Very nice experience! Service was amazing from the minute we were met at the door. The restaurant is quite pretty and charming. We sat in the dining room and servers were there immediately with water, then to take a drink order, then to help with menu selections. Although I like to dine leisurely, my partner does not, so from walk in to walk out, with drinks, entrees and cappuccinos, we were out in an hour. The burger and the chicken sandwich were very flavorful and we both ended up bringing half our sandwiches back! Definitely will try again. Noise level, since there was no real dampening in the industrial type building was pretty high and hard to hear, but other than that, no issues!

We had a wonderful experience here. Delicious food and excellent service! The confit wings were yummy and fell off the bones. The Pennyroyal salad was delicious! And the vegan pot pie (I’m not vegan BTW) was so flavorful! Delicious food, great service, and reasonable prices… this place is a gem!

This place is so cute, the cocktails so creative, the food spot on and a solid wine list (yay! Spanish reds!) with amazing bottle pricing. Then add the high quality service--from walking in to our attentive (ie leaving us alone and then just stepping in at the right time) server Heather. Pennyroyal Station really does hospitality it right.

The service was good and it is a cure neighborhood restaurant. The food was hit or miss. The deviled eggs, friend green tomatoes, and collard greens were very good, but the burger was over done and not well assembled. Both the marrow mac-n-cheese and rabbit pappardelle left something to be desired. The same for the creole potato salad.

I always have a good time when I visit Pennyroyal Station. The food is very good as is the service. The restaurant is quite well arranged and is decorated with art work which lends visual interest to Pennyroyal Station. I've been there when It was very quiet and also very loud. So if you visit on a weekend, expect to speak with a raised voice. During the week, it's much quieter. Either way, the food is excellent! Don't miss the crabby deviled eggs!

We had not visited in a while, as we do not live that close. The service is always spot on! Food-wise, we found just about everything savory ranging from a bit over salted to VERY salty. Just hoping this was a temporary kitchen issue, and will visit again. Desert was great and the drinks are always interesting and tasty.

I had the Bass for dinner and it was simply devine! The ceilings are high so the noise level can get high at times. Otherwise, this is one of my favorite go to spot for dinner with friends. Oh, love the fried green tomatos as well.

The fried fish was excellent, but the side salad wasn’t. It needed a little something more in it and the vinegarett dressing was awful!!!! I was still hungry when I left! Maybe serve some bread before the lunch entree? (Personal Opinion)

The AC was broken and we didn’t find out until we were sweating. No mention beforehand or during. It was hot. Kinda made our experience different and not as enjoyable. I think I would try it again but oddly would call and ask if the AC was working before we went.

The atmosphere was very nice. The building itself was well decorated and really cool. We went for the happy hour, and I would definitely recommend that to anyone. The food was incredible and the bartender, Jason, was wonderful. He was so much fun and made our dining experience wonderful!

Really delicious farm-to-table soul food. We enjoyed the deviled eggs and Berkshire Pork Chop. Our favorite side was the collard greens - among the best we ever had. Our dessert was a strawberry short cake (olive cake) with an incredible cardamom ice. Service was attentive and helpful in making recommendations to suit our taste.

I had heard about this place and had been wanting to try. Finally decided to go for a brunch, and wasn’t terribly impressed by the food or the team. The host was pretty flat when they arrived at the stand. I felt like I had to pull a hello, or a greeting which I never got. Oh well. I was seated in the farthest back table of the restaurant which was dark, and it was hot. There was NO AC. Disappointing because it was a warm day. I ordered a fried fish sandwich (ask the server what kind of fish because the menu simply says fish, I guess they fry what’s available. Turns out it was catfish that day.) My plate was a fairly small sized piece of fish on a larger (oversized) sized roll, slathered with remoulade and hot sauce, and pickles. The bread really overwhelmed the sandwich, so I removed one half and ate it “open faced.” Not ideal, but it was better than eating a bread sandwich, with a taste of fish. My companion ordered the bacon, cheddar and carnitas biscuit with a side of scrambled eggs. The biscuit was dry and needed something else, perhaps a gravy? Eggs were basic. Drinks were fine. Service was okay. Restaurant was loud, hot and dark where we were. We heard constant noise of dishes being loudly slammed in trays after being bussed. I had heard a lot about this “neighborhood gem,” wanted to try it; glad I went; doubt if I’ll go back.

As always, a lovely experience. The service is excellent and the food spectacular. Do NOT miss the devilled eggs with crab, or the collards with port. I had a fried soft-shell crab that was simply unforgettable.

The food was very flavorful and the prices were just right. The metered parking was just outside the restaurant and on the backside was free parking. The happy hour menu was just right, but the main menu was even better. Would definitely return.
