Peohe staff was very attentive. In addition to a fabulous meal, they provided my guest with a birthday card and personalized birthday menu.
The food was very good, the atmosphere and view were outstanding. Birthday cards were on the table for our twin grandsons which was a lovely thing for Pheoe's to do.
They did not have enough waitstaff for the number of people dining this evening. Our waiter had 6 tables from what we could tell. We waited 30 minutes for a refill on a lemonade. My husband and I were looking forward to Pheoe's OUTSTANDING Mud Pie and a coffee beverage at the end of our meal. Our waiter brought dessert for our grandsons birthday with candles, set them down and ran off. He never asked us if we wanted dessert or coffee. After waiting about 20 minutes, we had to flag someone down to find our waiter and get our check.
I don't totally blame the waiter for the service failure, some of the blame has to fall on management who did not staff properly for the evening. We love Pheoe's and will return, but please management, look at what is going on in your restaurant and get your waitstaff some help.
It was a great night, celebrated a birthday beautiful view and sunset, my steak was done just right, our server could've been better, last time our server was amazing with everything else.. I still give them 10/10.. amazing place to eat, drink and view..
The food was great, but the service was a bit slow .
Great food. Bring a jacket.
Loved the experience. The views were phenomenal, as was the food.
Brought friends from out of town.
Had a birthday celebration on our final night in Coronado and loved it. The food was amazing and the portions were huge for the price. Great wine and drink lists again at very reasonable prices. But our night was truly memorable thanks to the service. From a personalized birthday card and menu to our servers excellent recommendations and friendliness it was a night to remember. No need to go anywhere else in San Diego. Enjoy the view, the food, and especially the people at Peohes!
They really treated us great for our anniversary , great experience all around
We were outside and the heaters didn’t keep our group 5 warm enough. Otherwise we loved it
Lovely atmosphere but food too heavy
Expected lighter dinner she’s — Tuma prepared with sauce almost like gravy
Not what we expected
Always “The Place” for a special meal & view.
Every time we come for lunch Peohe's is perfect, today especially. Our waiter, Thomas, made our visit outstanding with his charm.
The calamari is a most delicious appetizer, as well as the sampler platter. Fish and chips were amazing. All of the special flavors of our choices are the highlight of this gem of a foodie paradise. Thank you.
Table view was good but the table next to us had about 20 people celebrating a birthday and they were quite noisy.
Our family celebrated two birthdays. The food, service, and ambience were great. Will most certainly come again
Love the view from this place. Have been coming here for about 8 years not and I have never had a bad meal or bad service
Love Peohe’s! The service was awesome. Attended to our needs as they arise. Two of us had the Chilean Sea Bass. Cooked very well and the flavor of the sauce was so so good. Thank you!
Don’t get the Mahi. Only go for lunch, not worth it for dinner.
Excellent service by our waitress.....She was the best we've had at any Chart House!
The front desk was outstanding. However, our first waiter was at the end of his shift and obviously did not want to be taking care of us! The second waiter was better but quite busy. We will not return for holidays or for dinner. Happy hour is much better.
The food was fine albeit not spectacular, the service was indifferent and less than we expected. There are lots of fine restaurants on the island, choose one of those instead.
Went there the night before Easter and it was amazingly uncrowded (although we had a reservation). Food was incredible. A bit on the pricey side but not too bad and worth every penney. Service was also great. We'll go again for sure!
Great location and good service
The hostess left us waiting did not even say hello. The restaurant was almost empty yet they would not seat us. Finally we were seated. Service was very slow. Good ok but would never recommend.
The views are beautiful however
We went to Peohes for my sisters 50th Birthday! The food, view and service were outstanding. Looking forward to going back!
Overall the food was great. One item, swordfish was a bit dry. If you want seafood, go with Chilean Sea-bass. It was excellent. Everything else was great. Thus I put 4 stars for food and 5 stars overall.
We were seated at a very nice view table overlooking the city and as the sun set, the scene changed from rosy to sparkling lights! There is nothing like the view from Peohe's and such a great place to show off our special city of San Diego! The food is outstanding and the service is exactly as it should be in a fine dining restaurant.
It was a memorable first time for us! Amazing customer service. And they added a special touch by leaving a birthday card on our table
Great food as always we live this place our server was way to busy to take care of us though.
Will go back for sure
just a wonderful experience, very classey, food was delicious
The Peohe's staff were incredibly friendly and from the moment we checked in we were continually amazed at how receptive they were to our 3nd anniversary dinner. They presented us with a staff signed card celebrating our anniversary, printed personal menus. Our waitress and complete staff made the dinner a romantic enjoyable evening. I requested a table with a view of the skyline and the Coronado Bay bridge and they certainly did not disappoint, it was an incredible view!!
We visited to take out our San Diego relatives, and could not have been any happier ! Beautiful views of the bay (including Naval Ships passing by...), great food, very friendly service and reasonable prices ! Can't wait to return !
We had a group of 9 people, and chose Peohe's mainly because of the waterfront location. It was a beautiful night, and the views are spectacular. The menu is very creative, and everyone in our group enjoyed their entrees. All of us would recommend Peohe's
It’s sad that Peohe’s is not up to the standards of any good Restaurant in San Diego. They rely more on their amazing views and all the tourists then on quality food.
The Prime Rib Sandwich, the Seafood Cobb salad, the raviolis and even the fish tacos are all less than average and not worse the elevated prices. Definitely not for foodies or anyone who is looking for a tasty experience.
The waiter, Scott, was very attentive.
Crab/ mango appetizer was good, First artichoke was undercooked, second wasn’t much better. Stuffed Tilapia was good , but the shrimp with linguini was very disappointing . Shrimp was burnt and dry and sauce was bland. Expected better, service was very good and View wonderful.
Always a favorite of ours. Great view and good food. Tonight was a little slow on the service side, but still had an enjoyable time.
Great views, friendly service, and delicious food.
We waited over 1 hour for our drinks including water despite reservations. Our server did try to make up for this by giving extra appetizers however still very slow. Also unable to split a check despite multiple people at the table.
My girls first visit to SD. We had a great time. The waitress was amazing! Food even better!
They got a lot wrong and not much right. Could’ve been great but the attention to detail was severely lacking.
