Peony Kitchen offers a fresh interpretation of Chinese cuisine in a vibrant and stylish atmosphere. In the 1930s, Shanghai was considered the Paris of the East and it was the epic center for any artistic avant-garde.

Peony’s concept is a nod to that era. The restaurant's name itself can be interpreted as the Chinese national flower Peony or the stage name of a female lounge diva. Peony is an eatery where diners can get a taste of old China and modern Chinese cuisine.

Great service and the food was delicious! Staff was friendly and very attentive and fast. A fun way to celebrate the lunar new year.

All the dishes we had were delicious and the serving containers were uniquely varied. The duck was outstanding, everything was really good. Service was kind and helpful, no complaints!

I would absolutely recommend Peony Kitchen to friends and colleagues. The Chef, Donna Whang actually came out to talk with us and shared her creativity, joy, energy, and expertise with us. The dishes and overall experience were so good, we returned again for dinner the next day.

We love Peony, but unfortunately the lunch experience was not a good one. We recommend only going for dinner moving forward.

Service was just ok. We ordered the duck and spicy fish bowl. The duck dish was good, however the spicy fish was very fishy. Didn’t expect that

Thought the food was just ok. Sometimes drinks took quite a long time. Space is nice but I don’t think I’d go back.

We had our Christmas dinner there recently, there were 10 of us. We were sited in one of the private tables behind the bar, it was really nice and quiet. We ordered 10 different dishes and it was excellent. My favorite dish was their hot/sour soup, Dover sole with vegetables ( served in a fried fishbowl), smoke chicken, and seafood with mushrooms.
