I went for restaurant week and this was a great meal! The service was outstanding and the food tastes great. Not only did we order from the RW menu but also from their regular menu. I would definitely recommend trying this place out!
Food was great. We did the restaurant week menu and paired with a bottle of red wine. The gnocchi w/ pesto was amazing. Desserts were also really good.
Beautiful place, the service, the food was great. I will definitely go back.
Service was great and the food was delicious!
Everyone was very pleasant and accommodating. The food was great and we had wine paring. My friend was 40 minutes late and the waiter was very patient.
First time dining here
Food was outstanding
Staff was amazing as they accommodated our every wish including our Covid conscience desires. Thanks for the fabulous food and service and making us feel at home!
Everything we tried was delicious, though more like fusion than specifically authentic to one region.
Muy buen servicio, comids deliciosa, buen precio y buena situación. Nos gustó mucho!
Classy, quiet option near Bryant Park and Grand Central. Wonderful food and excellent service
New Year’s Eve
Great experience on New Year Eve! Amazing service and staff!
We spent the new year eve at Pera’s.
The fixed cost menu was communicated at the time of booking.
Our dinner is scheduled for 8:30 pm.
In the middle of the dinner the manager informed us that the meat that was on the menu was out.
So another type of meat was offered to us as a substitute.
Reluctantly we accepted (what could we have done?).
Once it was time for the dessert, instead of the cheesecake I had ordered, I was offered another type of dessert (this time without even asking me) as the cheesecake was also finished.
I think this lack of professionalism is unacceptable in a place where a dinner for two cost around $ 400.
Probably very nice other than New Year. Wasn't aware of the $125 per person set menu. Wine also very overpriced. Food was very rich, nice and unusual flavours, but by 8pm they had ran out of their set dishes.
Met a friend for lunch. Great service - attentive but never rushed. Terrific food - creative but not fussy. A little pricey for a regular workaday lunch, but everyone needs to make a living!
Seated us outside under the ‘tent’ with heat lamps. Delicious food and friendly service. Recommend!
Great food and service, good value
Absolute perfection! The food the ambiance and service was top notch! Will absolutely be back!
Very upscale restaurant for a very poor elaborated menu.
Great food. Great service. Thanks
Great food, service was excellent, I would go again and highly recommend
Service was slow but ambience and food was great.
Visiting NYC and found this place with a last minute reservation on Open Table. We sat outside, which was under a tent with heaters. The food met our expectations. We especially enjoyed the Mediterranean fries.
Good meal, sampler appetizer was good and salmon entree. Good drinks as well.
The food was superb! The service was incredibly high quality as well. I ended up getting two desserts after all was said and done because the first one was so good. Everything I had was divine and I will definitely visit again whenever I am in town!
I have been to this restaurant many times and the food is always outstanding! The service was absolutely wonderful- the place was super busy and when I told the Maître d he personally came to our table to take our order and then gave us a glass of Prosecco for waiting! Pleasure/business/special occasion-it will not disappoint!!
The salmon and the octopus were fabulous as was the scallop appetizer
Given the pandemic, the experience was alright. A waiter spilled and broke a glass of water at my feet but handled the accident professionally. The salmon dish was tasty but tiny for a main dish, more like an appetizer portion. I may give the place another try but not any time soon.
Excellent experience all around!
The welcome and escort to seating was a bit cold, hostess was probably annoyed that I changed the reservation a few times but two people in my party was exposed to COVID-19. Everything else was really good the waitress was very attentive and helpful, food was great. We enjoyed the overall experience and would probably be back.
I want to start by saying that the food and service were excellent and I would definitely go back. The downside was that they did not check our Covid vaccination cards and that happened to be on a day that I learned that 6 people I know who were all fully vaccinated caught the new Covid Variant from a Holiday party last week.
The restaurant tables were what I would call normally set up with no distance between the next table. I could touch the shoulder of the person at the next table w/o much of a lean- not 6 ft apart.
Hope this was helpful.
We went early evening for a pre-show dinner. Service was prompt and attentive. The dip trio appetizer was delicious, as were the stuffed grape leaves. Timbale was excellent and beautifully presented. The gnocchi was a bit dense and would have benefited from some ground pine nuts or toasted walnut, and about 30 seconds less time on the stove. Dessert was superb: the brûléed rice pudding is worth every calorie. None of the three ports were available, nor were several scotches on the menu, and the wine list is thin, but the craft cocktails were amazing.
An attractive dining room with open kitchen to see all the action. Excellent wine selection. Terrific menu with delicious options and dinner specials. The Pera trio is a wonderfully delicious appetizer to share. The Baklava dessert was a great ending to an excellent meal. The service was a disappointment tonight. Inattentive for long periods. When the food came out it came fast...we bearly made a dent in appetizers before main course was in front of us. Water glasses went unfilled after first pour. Quick to clear dishes, even though my guest was not finished eating. I enjoyed it inspite of service trying to kill my evening.
Calm environment and comfortable. We were early before theater, and service was spotty, alternating between attentive and absent. No recitation of specials. White wine was warm, but promptly replaced. Hummus and house makes chips were great. Chicken shashlik was tasty. Seafood cake was a bit fishy tasting - not the fishy you’d expect. All on all fine.
Nice ambience. very good service. decent food with menu catering to both veg and meat options. we all enjoyed our time spent at Pera Medi . Thankyou .
The food and service were fantastic. A great experience and a restaurant my husband and I will return to. I would highly recommend them.
Booked a large business dinner here and had an extra guest join last minute. They reworked the table arrangement for us and were super accommodating. Service was excellent.
Nice food and good service. A little loud near reception but was holidays.
Had a group dinner. Way too loud for a group get together. Can only hear the person directly next to you. Food was good. Service mediocre at best.
