It was good - not as good as expected. The music was loud.
There was hair in my salad! That’s all I’m going to say !
The food was excellent and the setting is beyond cute. It is now on my list.
Was fabulous and welcoming!
The food, service and ambiance were exceptional. My waiter gave me a recommendation since it was my first time and then suggested the restaurant week menu. Yes you’re in the middle of the city but this spot brings you someplace else. Simply lovely.
The food although small in portions was big in flavor. Our experience was lovely from beginning to the end. We stayed almost 3 hrs and the servers and staff were perfect.
I enjoyed every bit of it.
Great food. beautiful decor. great service.
Our waiter was not very friendly or engaging
I am a vegan and he did not help me with the menu
When I asked questions he was very vague
He also rushed us
food was great, mishmash of mediterranean flavors in a lively patio with buzzing music.
Got a great table on the patio on a beautiful evening. Server was a little slow to get to us at first, but after that service was good. Good food—not out of the park, but a solid triple. Shared a bunch of small plates and some hummus, so got to sample a variety. Ambiance is fun and social. A nice place to start the night.
Beautiful location. Very nice waiter. Food was good but a little pricey for what we had.
The experience could have been much better. Given the weather wasn't ideal to dine outside we understand there's no control over that but the weren't that many people there for lunch to not have provided exceptional service. The server messed up quite a few times but did try to remedy each mistake. The food was not to my liking but I did want to try something different. For the amount of money I spent on three lunch meals it did not feel worth the money or trip during restaurant week. Disappointed.
We had a reservation for 2:30 and showed up 10 minutes early. Luckily we got seated, but we didn’t have a waiter show up for 15 minutes at which point I asked the hostess to please send someone over. We came specifically for the restaurant week menu (which I specified in my reservation). When we were finally able to order, they told us they were out of the Rose Sangria. Seemed strange to be out of something from the bar a Friday at 2, but we asked for the other speciality cocktail which they were ALSO out of. My friend tried ordering the lobster ravioli which they were out of as well. Why give someone a restaurant week menu when you don’t have 30% of the items without warning??! The waiters were polite but didn’t seem apologetic at all and the food was fine, but not great. Overall a horrible restaurant week experience. Which is a shame because this is how I try out the restaurants I want to frequent the rest of the year in NYC.
Loved eating outdoors under the umbrellas. Relaxing atmosphere. Came for restaurant week but would definitely come back to try other items on the menu.
Excelente muy buen servici y la comida estuvo deliciosa.
Solo no entiendo para que permiten reservaciones tarde, si cuando llegas ya va a cerrar la cocina y te apuran
Sat in the beautiful patio for brunch. I had the grilled chicken salad and my friend had the salmon eggs Benedict. Both of us had Bloody Mary. All was good. Attentive service. Nice enclosed patio off the street with lots of greenery. We will return for sure.
Great atmosphere. Great food and drinks. Servers would disappear a bit but overall great spot.
Waiter was horrible and rude as well as the manager. Imani was the only polite person there! They don’t know how to run a business and they are not courteous at all! Not to mention that the waiter took his own tip out when I paid with cash.
Mediocre food. Nice seating outdoors. Service functional but no connection or engagement.
The price is not cheap
While we arrived while Happy Hour was still in effect, they said that the Happy Hour menu was available only for people at the lounge and at the bar, while our party was sitting at the backyard.
It was actually a beautiful evening, so most of the people proffered the outdoor sitting as well.
So we were all deprived from taking advantage of the Happy Hour menu.
I think this was pretty petty.
Food was not worth the money, but otherwise ambiance was great. Service was okay, waiter seemed to disappear after awhile.
Food was great as always. Service was horrible. Took forever to come take Oder. No one ever checked on us after we received food. Wanted more wine but I guess they didn’t want us to order any. Also sat for 15 mins after we finished food. Had wanted to order something else but they never came back. I had to stop someone to request the check.
Great outdoor space to enjoy the warm weather. Food was all tasty and perfect for sharing to try multiple dishes. Fun mixed drink menu. Will definitely be back.
Service was quite bad, I was surprised. Also, the least diverse clientele I’ve ever seen in NYC.
The manager was terribly rude and made sure our party had a bad time by yelling and looking irritable. She will be the sole reason why we will never go back because she made sure we had a terrible time
The first host was quite rude, thankfully the second hostess made up for his lack of service, appropriately seating us for our reservation.
Great location and vibe - an outdoor oasis in Soho.
Food was tasty but they were out of a couple things which was frustrating.
Ended up being pretty inexpensive doing shared mezzes, even with cocktails.
Service - especially host stand - was subpar. When I arrived early for my reservation I asked if we could get an outdoor table (we were waiting for 1 more person in our 4 person party to arrive, and there were 2 4-tops outside available). She said that we’d just have to wait and see... “things can change in a New York minute!” I was not amused. The waitress also forgot one of our dishes and it was then sold out.
Loved it! Fun outdoor patio! Good prices! And strong drinks!
The service on bottomless brunch was not great
Amazing outdoor patio. Great apps and salads. Avoid the steak, kind of dry. Friendly servers!
Will definitely eat here again.
Overall a disappointment. Service was poor as our server was often absent for 15 mins at a time. She only put in a few of our items and so food came out for only 3 of 4 in our party. The fourth entree eventually came out but was incorrect and she didn’t even acknowledge it. She just disappeared again and eventually reappeared with the missing entree The appetizers came after all the entrees were served. She never said sorry for the mistake at all, just ignoring our questions. This was Sunday at 11:45 am. The restaurant was super slow and there was a ton of staff just standing around . Not clear as to why she was missing for so long. After all the food finally arrived we only saw bussers who cleared the table. The server never once came to check on us except to drop off the bill. the food was average, the only redeeming quality was the outdoor patio, but the umbrellas are not adequate to cover you from the sun.
The place is nice but the food was totally mediocre! Wanted to come here for a while and now I’m not impressed.
The ambience on the outdoor patio Was really nice and the apricot margarita was delicious but the service was inattentive and some of the good was inedible. Don’t order the calamari! It’s not even the real thing and it tastes microwaved. Go for drinks. Go elsewhere for dinner.
Great food and great brunch location during the summer
Whenever we are in NYC we get to Pera Soho. Great outdoor area, but inside has a great ambiance too. Food is always what we expect, excellent. Service is always friendly, and prompt.
My experience was absolutely terrible. The service was horrible. I went there with my parents. We sat there for half an hour without even water. My mother has celiac and has to eat gluten free. The waitress was clueless. We spoke to the manager who was of no help either. The waitress spoke to the chef after bugging the whole staff non stop and she came back to us still having no idea what she was talking about. After many failed attempts and sitting down for 45 minutes without anything, we got up and left. We went to Aquagrill. They have a gluten free menu, the best service, warm, friendly, and incredible food. I’d never ever suggest going to Pera Soho. The ambience doesn’t make up for the terrible service. I have never got up from my table at a restaurant so very upset. It was a terrible and unpleasant experience.
The ambiance was nice, but the service was not great. Our server did not attend to us very well (Took twenty minutes to order food and then when we asked for the check, that took a while, even though the restaurant was not overwhelmingly busy) and he was very rude. The food was very good, but you were not getting very much for what you paid for.
Fantastic yard, good mediterranean food, extremely slow service. Cocktail menu need to be extended.
