Our waitress was fabulous; we loved her! Food was great & atmosphere fun. We would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Not yet a busy place. Has potential. I went for seafood..but menu a bit sparse. I had oysters which were good. Others had appetizers since entrees a bit pricey and we were unsure of what to order that we would enjoy at 30 dollars or more per pers.
The experience was good, thankfully we did not have interest with the unavailable items from the menu.
We showed up a littler early, sat at the bar and transitioned to our table. The drinks and oysters were great. Our bartender and waiter did a fantastic job, both knew their menus, described items to detail and made great recommendations.
The food itself was very tasteful and I’m a foodie, unfortunately if your looking for lobster do not order the thermidor. It did not hit the spot even though the presentation was nice.
Overall I would go back if I’m back in Nashville, thanks Pemrose
A very nice experience, great ambience and good food.
Food was good, not outstanding. For value, would say overpriced
The food was amazing and so was the atmosphere!!! Would highly recommend!
Really nice atmosphere. Oysters on the half shell were really good. Oysters Rockefeller just ok. The filet mignon was cooked to perfection. The green beans weren’t that hot. Brussel sprouts were amazing. A little pricey but not bad for special occasions.
I went here when it was Fin and Pearl so when my mother and I went back it was Pemrose, I have to say our waitress Callie was so amazing. Making sure everything was good and she on top of it. Very sweet and make great choices for us. The food was amazing. Had the Oyster Rockefeller so delicious. And I also had the Maine Lobster Roll. And you have to try the Chocolate Creme Brûlée. Outstanding service and food. We will be back!
Best range of fish and shellfish in Nashville (including a quality raw bar). It's quickly become a favorite.
The food was very good, service started off great but then diminished to very poor. The noise however was so loud we could hardly talk and understand each other.
Good Brunch buffet. Fresh and hot.
My husband said the salmon was the best salmon he has ever had. They have plenty of GF options too.
Wish there was a Saturday brunch menu.
Brussel sprouts are good.
The food (lobster roll, fried chicken, swordfish, calamari, pimento cheese dip and desserts) was lights out. Service could have been better but we had a newer server. I’m not going to hold it against someone learning. Overall, the food, ambiance and whole vibe is worth going back to!
My husband and I recently went to Pemrose for our third anniversary. Everyone from the hostess, bartender to our waitress was very kind and helpful. We ordered the fried shrimp, Jambalaya, and filet minion. Everything was delicious! For dessert I got the lemon sorbet which was a delight. Because it was our anniversary, they also gave us a complimentary champagne. I had a glass of the brute rose and my husband had a couple glasses of the Pinot noir and we loved the wine selection as well. The ambience and decor isHey subtle octopus ocean theme. We love this restaurant and will definitely come again.
Really enjoyed my dad's birthday dinner at Pemrose. We got a lot of different dishes and all were outstanding, as were the cocktails. As good as the food/drinks were the service was even better.
Exceptional service and they made the night perfect for my sister and brother in law for their anniversary! Food was amazing probably the best restaurant experience I have ever had!!
Had a wonderful experience. Great sevice food and drink
Supposed to be an upscale restaurant but the decor of the place makes you feel like your in an average restaurant. The food was very good. Giving a lower rating due to after ordering our appetizers and a few drinks in they tell us that they are out of 2 of their main entrees that we ordered. Again for a supposed upscale restaurant this was very disappointing. Someone drop the ball on inventory. You have to let your patrons know right away if your out of items so we have the choice to stay or leave.
We were very excited to try Pemrose, as great seafood options are few and far between in Nashville. The oysters our waiter recommended were wonderful, and the cocktails were superb. However the entrees left us wanting something more/better. My scallop jambalaya was so-so. The scallops were cooked well, but the jambalaya itself was so spicy that you could hardly detect the flavors in the dish. My partner ordered the crab cakes, and they resembled pre-made crab cakes from a grocery store. They were still palatable, but I would expect a different style crab cake at the price point paid. In the end, dessert saved the day. We ordered the cheesecake, and it was phenomenal.
Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and I will go again. However, I will be trying some other menu items, and hope I am better pleased.
Amazing restaurant! Really good food, fun location. Would def go again
Very very overpriced for chain food quality. Would not recommend
We really enjoyed Pemrose. Great service and delicious food. We enjoyed the happy hour before dinner.
It was a nice little brunch! I’ve been twice now, and the service could use a little work, but the food is very fresh and tasty.
Good food but overpriced in my opinion. I ordered the crab legs and got 1 claw that was $49. Most places you go you get a few claws for that price. Was a bit disappointed. Didn't taste very good either. Small portions for an expensive price
We were in Nashville for the first time for the Americanafest and were looking for a nice place away from the ceaseless noise of Broadway and the bachelorette parties that seemed to be at every turn. Pemrose fit the bill to a T. We got there a bit early for our reservation and were guided to the bar to have a cocktail prior to our table being ready. Once seated we were welcomed by our server, who guided our food choices and made sure all questions were answered. My wife despairs at ordering a steak in most restaurants for fear of it being undercooked or burnt to a crisp, Pemrose delivered a beautiful medium well filet mignon, which made the evening a winner right there. My jambalaya with diver scallops was spicy and delicious as well. We were never rushed or ignored, and it was a wonderful way to spend part of our final evening in Music City!
Great service and everything we tried was delicious from the crab and corn chowder to lobster mac, crab cakes, scallops, salmon and Brussels sprouts! Good ambiance too. Highly recommend and I’ll be back
Anna was a great bar person - friendly, engaging and helpful. Food was very good as well.
Great atmosphere, drink menu not too extensive, didn’t have cognac on the menu, but the manager was able to “find” some Hennessey for my hubby. Lobster Thermidor was underwhelming, a small lobster on a plate, filleted open, and that’s about it, not worth $40, the Mac and cheese and Brussels sprouts were tasty, the crab cake meal was great except for the crab cakes, the sides were well seasoned and awesome, but the crab cakes were three breaded, small cakes that didn’t taste homemade, tasted like something you’d get from the freezer section in a store. The filet mignon was excellent, and the service was super, very attentive, and friendly.
Service was earnest but a little slow. Food was ok - nothing extraordinary.
Ok, unsure if I’ll return
After build up from those who recommended it was most disappointing. That’s about.
They had the best Jambalaya I have had in a long time.. loved the ambience and the food. Definitely a must-go in the Gulch.
Great spot if you want to avoid all the other local places that have lines and wait times are over an hour. Friendly staff with good suggestions and delicious food. Try the CT warm lobster roll. A bit on the pricey side. However, Nashville was a bit overwhelming, so this was a nice break from all the tractor tours and the Yeeehawww y’all crowds. A hidden gem for sure.
Had the lobster roll and it was outstanding! Everyone loved their dishes. Will be back for sure
Went here with a group of 8 people to celebrate my husband's birthday. We were seated in a large, comfortable booth, and it was perfect. Our server was wonderful, the apps were great, and the entrees were incredible. I had the fried chicken and it was amazing; my husband had the filet and it melts in your mouth! Will absolutely be back... for a special occasion or just for a delicious dinner!
We had multiple meals under cooked. Our party felt rushed to hurry up and complete our meal, which wasn't ideal for a birthday celebration. The server did a great job making the best of a bad situation, which was appreciated, but we won't be back. There are too many other quality options in Nashville for the price we paid.
Family vacation to Nashville. We had eaten at Pemrose on a previous trip and remembered it being great. Took the family in and we were not disappointed. Great food and great environment.
