   Really disappointed with the food no matter the cost. The octopus was cold with way too much vinegar in the dressing. The veal saltimbocca had no prosciutto to be found, was unsalted with barely any sauce that was flavourless anyway. The veal was tough. The ravioli was superb. The focaccia was supposed to be outstanding- it was ok but not outstanding. The cocktails were barely a thimble full. The lighting was so low we couldn't see the menu. Skipped dessert as we couldn't wait to get out of there.

   Was a bit sad that the wait staff misunderstood our order; we ended up with tiramisu instead of creme caramel (we thought they'd given us a free extra dessert because of a birthday and didn't realise that wasn't the case until it was nearly time to leave) and was also given another peach Bellini instead of the Rosita we ordered. But the food was good!

   This is our second time at Pellegrino 2000 and we absolutely loved it both times we dined. The staff are so lovely and accommodating, insightful and friendly. The food is absolutely phenomenal, true authentic Italian. The wines are also delicious. The only thing I would recommend is to bring a coat or jacket as the doors and windows stay open and it can get quite cold upstairs when dining at night in the winter.

   The cellar was perfect for a wet and a bit of a chilly day. Lovely ambience. The octopus entree was really nice as was the ravioli for the main. Good variety of wine by the glass. Dessert was delicious. I found the bottles of wine a bit pricey but single glass prices were reasonable. This restaurant is so quaint with its European flair and bar area. Music was cute too. Service was warm and friendly but discreet. A place also for wearing your chic clothes !

   Ordered the veal and the pasta with guainchale, was amazing both of them. The wine was good. Service good. Fries good.
