Great food, a little miscommunication with the server, but the situation was remedied quickly and professionally.
Grape-leaf wrapped branzino was superb! Ambiance and service is very good.
both appetizer - fresh tomato salad with feta and the Corfu style linguine were excellent, as was my Pinot Noir. since I ate all my pasta ! I regrettably did not have any more room for desert.
I will go back any time.
Wait staff was very accommodating
Loved the croquettes, smoked eggplant dip and the salmon.
Went for a late lunch. Food was delicious. Restaurant was very uncrowded to noise was not an issue. Service was very good. Would go back for the small plate menu.
The food is alright but the service is awesome . the hostess was pleasant and smiley and the waiter was very friendly other than that the food was not bad over priced for sure .
A great place for after work dinner and drinks! Delicious appetizers too
Great food, great price, great atmosphere, great evening. We were impressed with the whole evening.
great food and wonderful staff
Had never been here before so went in with unknown expectations. I can tell you though - I’ll be back! Great menu and everything we ordered was prepared perfectly. Great flavors without being overpowering and well presented. Can’t wait to be back and explore some other menu items that looked fantastic.
Good food and pleasant atmosphere. The only drawback is noise--not from the street but from other customers. When we entered, it was calm. An hour later, an entourage of 10 came in and did not seem to care that other patrons were in the restaurant. People at a neighboring table requested a move to another shot to decrease exposure to the noise. So, if you are looking for a good meal, this can be a good choice. If looking for a quiet meal, not so much.
Always good food and service. Great location. Both lunch and dinner are terrific.
The food is good but overpriced and fairly slow service.
We visited Pera this afternoon for lunch. The food was tasty but nothing extraordinary. The Pera trio dip was very good, I would have preferred pita bread rather than chips but that is personal preference. The lamb sliders were a bit dry, have tasted better. The chicken Adana roll was disappointing. Salads were very good but considering the price was a small portion. Overall it was a pleasant experience but on the expensive side.
We waited a long time for our food, but it was very good. Place was very busy, as you’d expect at lunchtime around GCT.
That rare midtown restaurant where you can enjoy a quiet, leisurely weekend meal. Tables nicely spaced, alcoves where you can have privacy. Friendly but not intrusive or waitstaff. Delicious Mediterranean food, inventive but not precious. We went for a family celebration and everyone was very happy. Go!
I cant speak for the standard menu. We went for the Mother's Day brunch. It was perfect. Appetizer and meal for $29. They also offered $19 unlimited mimosas or sangria. The four of us all ordered different meals and they were all excellent.
Lots of vegetarian selections for my friend. Grilled seafood while delicious was comprised mostly of arugula and so not a good value. Artichoke and bean appetizer proved interesting and yummy.
consistently good food, service way above average, easy and fun place to dine and close to Grand Central Station.
This was good food and we chose to go straight from Grand Central before heading to the theater district and found it an excellent choice. It may be much noisier during the work week (we were there before a Saturday evening performance) but it felt like a bit of a refuge before heading over to Times Square. The mezze (or mixed) plate (good vegetarian choice) came with delicious warm pita! Will go back for sure.
Always wonderful, food and service. I discover something new to eat everytime.
The food is always superb here. Just the best in Mediterranean food.
Food choices were excellent. Tapas and full entrees. Hummus was delicious. Nice atmosphere. Great service
Great food, handsome luxurious design, attentive service and overall enjoyable experience from reservation to check in to table to food to service to dessert to check! Can’t miss with Pera. Been here a few times over several years and the restaurant consistently delivers.
Our server was polite and professional but the food wasn’t remarkable. Nothing really special...
I didnt love it. Very noisy, the room does not absorb sound well. The hummus and crackers were not that good. I had the salad and brussell sprouts. Salad was fine, Brussell sprouts were disappointing
I’ve been to Pera several times before and LOVED it. This time the food was only so-so. I’ll go back at some point to see if my most recent experience was a fluke.
I have been to Pera Restaurant numerous times, and the food and service is always excellent! I have recommended Pera Restaurant to my friends and family.
Enjoyed the food and service. Noise level is quite high.
The waiter was great, but oddly, my guest and I ordered coffee and waiter had to apologize to us first because there were no cups and saucers, then he came back because there were no paper cups either! No idea what happened but I hope it gets sorted out because the food and service is always great.
Great food and service.
The food was excellent but not as good as their sister location in SoHo. It took in the neighborhood of 15 minutes for someone to come see us and take our drink orders, other than that the everything was great. We went before a show and don’t regret the choice one bit.
Excellent in every way! We will definitely be back!
Everything was perfect about this restaurant. It is great for business lunches in midtown.
I love this place, food, atmosphere, service. I recommend it to many friends. Cannot wait to go back.
Delicious food and lovely service. Near Grand Central so very convenient.
I took a friend who lived for 6 years in Turkey and claimed the food to be “the real deal”. He said the lamb was perfect. I had the branding wrapped in grape leaves — fantastic! Ate at the bar. Great bartender and very accommodating front of house staff.
It was just okay. The lamb was awesome but everything else was blaa... There were a few dishes i was disappointed in like the Brussels sprouts. The were boiled and tasted like mush.
