Pendolino is the new restaurant from chef-owner Kevin Maxey, debuting spring of 2024 in Atlanta. Taking up an Italian disposition – one where eating and culture are inseparable – we are proud to offer Chastain Park a classy-casual neighborhood place.
Come join us in our dining room or our sun-filled patio for an unbeatable setting. One side of the restaurant boasts a curved oak wood bar with casual café style seating, and views of the wood burning oven. The main dining room has a lux mix of comfy banquettes, graciously sized booths, and marble topped tables and there is a private dining room that can be enclosed for festive celebrations. Whether you are out for a date night or late night, feasting with friends or family, popping by for an afternoon snack or lingering for a special occasion, we can’t wait to host you.

Some friends and I went for the first time on Friday and had a wonderful experience. The service was top notch perfection. We had a few appetizers: the meatballs, cheese bread, calamari, and the octopus. The meatballs and cheese were so flavorful and wonderful. Definitely will be order those again. The calamari was over cooked and dry and a bit rubbery. The octopus was salty and a bit overcooked as well. We also had salads: Caesar salad and the chicory salad. Both were very delicious! For my entree I had the shrimp scampi. It was very flavorful, shrimp and pasta were cooked perfectly, the sauce wasn’t salty, and everything just worked well together. We had three different desserts: tiramisu, sea salt vanilla gelato, and the pistachio gelato. All three were simply delightful. So overall we had a wonderful first time experience at this restaurant and will definitely be back.

Drinks and food were fabulous! The calamari was chewy but all the Burrata dishes were delish. The homemade pasta with the sausage was really good but a tiny bit too spicy. Beautiful decor snd ambiance.

First time here and all 6 of us were totally impressed. Everything we are was delicious! Drinks were also very good. We’ll definitely be back soon.

So excited to try this place but left disappointed. I had high hopes for a neat crafty cocktail place to frequent. However, they list craft cocktails on their menu but can't change any of them. Why? Because they pre-make those so when you order one, all you get is a bartender pouring out of a jug. I never heard any SHAKER sounds from the bar during my entire visit and I sat about 20 feet from the bar. Craft should mean fresh and the cocktail options and prices are not fresh. Then, everything you ask about the food menu that might prompt a slight change, requires the server to leave to go ask the kitchen manager if it can be done. Sound is nearing the loud side. There are way too many Italian options to choose from. I would say choose another one.

Hello Helen! My name is Todd and I am the Manager at Pendolino. I'm sorry to hear that the wines you were hoping for weren't on our shelves--that's so irritating. Because our wine list is heavily Italian, we are sometimes subject to delays in international shipping. Our distributers often only receive a limited amount of certain wines-- and when they run out, unfortunately, we run out. Believe me when I tell you, I am just as frustrated with this situation as you are. Just so you know, you are always welcome to bring your own wine, we typically charge a $30 corkage fee, but I will waive this for you if you bring your own the next time you come in. I want you to have the very best experience with us at Pendolino. Apologies, Todd General Manager, Pendolino

This place is great for a casual family dinner, a girlfriend’s night out or a date night. We have been a couple of times with ours kids and always got good food and good service. Definitely recommend it
