The food and place is amazing. Other consumers do get noisy though.
Great food. Horrible service. We had to go and get our waitress two times. She forgot to bring us our drinks. She never checked on us. We had three children with us and she never mentioned that there were children options off the menu. It was such a shame because the spot is so cool and the food was delicious.
My wife & I had a dinner here that would have been perfect if not for the service. It is right on the harbor and we enjoyed the view. We had a shrimp ceviche appetizer with plantain chips that was excellent. We both had the catch of the day, which was snapper and also very good. However, we had a server who was horrible. She was very slow to attend to us after we were seated . She finally brought water and said she would be right back. She finally came back after a while and asked if we were ready to order without ever asking about drinks. We both ordered a glass of the same Chardonnay, and it wasn’t until later we saw on the menu that the bottle price was the same as 2 glasses. She should have told us that. About that time, another server or manager stopped by to check on how things were going. We told him the issues, and he was obviously upset. He did his best to make things right. If he hadn’t intervened, I would have rated the service 1 Star, but his concern showed that maybe that was not the service expected there.
Sat outdoors- it got dark and lights were not enough to see what we’re eating - it was also turned on late‼️
Good food even the menu is limited...
Oh - the martinis 🍸 were only 3/4 filled...‼️⁉️⁉️⁉️
Nice cozy little place with a pleasant deck overlooking water and wharfside activities.
It was ok, but overpriced.
I won’t rush back at those prices.
We were disappointed. The conch fritters were super bready and the chicken wings were dripping in orange sauce. Just nothing special and not as good as it used to be. We asked to make a reservation for lunch this coming Saturday with out of town guests and the manager told the server they are too busy to take us. He seemed very disinterested in keeping out business so I’ve booked ya elsewhere on the water. The view is distorted now too since they park mega 5 story yachts right in front of the seating area. Again it’s not like it used to be at all.
Food was fantastic, Location was amazing, Staff went above and beyond our expectations.
The location is a little tricky to get to but with a little help from the valet at the hotel we were directed right to it. As soon as we arrived at the restaurant we were greeted by Cheyenne who promptly seated us and took our drink order. We sat on the deck overlooking the most beautiful waterway. They had live acoustic music playing but it wasn’t so loud that my husband and I couldn’t talk normally to hear one another. Within minutes we had our drinks and ordered our appetizers and food. We had ceviche and plantain chips which was so delicious! The ceviche was seasoned just perfectly and the chips were crispy and delicious. Next was our meal, and let me just say, OH MY GOSH! I had the fish tacos and a side salad and my husband had the shredded chicken tostadas. Both were cooked perfectly and tasted amazing! I thought my husband was actually going to lick his plate. Finally, the key lime pie, delicious, light and refreshing. Just the perfect ending to a fabulous dinner. Our waitress, Cheyenne, was so delightful. She was very attentive and had such a great personality. She was so friendly and polite.
I just can’t say enough good things about this place, the staff, the ambiance or the amazing food. Definitely recommended!
Live music was great. Fresh and delicious food. I had the crab cake sliders. The setting (rooftop/intracoastal) was really perfect.
The food was really fresh and yummy. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the view into the harbor was absolutely beautiful!
Perfect place for dining on the water in Fort Lauderdale, and currently, with the hotel shut down, parking is a breeze. Sitting on the second floor above the water is perfect, surrounded by boats, I don't think you can beat the atmostphere. Service and food were fine. Our party of 4 was annoyed at the bait-and-switch technique of adding small print to the advertised BOGO offer on their website: "Enjoy BOGO* day at Pelican Landing every Monday. Take advantage of two-for-one entrees all day. *The complimentary entree applies to an equally or lower priced item." The manager qualified once we got there that it isn't all day Monday, only after 5PM. Three days later, the website still hasn't been changed to reflect the change in the promotion.
I’ve always loved this place, but I think tonight I fell in love once again. I brought 14 first time diners and they were *in love* with the place.
First is drinks—of course, everyone had different drinks, cocktails, brews and shots. Bartender Morgan hooked it up. I personally had a margarita—it was not over-powered or too acidic, it was perfect. All of our shots were chilled perfectly. They recommended great local beers.
Next came food. I made sure to get the name of the chef—Jeffrey. Our orders were complicated and many, and the food made it out PERFECTLY and we ate every bite.
Finally is my girl (she’s always my waitress, I look forward to seeing her!) CHEYENNE!! And new super sweet waitress Leila(?) who helped out the whole way through. All 15 of us were ordering at once. Some people didn’t know what they wanted, some people added to their orders... some weren’t focused... let’s be honest a party of 15 can be hard to organize. But we had a GREAT time. Like I said all of our food came out at the same time. All of the plates went to the right people, there were no mistakes in the orders, there were no mistakes in ANY of the checks. It was perfect.
They were ALL. THAT. GOOD.
I purposely tipped-out, I’m certain my party did as well. I will be bringing all 15 of us back to spend more money again.
Thank you all so much for an amazing Sunday, you made it so memorable. Xo Jaimie
great view of water boats and cruise ships!!
This was horrible they were totally understaffed. It took 1h to get our food in between nobody really refilled our water. The restaurant itself was nice. Guessing the management has some problems. I dont even think there was a manager on duty
It was New Years Eve, so service was very slow starting, but all worked out. food was good, menu is small but the atmosphere makes up for it. will go back
Location-great! Food-wonderful! Service- subpar only because they were under staffed on a busy New Years Eve. Everyone was very pleasant and apologetic. It’s a fine line that separates too many servers and too little. We still had a very nice evening overlooking the intracoastal.
Terrible service. Had reservation and was told to self seat. 30 minutes later the waiter came to see us. Restaurant was not busy at the time but the operation was so disorganized. Several friends of servers hanging around drinking and interrupting the operation. Too bad because the food itself was good.
We enjoyed our lunch so much we came back for dinner the next night. Both waitresses, Gabbie and Cheyanne (hoping I have their names correct), made our meals even more enjoyable. This place is a hidden treasure.
This was a great place to eat! Food was good, staff was friendly, but the best part was the view from the restaurant and looking at all of the spectacular boats while walking on the docks to the restaurant. Would definitely go back! Great for kids too!
We had made reservations for Christmas Day but unknowingly they were closing at three and our reservations were at 3. They did honor our reservation and we had a server named Cheyenne who was wonderful, she did not rush us she was attentive and friendly. She made our Christmas Day very special. The food and drinks were also very good. Would highly recommend.
Difficult to locate. Not handicap accessible. No ambiance.
Great restaurant, terribly rude service! I made a large reservation a month in advance and they made very little accommodations for us. They spilt us into two tables and would not let us put them together. But another large party (without reservation) walked in and rearranged 4 tables together! The manager was extremely rude and dismissive to me. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!
The location is amazing. I can understand why some say it is a bit hard to find, but the signage is pretty good and we found it easily. The food was delicious and the servings generous. The conch appetizer was so delicious that we’d go back just for it! We had tacos for the main dish and it comes with a delicious salad, garnished with cashews! Two tacos are more than enough! Finally the dessert of cinnamon and sugar croissant donut with vanilla bourbon creme was to die for! All in all, everything more than lived up to our high expectations!
Always our stop for brunch when getting off the cruise ship. Great Bloody Mary and Mimosa bars.
Great people. Great spot.
Love eating at the pelican landing so took our friends for lunch as it was her birthday. But the server didn’t get the order correct and brought fries instead of a salad . But they made it right by bringing out a salad after . So e dry one was happy and really enjoyed the meal and ambiance. Will be back soon .
As always, outstanding food, service and ambiance!
A little bit of a walk to get there but well worth it for the inter coastal views.
Great little hidden spot with outdoor seating overlooking water.
We love Pelican's Landing. the service is friendly and efficient. The view is awesome.
Amazing place and the plates were excellent. Not big, not small, great presentation and service really good. Prices are ok. The only thing to mention about the coffee was served on a disposable cup. Other than that nothing else to add. I would come back and definitely a recomend it place to go.
My husband and I just love the signature salad. I had the beef brisket sandwich and the Pelican Landing salad. My husband had a Pelican burger. Both were awesome. The donuts were to die for. We were with friends who each had fish and it was their first visit. Both loved their meals. It was chilly so our waitress who was awesome moved us inside after we had been seated. This is our second time eating there and both times we really had a great meal, the inside eating area was a little small and we had some young people at the next table that were partying so a little on the loud side but otherwise awesome.
Drink a long time to get
The only issue was the cocktails. A margarita tasted as though there was no alcohol. They took it back and didn't charge for a fresh one which definitely had alcohol. Then a couple joined us and ordered a flavored martini and it also tasted as though it had no alcohol. They took it back and the lady asked for a glass of wine instead.
Although the location was lovely, there were several things that I could not help but pass along to the next potential diners. First off, if you have an individual that is disabled, be prepared to have them walk up some pretty steep steps as there is no elevator to the top floor. Secondly, the lighting was horrible!! I understand it intent was to set a certain type of ambience; however, it was ridiculously dark! Not only myself but I seen other diners having to use their cell phone flashlight to look at the menu. On a more positive note, the food was prepared quickly and it was pretty tasty.
To sum it up, this place has delicious food, is great to grab a bite to eat when there is ample lighting outside, and/or no one in your party has a disability that would preclude them from taking those stairs
Overall it was nice but we went there for a specific entertainer and there was nobody. No live music. No vegetarian food
Wonderful Friday night on the waterfront. Located at Pier 66, the restaurant was a bit challenging to locate due to dim lighting and a 2nd floor location. Once we arrived, the food, service and especially the environment were ideal. Fish of the day was swordfish, and it was terrific blackened. Nice touch with music from Hollywood Mike. Peaceful setting, romantic and good value.
