushroom pappardelle, seared scallops and filet mignon. It was all delicious and presented beautifully. Will served us well! Although the view post storm wasn’t as pretty as we’d hoped, the ambience was still conducive to good conversation. We highly recommend Perch.

    Gorgeous waterfront dining with and exceptional menu. My husband had the octopus and I had the daily local fish (wahoo). Both were superb. The staff was wonderfully attentive and very helpful. This is definitely a restaurant that we will frequent when returning to the area!

    Went for anniversary. It’s become a tradition! The menu is always impeccable. The food is cooked to perfection. They made a fish-lover out of me! I sincerely recommend the ponzu-glazed gulf fish! You can make a reservation on OpenTable or walk in. You feel comfortable dressing casually and a little dressed up.

    Steak was VERY fishy tasting, some potatoes were very undercooked and crunchy(in a bad way) as a reult of that. Veggies weren't seasoned well. Service and ambiance carried this place 100%.

    Everything about Perch is 5 stars. The ambience is beautiful. We sat outside and enjoyed cocktails around the fire pit. Our table had views of the ocean. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and gave us great recommendations. The food was amazing. We will definitely be back.

    What a treasure to have in the Lodge! Outstanding meal. Had Octupus, Gulf Fish, Oysters and scallops oh, and the Cream of Vidalia Onion Soup was AMAZING! Highly recommend.

    Not so much a review as a lack of common sense by the hostess. Party of two, we made reservations for 7 pm Sunday, 4/16. We opted to sit inside because of the wind factor outside. Hardly anyone dining indoors while we were there, yet the hostess sat us at a table facing the doors to the kitchen.

    Love love love this place - started outside with a cocktail at the fire pit and ocean view. Ended up at a high top because my space got invaded (I okayed it so shame on me) by 20-somethings who were very chatty. Needless to say, the sweet host Whitney found me a high top, and I DOVE into the soup (Cream of Vidalia - so yum!!!) then followed by a recommendation from my server Barbara with the dang Tomahawk Porkchop. It was bigger than my face -loaded with flavor- coupled with Brussels which I loved, too. But this meal was about the meat - PERFECTION! Locals, run, don't walk. Tourists, make your reservation. I'll be back to try the seafood tower (for 2-4) soon!!!

    Our reservation was 1pm. We arrived taken to a table and dropped off. We waited for 10-15 but no one came to our table. So instead of enjoying, we had to wonder “How does this work” we went and got a Bloody Mary’s. The bartender rushed us though- where to get our coffee and the buffet was self-explanatory. By the time we ate I went back for my next plate and the real food was being taken down. Very disappointed and won’t be attending again.

The Cash bar and buffet were available until 3 pm. I personally sat every reservation, I explained to everyone how the buffet worked. At the time we broke down the buffet, there were only 2 tables, and I personally went to the tables before I gave the order to remove the food. I am disappointed to find out about this through Open Table.
