Pei Modern is a new, modern bistro at Four Seasons Hotel Sydney. The restaurant has a capacity to seat 180 patrons in an elegant space.

Pei Modern is considered a foodie restaurant serving a la carte menu providing elegant dishes for guests and a separate bar menu. The restaurant uses the finest produce and techniques implemented by Executive Chef Mark Best considered one of the elite chefs in Australia and Head Chef Joachim Borenius serving delightful dishes.

A very disappointing experience considering the pedigree of the owner. The food was not great and the service was manic even though the restaurant was only a third full. Based on the overall experience the pricing was way over the top.

We enjoyed a very delicious menu served by an energetic and friendly team. We ordered several items to share and all were tasty and served elegantly.

Shame about the service as the food is excellent as is the ambience. Went for a 7.30 dinner with the intention of finishing early enough to see Vivid. By the time the bill was paid it was 11pm & Vivid was over.

The food is safe gourmet paddock to plate style. The presentation is primitive such as full duck in a pan. The setting is in hotel lobby so noise can be quiet or noisier, though pleasant. Staff are experienced and knowledgable about menu.

The restaurant is very loud and the menu is very limited. That said, we enjoyed our dinner very much. It is very convenient in the Four Seasons, and the service is very good (as expected). Limited entrees. Try the Pippis though, they are really fresh. If you go, you MUST have the lamb roast for two. Wow. Super tender. Huge portion. It is really superb and a highlight. Definitely a good restaurant in a great location.

Went to Pei Modern for the first time for Let's Do Lunch.Food and service were excellent.We will definitely be pack to sample the full menu.

We had wonderful food at Pei Modern. Attentive but not overbearing service. Nice ambiance for lunchtime catch up with friends.
