                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    We visited Pepper during a short holiday break between Christmas and New Year. It was a quiet night, being a Wednesday, although there were a couple of larger groups celebrating birthdays and, although we had booked online, there were plenty of tables to choose from. The menu contained a few dishes we had not encountered before. We had small but beautifully cooked and presented seafood starters. For main course my partner chose the tandoori lamb chops which were plentiful and excellent. I had a king prawn dish which was equally delicious. There was a slight mix up with our order, which was taken on a digital device, which resulted in us getting a few dishes we hadn't requested! However, this was sorted out quickly, with apologies and a complimentary side dish. A very nice meal in a lovely restaurant.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    Service can be a little slow here - we were kept standing for 5 minutes before being seated - but the wait is worth it. Very good Indian food; excellent choice including some imaginative chef's specials; and an especially good selection of delicious breads. Possibly the best naan I have eaten. Great for an after-cinema meal - park behind the restaurant for both venues.
