The food and service was good. We were pleasantly surprised by the entertainment which was a new band called Somerset the was exceptional.

My friggin car got towed. Not Posted. Right next to public parking. This will certainly affect my decision to return

We're really sorry that your car was towed! Unfortunately a few of the parking lots downtown are private and those owners have contracted a tow company. We obviously never want this to happen to anyone, so to anyone reading this please make sure you park at a metered spot to avoid this situation. We see that you enjoyed the rest of your visit with us so we sincerely hope that you'll reconsider and make a return trip!

The food tasted very good as was the service. However, we were a bit disappointed with the small amount of beef that was in both the beef stew and the beef & ale meals we ordered. While we both liked the sauce in both meals, I would have liked to see almost double the amount of beef when compared to other beef stews we've had in the past (at other restaurants). Beyond that, the ambiance and service were great and we will probably go back to try some other dishes.

Excited to try the restaurant and was impressed with the surroundings when we were seated. Unfortunately the service was very slow. At one point I had to go to the hostess and ask her to find our waitress so we could order a second glass of wine with dinner… Which was getting cold at our table. The hostess replied I am only a hostess and not a waitress… To which I replied can you please find any waitress that could help us. The waitress also dropped off our dinner and failed to take away two empty glasses of wine and our appetizer plates so I had to remove them myself and Move themto the table next to us.

Peddler's Daughter is an old-style Irish Pub, complete with multiple beer taps, wrap-around wooden bar, and comfortable table seating around the bar, some overlooking the Nashua River. Service is attentive yet relaxed. Food is traditional - Irish stew, bangers and mash, and the wonderfully fresh fish-and-chips served up in newspaper with home-made tartar sauce and even the ketchup is home-made. Good value and friendly atmosphere.
