Love Pera Soho! Brunch menu is excellent and a great deal for $25 incl. brunch cocktail. Everyone loved their food, and the place itself has a nice atmosphere. We were seated next to quite a rowdy group, that was the only downside. But overall we had a great experience, and the service was very friendly and professional. I also *love* Pera in the summer when the terrace is open, it's such a great spot in Soho.
Great NYE find in the heart of SoHo. We’ll be back for sure.
Alle 21,30 ci è stato presentato il conto senza averlo chiesto
Abbiamo domandato un dessert e ci è stato risposto che la cucina aveva chiuso
Cibo troppo salato e speziato
Great place.. Great service. Will definetly return again.
We had a great time but there was 1 thing that bothered us. When asking to change a dish (vegetables instead of beans) we were charged 9$ but where not told of this charge until we received the bill.
Don’t come here. Service is atrocious, food is mediocre. Apps arrived after mains, server disappeared for the last 40 minutes of our meal. We had to track down another one to get our check, and go to the bar to give our cards to someone. Food was subpar, prices were on the high end for the neighborhood. Skip it and go elsewhere.
This was my second visit to Pera. I returned because the food, service, & atmosphere are wonderful. My first visit was for a business dinner in a private dining room. I will admit the restaurant was full to capacity and VERY noisy. This was my only hesitation in visiting for our anniversary. However, as it was Thanksgiving weekend (and most restaurants are slow) the dining room was what it is meant to be quiet, elegant and well seated. The food and service were fabulous.
I enjoyed Pera Soho a lot. I found the service to be excellent with very friendly and knowledgeable staff. The food was absolutely delicious and very creative. The flavors really explode in this place. I also liked that my date and I could linger around and eat our meal slowly and enjoy our drinks. I often times feel very rushed at many NYC restaurants. Very relaxed atmoshphere.
The only downside was that they sit us not in the main room.
The service was terrible. With an almost empty restaurant, there should be no reason as to why we would not be checked on or why our food was delayed. We had to walk up to the hostess to close our bill.
The food was cold. It was clear the turkey meatballs and cauliflower were frozen and not thawed out. Never returning again. Awful experience.
Mix of various Mediterranean cuisines including Turkish. Lively atmosphere and service was exceptional. Also very good option for Gluten Free dining.
The food was good but the service from
The waiter was horrible. We were in a cozy room and after our Maincourse arrived, our waiter didn’t re-appear for sometime. We even had to flag him down for dessert. One of the desserts was questionable and since he never checked back, The recipient of the desert asked for feedback from the other guests. By the time we flagged him down and told him the desert had curdled, he told us we ate, and said this very rudely. There was no customer service saying, I’m sorry can I get you another one or can I Compu accordingly! Then we never saw the waiter again and somebody else brought us our bill and thanked us for coming Certainly terrible customer service from this restaurant!
Pera Soho has a wonderful atmosphere and friendly service. My friend and I chose to try several small plates instead of a main meal. The zucchini balls were my favorite. The octopus was also very good. The food overall is good, not great.
Delicious food! We all had a great time. However, all the food (apps, mezzes, and entrees) were all brought out at once. I didn't love that as our entrees got cold while we ate our apps. Also, it took a while for the food come out and we asked for bread in the meantime and they said they didn't have any breads/pitas/etc.
Service and food was great. We come here for wonderful food and dinners with friends and business clients.
Great service from server Liza food was outstanding definitely we will be back
Food and atmosphere is absolutely amazing. Would recommend to couples!
It was such an interesting menu that we ordered several sides and appetizers. Everything we tried was delicious - grilled artichokes, fries, kale, salad, lamb. Service was excellent. We were there for lunch and sat on the patio - just delightful!!!
Great to meet friends for drinks and small plates on the patio!
Service and foods were perfect, still it the best turkish gourmet kitchen in town.
Amazing and Mohammad was amazing and the manager went around asking if everything was okay and if he could get anything... will deff come back and recommend
Terrible service with moderate noise and long wait
Portions small, my salad has 3 pieces of spinach.
Had dinner with friends at Pera Soho the other night. We were a group of 7 and spent some time at the bar for Happy Hour before sitting. Excellent service at the bar and at the table.
Interesting eclectic food with a Middle Eastern slant. Lamb appetizer, hummus with pastrami, salmon, branzino and steak frites were all excellent. Everyone was happy with food and service.
I will recommend and return.
Had an amazing time. Would definitely go back in the future.
Horrible service and food. We waited a long time for our dinner, and the food came out cold. We ordered more appetizers instead since the manager said it would only take 5 mins. After 30 mins of waiting, we asked for the check. We then saw the waitress send away our appetizers. They weren’t even willing to give the appetizers to us after how horrible dinner was.
The service was extremely slow and inattentive (appetizers - dips - took 30 mins to arrive). The food was unsophisticated and salty; good taste, but not worth the price tag.
Solid food - got a few of the Mezze and they were very good. Solid meal for two under 50 - can't complain
Amazing food, the muammara is a must and som is the steak. The spinach pasta was a huge miss though.
Chicken entree was great, but didn’t enjoy the branzino. The service was not good like many others have said.
Thoroughly enjoyed my experience here with my mom. Thinking of doing my birthday in one of the private rooms.
The waiter told a that the kitchen was closed even though we had a reservation at 9.45 PM. The maitre solved it and the dinner was great.
It was a beautiful afternoon and we ate on the patio - it was a fantastic ambiance. The food was amazing I loved the salad I ordered. I added grilled chicken and that was the best part!! It was delicious.
Great place for a large group of 9 looking for a casual brunch at the last minute. The speciality is steak...but skip that. Stick to the more ethnic dishes...veggies and lamb were pretty amazing.
Drinks are ok...nothing special but they have bottomless drinks for brunch which is nice if you're looking for that sort of thing.
Uninspiring food, period. Get a new chef!
Nice outdoor courtyard dining, friendly service, good mezcal cocktail & rose wine, terrible food...everything ordered was below average. Food didn’t taste fresh, dishes were overcooked, arrived lukewarm/cold (as if it had been prepared, reheated, & sat for awhile before being served), & lacked flavor. Dips were odd permeations of labne & babaganoush (smoked eggplant didn’t resemble that at all). Sirloin steak overcooked & fries undercooked. Baby lamb chops also overcooked. Side of kale & spinach had no flavor.
Service was awful. Took over an hour and a half for a simple one course lunch. When we asked about our food nobody knew anything. Three people ordered Salmon and were asked how they like it cooked and when it was served they didn't even pretend to have remembered that or actually cook it the way people ordered it. I would not go back.
Nice atmosphere and food was really good.
Jose the server was awesome!
Food was pricey!
We were disappointed in the menu and food. Lamb Adana appetizer was ok, too much wrap on it, not nearly as good as the Adana at the Madison Ave location. My lamb chops were good tasting but very fatty. Much prefer Midtown which is one of our favorites.
