   I chose this restaurant because we were dining with a Vegan and she was not disappointed - a non-vegan may find the choices a bit limiting. The lentil appetizer with the plantain chips was really good for all at the table. The pizza, a Vegan choice, was not too inspired, but tasty. I personal;ly would return to try other options on the menu because I was intrigued. The wine and drinks were just so so. We were too early for any of the entertainment and I would like to return for that as well.

   We went to Peña Pachamama for lunch on a weekday, so it was understandably more subdued than the usual fare that is talked about on this review page. We wished we could make it to an evening appointment, but alas! However, this allowed our server to give us the undivided attention that most SF restaurants would not be able to afford. The service was excellent, and we enjoyed our recommended dishes and appetizers. We would consider going back to witness the oft-talked about live performances and band nights further down the road.

   Such a wonderful little restaurant and delicious food! Try their agave Margaritas... super yummy! My sister is Vegan and she wanted to try everything on the menu. For us non-vegans, the menu was still fantastic.

   Their menu consists of Latin inspired raw and vegan options. We went armed with a Groupon with show tickets, sangrias and appetizers for two people. The appetizer sampler was delicious, the sangrias were refreshing but it goes kind of downhill from there. Vegan cheeseburger and vegan chorizo sandwich were just okay where they tasted grainy not really like their namesake. The high prices did not justify the taste/quality. Music was performed by the owners, which got people on their feet for the rest of the night. All in all, good apps, drinks and music but could get expensive. Perhaps it's just not my cup of tea.

   Amazing and unique place that offers great raw menu. Looking forward to coming back for dinner with my family who can enjoy carnivore foods while enjoying my raw options. Went to a raw lecture here, and the venue is perfect for the intimate setting.
