Great spot to watch boat activity and the sunset. Great atmosphere
This met our expectation of a casual, moderately priced dockside restaurant with some basic seafood/fish choices. It also provided a westward facing water view from an upper deck with upbeat background music.
Nice atmosphere, friendly waiters. Seafood could be a bit more fresh. There wasn’t anything spectacular you on the menu but the views and wait staff were phenomenal. Will be back for sure.
The atmosphere at this location is excellent. Food is quite tasty. Drinks are great and priced well during happy hour. Can not go wrong with the view.
We had a reservation but realized it was not necessary. The service wasn’t great. They didn’t even acknowledge that we had a reservation. It wasn’t the best day, so the experience isn’t the best. We sat outside while we decided what we wanted. But the server was just not attentive. We decided we didn’t want to stay and she was rude about it.
Delightful setting on the water. Lovely staff and great food
Great location on water. Chicken sandwich was like cardboard. Go for fish taco.
View and atmosphere incredible!!
Pelican Landing is a favorite spot for our family. It is consistently excellent. Service is friendly. The smoked brisket sandwich is top notch! And... the outside seating is dog friendly!
Arrived 45 mins early, mentioned we had a reservation on OT, was it OK to be seated now? No problem they said, we will take care of it. Did not take care of it, got hate mail from OT that asked why we didnt attend. Location is wonderful, great views of Intercoastal Waterway. Got menu from server, showed 4 beers on tap, ordered one....came back and said do not have, ordered another one, came back later and said do not have. Ended up ordering a bottle. Ordered appetizer and 2 entrees. Waited a long time for appetizer. We were not in a rush and the view helped to offset the wait. Conch fritters were quite average. Entrees eventually showed up after a long delay, and were quite average as well. Brought bill when done, didnt come hack to get card for close to 10 mins, then was another 5 mins before we got the bill back. Again, a beautiful location for scenery but need to up their service and food quality.
Food was excellent, very good specials for the super bowl. Our server Rachel was very accommodating.
I dine here pretty much every weekend, and It’s always a wonderful experience. The fish tacos are consistently delicious and the service by Cole, Dana, Cassandra, and Jenny is the best! It’s my favorite place!
Service was extremely slow. The restaurant was not ready to open at 10, my reservation time. I think the staff and customers all arrived at the same time.
The worst part was that the restaurant was dirty. Another guest had a dog. At least two servers proceeded to pet the dog and then deliver food. No hand washing! It is disgusting that a restaurant would allow their staff to pet animals and then handle food. I mentioned it to the manager. He did nothing. I think that is a health code violation.
A great outdoor space with a great view of the Intercoastal
Since it was our first time, wish there was a way someone could have told us that you cannot park near the restaurant since it is on the water. We were walking and it was pouring outside, so a little tricky finding it and our way back to an Uber. BUT, the staff and food made it very worthwhile as everything was great!
Food not bad! Drinks...stick to beer or wine
The best restaurant on the water! Jenny, Cole and all the staff is great !! #amazingfishtaco😍💦🥂
Pelican Landing is a fine place, especially in nice weather! It was amazing to enjoy a sunset at an outside table. We enjoyed the fish tacos and Red Snapper specials, and the half price house wine during happy hour (4 to 6, including a Saturday! The chardonnay and merlot were great) was a very welcome touch. Our waitress was Jenny, who was fun and quite efficient. Kudos to a fine place; Well worth seeking out (it's a bit hard to find and Uber and Lyft will only get you to the end of the parking lot at Pier Sixty Six Hotel, but its a short and very pleasant walk to the appropriate pier) A top notch place to wine, dine and enjoy the Fort Lauderdale breezes by the water.
Exceptional staff, delicious fish tacos, good value. Great live guitarist was a welcome addition.
Pelican Landing has a great setting with a happy hour until 6:00 pm. As a result our drinks were inexpensive . Most of the food is fried. If you like fried food, it's great. The setting overlooking the Fort Lauderdale harbor is nice, but we had a monstrous boat right in front of us which blocked part of the view.
The menu should offer more choices of lunch/dinner dishes
Wonderful experience on our special night out. Our experience exceeded our expectation! Wonderful all around!
Great outside dining with the beautiful sunset. Excellent food. Outstanding margaritas. Friendly and attentive server. Highly recommend.
Great location. Service was very slow but the waiter explained they were transitioning to a new system. Food was good and the tostones is a must try dish.
Too windy and chilly to sit outside for dinner...had we sat outside the scores would have been higher
My husband and I found this restaurant on TripAdvisor and decided we had to try it out. We went here for our anniversary dinner, and couldn't have been happier! It is a walk to the restaurant, basically down a long dock, and many access it via the waterways from their yahts. Upon arriving we went up the stairs and had a gorgeous view of the waterways. Our server Jenny was very thorough, kind, and prompt. Our food was amazing. The conk fritters, ceviche, wings, coriander chicken sandwich, and burger were all amazing! Definitely recommend!
Great outdoor setting with enjoyable music that was just the right volume. Excellent food! Also never received a benefit like an appetizer anywhere else for using Open Table! Great perk!
Celebrated a relative’s Birthday here. The view overlooking the water was beautiful. Nice variety of light fare. I enjoyed the fresh fish tacos. Good assortment of tasty appetizers. The staff was very good. One member of our party walks with a cane and the manager drove her back to the parking lot in a golf cart(long walk down the pier to get to and from the parking lot). Because we were celebrating a birthday they brought us delicious complimentary desserts.
Great food, friendly service, stunning view of the water, and live music to cap off the ambiance. Music was perfect - but not too loud. We came with the family for an early dinner and watched the sunset. The menu was the right balance of family-friendly yet sophisticated. The kids and parents were all happy. This place was one of the highlights of our visit to Fort Lauderdale. We will come back next time we are in town.
Best fish tacos! Server was very down to earth and super friendly!
We had a lovely dinner the evening before our cruise. The fish tacos were as delicious as I remembered from our last visit.
I had a great time with my family. Fresh and tasty food, friendly and nice staff. They accommodate an option for my day out of the regular menu. Amazing desserts. Beautiful view. Sun can be challenging at mid afternoon.
Amazing view, delicious fish tacos and side salad. But service was extremely slow. Waited 45+ minutes for food and another 20 minutes for check after we finished eating.
The four of us went on Christmas Day wanted something without having a fixed menu and casual, pelican Landing was perfect. The weather was gorgeous I loved watching the boats on the intercoastal and although the food was very casual it was perfect for what we were looking for. We had conch fritters , two of us had the hamburger one of us had an appetizer andand the fourth dinner was the fish tacos all was delicious
Great place to eat
Food was disappointing, view was amazing as were the stag
Food was good and the place was nice, yet the water had a fly and they brought me a glass that was dirty. Not what I expected
Great views and great service. Food was good, but the hamberger was undercooked and it was ordered med. May want to consider how you order your food cooked. Overall was a great evening.
Great location for water and boat lovers !
kind of a long walk down the pier. I would not recommended for people with mobility issues about 12 stairs upstairs on the Second Story over the marina Masters office.. the fish tacos and the brisket on a pretzel roll very good.. I would return
