None truly embodies the true spirit of Ireland more than, Peggy Kinnane’s Irish Restaurant and Pub in Arlington Heights. What makes Peggy’s so unique is the fact that virtually every piece of the structure came directly from Ireland. All of the woodwork, including the bars themselves, were constructed and shipped directly from Ireland. Warm weather allows for tables outside around the beautiful perimeter. Children are welcome and free parking is available on the street and in a municipal garage just down the block. A professional staff, an inviting menu and an atmosphere that feels like Ireland all combine to make a visit to Peggy Kinnane’s Irish Restaurant and Pub an authentic and charming experience. We enjoyed our dining experience at Peggy Kinnane's as it was close by since we were seeing a show at the Metropolis Performing Arts Center. The food was very good and a great value for the price. We ordered the Pot Roast Sliders and the Bloom's BBQ Salad along with the Molten Chocolate Cake with Vanilla Ice Cream for dessert. Our server was Colin, and he seemed friendly but a little shy. Not sure if this was one of his first jobs as a server. He was attentive but did not seem that familiar with the menu or the beer selection available. We will be back as the ambiance was busy, and everyone seemed very friendly!

Had a casual dinner of sandwiches (Reuben, BLT, Chicken Salad) which were tasty. The beer selection is very good. The noise level was reasonable for having a conversation with friends.

After an hour and 20 minutes of sitting at our table the manager came over and asked us if we were finished. He was not friendly and gave us the impression we should be leaving. There were empty tables all around and no one was waiting. It’s says the reservation is for 2 hours and we were well under that time limit. Likely will not return. Very turned off.
