The food was excellent, the ambiance was great. Its perfect for date night, meetings, family. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Large group dinner (15 people), food was fantastic. Service was okay, not spectacular but not awful. They wanted to charge us $4 per person to bring out a birthday cake that we brought, we all felt that was a bit penny wise pound foolish given that we each had 5-6 drinks and ordered a ton of food. Left a bad taste in our mouth, would think a manager would comp that charge given the size of our party and amount we ordered. That fact alone will likely ensure we don’t return. Food was excellent tho. Bad call as a a manager in hospitality, lost thousands in future business over a minor detail.
Food was excellent
I had an excellent experience, Thank You
Excellent place 😃
Valentine’s Day birthday
All is great, awesome date spot. Only wish if the food portions were a bit bigger.
Everything was great. Our server was Benjamin and he was excellent.
Food seemed cheap, old, and microwaved. The entrie place had a weird moldy smell and did not seem very clean.
The price for the restaurant week menu was not worth it. Definitely overpriced and no pita was provided at the first place. We need to ask the waiter for pita even though we already ordered hummus. The ambiance is cute, but the food is just average.
I called at the last minute and spoke to Mellisa to make a Rez for 8. Well 8 turned into 10, then 12 then 13! Mellisa was amazing!!!
So was our waiter I didn’t get his name he gave us excellent service and remained calm while my colleague (who is famously fussy and particular) decided on what wine she was going to drink! Oh and we bright cupcakes to celebrate another colleagues birthday and it was handled splendidly!! This was my first time at Pera SoHo, I will definitely be back!
Came here for restaurant week. Service and food was great!
We came here for winter restaurant week of 2020. We purely trusted the ratings and reviews but I must say that it was the biggest mistake. It is so overrated and not sure for what reason. While I must note that service was great, the food did not meet the expectations that we had from the hype of 4.5 star rating on yelp. While the experience wasn’t completely terrible, I just wish I chose a different place to have that pre-fix 3 course dinner.
Second time here, second great meal here. We didn't even realize that it was restaurant week, and that menu was perfect, with a couple of additional treats!
The cocktail with bourbon and muddled figs was absolutely delicious (what's not to like?!). We shared an appetizer of labneh, thick and creamy, with some lovely complementary spice on top. Then, off the restaurant week menu, we shared the tomato/eggplant soup and a fantastic lentil quinoa salad that had all kinds of goodies like nuts and fruit in it.
We had mushroom gnocchi and Macedonian chicken (comes with rice pilaf) for our entrees. Dessert is a small plate with a tiny square of pistachio baklava and a little chocolate cup of chocolate mousse. I added a cup of mint tea.
Gracious service, and the maitre d' gave us a choice to sit in the main (busy!) room or the back dining room where in an hour or so there'd be a large party but meanwhile it was private and quiet. We really appreciated that.
Great food and service. Salon is to die for. Only wish we didn’t feel rushed talking over a meal- they brought out entrees before we’d even finished appetizers
Great for large parties. Amazing service!
Waiters seriously need to work on their bedside manners, they were so disgusted that we were there despite the fact that it was January and literally 75% of the restaurant was empty. Food was great, but I doubt I'd be returning because service was so sub par
Brought my friends visiting from London
We was there for the new year’s celebration. The service was very good, the food just OK.
Food mediocre. Not busy. We expected better when in NYC.
Fantastic food! All of us were very happy with our meals. The roasted carrots were stupendous As was the bronzino and the Macedonian chicken.
Can’t wait to return!
The food here was amazing. Can’t wait to go back.
Truly love this place! Food, Service, everything is awesome! Definitely going there again.
Thanksgiving - turkey looked like slabs of white meat and dry. Had gnocchi instead - meh! The rest of my party had the red snapper and said it was very good. Pumpkin soup tasted like it came out of a can and super thick. Two of our party liked the fruit dessert. It was berries buried in loose cream. Way too sweet.
I would not come back to this establishment. Way too expensive for an unsatisfactory pre-fix meal. The staff and waiters were lovely. They were actually the best part of the experience.
Wonderful! Great service and great food! Will definitely be going again.
There wasn’t a lunch crowd this particular day but the food was so good! Among our party of 5 there were 3 or 4 apps, 4 different entrees and a few sides. All were delicious.
This was quite possibly the worst food I’ve ever eaten. As a native New Yorker, I’ve eaten at my fair share of places. Some were good and some less good. This place was TERRIBLE! Like a travesty that the health department lets it stay open. The humus was crusty and the rest of the food completely flavorless. The gnocchi was overly hard and nauseating. To top it off, we were appalled when the bill came and it was many times what a normal meal would have costed. PUNCH LINE: Don’t go here!!!!!
Great diverse menu- satisfied all our picky eaters. Desserts were especially amazing!
We really enjoyed dining here. Portions were of a good size and had a great combination of flavors.
the menu was interesting, our meals were delicious and the semi-outdoor setting was perfect
Not great quality food. Not great service. Unfortunate
Had a great time, the food was amazing!
Fantastic experience, great service and outdoor seating makes all the difference. Awesome place.
Amazing food, great atmosphere. Slow and confusing service, terrible bathroom situation. Only one for men and women, with men using urinals. Awkward for all involved.
Birthday. Lack of attention toward the end.
Food was amazing!
We were late and only had 50 minutes for brunch, but
Amazing patio, great ambience and good food. We were celebrating a birthday brunch and had a great time.
Outdoor seating is loud and crowded on weekends...indoor can be same if seated near a large table. Service is pleasant and food good if a little pricey. We did ‘tapas style’ as there were so many good appetizers and sides, rather than entrees. Also enough vegetarian options that way. Overall pleasant dining if somewhat noisy.
