Amazing night out with my family. Great drinks, oysters we're amazing and service was great with our two kinds under 2. Awesome vibe and atmosphere. Definitely will return!
Delicious food and amazing service! Felt well-cared for and had a very enjoyable experience, thank you Per Diem staff!
First time experience was very pleasant and we’ll be back again! Great service!
So bummed that we didn’t like Per Diem more. I want it to do well, but I’m not sure it can hang with the Lancaster restaurant scene. I had the short ribs entree and didn’t get the blend of flavors. Wait staff is nice, but inexperienced. Even the greeting at the hostess station was lukewarm.
This was our second time visiting Per Diem. Great drink menu and we love the brick oven pizza. The staff came up with a great Mexican salad as a special. I hope it makes it to the menu. Looking forward to returning soon.
My friends and I had a fantastic first trip to Per Diem this past Saturday evening. Great cocktails, excellent and friendly service, comfortable seating, great acoustics, delicious and inventive cuisine, and a really hip ambience!! We all loved it. Per Diem is new favorite place to eat and drink. Thanks to everyone for taking such great care of us. We will be back very soon!!
Great atmosphere, we had been looking forward to trying this restaurant and it did not disappoint!
Excellent experience on our first visit! We will go back!!
Superb cocktails. Quick, efficient service. Excellent food, nicely plated. Good value!
Highly recommend roasted Brussels sprouts, pizza, salmon, and mussels. Nice beer options!
Food and service were excellent.
Our reserved table on New Years Eve was next to the kitchen grill. Not the best location. Service was good, food cost a little high for the atmosphere.
Great service and gluten free pizza. Best we’ve had and best dough! Keep it up!
Very cool funky place. Food was very good. A little loud.
Place is still new so they are working out some kinks, but the foundation is there for this to be a solid addition to the ever
-growing Lancaster restaurant scene. Food is good and service is good and ambiance has an easy, cool vibe. Parents, this is not really a kids scene... your fellow diners will thank you. Keep working on it guys. You’ve got real potential.
We went to Per Diem for the first time. We made our reservation of 6 pm but had to wait for 15 minutes for our table to be ready. We were presented the menus which included the draft beer menu. I ordered a draft to find out that it was not available. I was given an out of date draft list. We were seated near the kitchen, which I find a pleasure after having spent a lifetime in the hospitality industry. The kitchen appeared well staffed and may have had extra staff who were learning. Our food was served promptly and was very good. Although I think Peer Diem is still shaking out it’s service, it is very good. I will be back.
I really enjoyed my dinner. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. I would like to see more options that are both vegetarian and gluten free. I was also disappointed that the 1st few items we wanted to order were not available.
While it may be hip and trendy, the food was poor and choices limited. Old fashioned chairs uncomfortable. With an open kitchen, needless banter from chefs is part of the experience. The success of a restaurant depends on good food and good service....
Our Christmas Eve dinner was lovely! The Oysters on the half shell were great. The Gnocchi, the Tour Burger and the Salmon we all had was fabulous. I’m a huge fan of the Onward and Upward cocktail, too. It all was absolutely lovely!
Very good food and nice atmosphere. Would recommend.
The bartenders are nice and friendly. Drinks were good! The pizza...not so much. Needs improvement. The entrees were good. Small portions for the price.
Got to try Per Diem and they are off to a good start. The ownership has experience, so you needn't fear a start-up. Service was excellent and food choices are "fun". Chef came out to discuss their take on gnocchi. It was a nice touch to hear directly from the Chef. We'll be back to try some more food, soon.
The Pizza - The Lititz as very tasty!
We were excited to visit Per Diem to celebrate our daughters 21st birthday. We made our reservation for 7:30pm through Open Table. Our table was not ready upon arrival. After a much too lengthy explaination as to why the table wasn’t ready, and, an unsolicited visit by the manager, we were sent to the bar. About 15 min later we were seated.
The waitress didn’t acknowledge us for a good 10 minutes. She was pleasant enough but the service was slow and not attentive.
The food was good but nothing to brag about. It is extremely loud. The interior design is gorgeous and the space is good for people watching. The prices are decent.
We’ll wait until the kinks are worked out before trying Per Diem again. Hoping this was a simple case of growing pains.
This restaurant has such a great feel and atmosphere! It's beautiful and the food and service were great!!
Food and service were excellent. we were seated near the bar area and found that the noise level was too high to have conversation at our table. our table was in the dining room
I usually need some protein with my meal so I've stayed away from ordering the gnocchi. Boy was I missing out! I split wings and oysters with my friend (my protein) and had the wonderfulness of the gnocchi! The flavors were out of the world and the mushrooms (which I normally never eat) were delicious and added to the texture of the meal. Paired with my forever favorite cocktail, Fall in Love, I was a happy girl! My friends who grew up in Lancaster were visiting from LA and they said it had a very LA trendy vibe to it, nothing similar to it in Lancaster County since coming back. My friends enjoyed the salmon, the short rib and the burger and we were all happy! Something for everyone! So happy for this much needed addition to Lititz!
Good but not special.
New restaurant. Service staff on a learning curve. We checked in 40 minutes before our reservation time. Had a drink at.the Hotel bar and Resturant. Receptionist said she would text us when table available. She never texted. We went to her and she said table has been ready! Ambiance sterile and caters to millennials. Bar stools and dining table wood chairs uncomfortable. Food prepared in open kitchen adds a nice touch. Kitchen staff worked very hard and efficiently. We had steak, oysters, Caesar with salmon and a mussels entree. Food was very good and nicely presented.
Great service and the food was delicious. Everyone at the table enjoyed their experience. Will definitely be back.
I thoroughly enjoyed the experience over the weekend. The waitress knew the menu extremely well. She was attentive. The food was excellent. We enjoyed the Pork Belly Mac and Cheese that was on special. The Vegan Tostado was very flavorful. The salad was fresh and crisp. The comments about the noise level are accurate. We did not sit near the bar, but it was noisy, but not enough to drown out our table's conversation.
Sat us in the noisy bar section, really close to another couple, despite having open seats in the dining area. My burger was ok... nothing special; my friend loved the gnocchi.
The ambiance and service were good, but the short rib was so underseasoned that it was nearly inedible and what was supposed to be grits (which I love) was a horrible cornmeal mush. The craft cocktail we ordered was terrible as well. The scallop special was seasoned, so there must be salt in the kitchen somewhere! The scallops themselves were overcooked and chewy. Very disappointing meal. Seems like little changes in the kitchen might go a long way. They are still new, so I hope they get it figured out!
Food was excellent, service was excellent, atmosphere was wonderful, will definitely be going again for dinner soon. Great addition to the Lititz restaurant choices.
Our table was next to the kitchen so we were exposed to significant noise. Would have enjoyed much more away from the kitchen.
We were two couples out for a Friday night. We wanted a place that we could easily make a reservation online. We had never been here, so it was a great new experience for us. The food was delicious. I came back 2 days later with a group of girlfriends for a girls night. We will be back again!
Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and the bar offerings.
She made the experience a 5 star.
Service and ambiance were excellent!! For only being open two weeks we were nervous about training of server and kitchen with severe food allergies and we were sooooo happy that food was safely prepared! They were very knowledgeable about cross contamination too which sometimes is rare or comes with an eye roll. But our server had a great attitude about it and was extra careful in checking and communicating with the kitchen to reassure us. It’s not just an intolerance like gluten free can be but a real anaphylactic reaction allergy. I really wish I could give it more stars but the only negative was the actual entrees. The menu is so creative but the red beet salad was screaming for salt and pepper or some other flavor and all of the dishes were very heavy handed in an olive oil grease slick. I agree with the other reviews about greasiness. We get that they want to use a local olive oil store in Lititz for their local spin, but it was overkill. Dishes could use more seasoning and less greasy oil. We will definitely return since it is a safe establishment for food allergies which are rare to find and maybe try other items on the menu. Food portions and value were good, no negatives there. The star of the night were the desserts (not allergy friendly though that would be great to add one!) and our server Christina!
We chose to order drinks from the bar and take them to a cozy corner in the lobby. Someone in our group mentioned that his drink, a gin and tonic, was made with soda. After we were seated at our reserved table, a manager came over after the meal to check in with us, and we told her about the drink. She said she would speak with the bartender, but didn’t offer to comp the drink. We all had the the steak frites; the rib eye was tasty but the fries were bland. A few rough edges, but we might try again during the holiday.
Great Woolery friendly & welcoming!
We were seated early due to our early arrival, which was awesome. There were two couples and we enjoyed our four pizzas. They were more than enough per person. Both couples took pizza home. Our server, Olivia, was great! We felt the wine pours were less than average, however we were told by the manager that the glasses make them appear less than 6 ounces due to the large flat bottom. A neat place especially for the millennials.
We tried this restaurant for the first time. When we walked in, we noted that the bar was crowded and the restaurant was loud. We had a reservation and were seated immediately. I ordered a glass of wine. When the wine was served, first, in looking at the wine, I knew it was not what I had ordered. I asked the server, and she assured me it was the right wine. Second, it was at best a 4 oz. pour for which I was charged $12 (a bottle is about $25). For dinner, we ordered the mussels and linguine. The sauce tasted like it was the juice inside a chicken pot pie (thinker sauce, almost like a cream of chicken soup). It made the dish practically inedible. They charged $17 for the dish. Also, we ordered the chick pea and sweet potato tostadas. Those were pretty good (spicy). Many of the customers were ordering the pizza or burger. Overall, we were underwhelmed with the food. If we go back (which won't be anytime soon), we would only order the pizza.
