Fish fry Friday and live music. Full house. My first dinner choice not available so had the fish instead. Large servings. Snafu with beverage order which came after inquiry about half way through dinner. We had 2 glasses of water instead. Both Katy and Ben available as servers for good service.

Love the preparation of the prime rib! Lawson does a good job of cooking. Dillon made a perfect drink for Ann. Was fun to see some folks we knew. The live music was just perfect for the atmosphere. Also had breakfast at Peddler's Saturday morning!

A delicious thanksgiving feast for an amaxing price. So many selections and all inclusive including some bubbly and pie. The family were the staff for the evening and we enjoyed talking with them and some other patrons. We were even given the locals discount.

The menu choices were far fewer to those on website. Even with the reduced menu, by 645 pm, most items were no longer available. Several fiod items were frozen and reheater for meal.our server was great, quick and attentive.

The fact that there was no one else there was the first clue. And while our young server, Katy, did an excellent job and was very pleasant to speak with, the food quality left much to be desired. The chicken appeared to be reheated from frozen, the asparagus was a shrivelled stick, and the lettuce in the salad was brown and should have been tossed days ago.

Excellent!! We had the Friday fish fry special - and it was !! Extremely good fish with just the right amount of batter, hand cut fries and slaw, and I'm guessing homemade tartar sauce. My husband truly enjoyed the yummy dessert!! A bonus was the songstress playing on the patio. Lovely voice and selection of covers added to a nice evening out.

We went on Saturday, prime rib night, and our diners were great and just the right portion. All five of us ordered our meat medium rare and were satisfied with the results. The meal was well presented and we will definitely be back.

Wanted some great food, outdoor seating with a wonderful view, and comfort food - this place got 3 check marks. Absolutely go back. Well worth the 50 min drive from Prescott.

This is our 3rd supper experience. We eat very early so there is usually no crowd at all (5 pm) so we have totally dedicated servers whom we all know by name (now). Since Ann has dietary restrictions, Lawson and the 'crew' work hard to make adjustments to menu items for non-dairy options. For example, the potato cakes/casserole was changed to onion rings for her steak dinner. Love the German food options, and we're going through the menu trying items. We've also done a couple breakfasts - loved the Granny Cakes and apples (Ann) and the chicken and waffles (Mike).

The chef came out and asked how everything was good and that we were very happy with our food. Portions were a good size. The dinner rolls were delicious. We had ordered an appetizer and before they served it the waiter was kind enough to warn us it that it was spicy. We declined the appetizer after the warning. We appreciated that. We will return. We hear the Friday fish fry is great!

Was hoping for more a an actual German Restaurant with German meals and selection of German Beers. The service and food was really good. The co-owner did come to table and ask for feed back and explained they are still new. I look forward to our next visit.

The entire experience felt like an episode of punked. The pictures and descriptions on line and on open table were so misleading it was comical. It’s located in a country club and there was no signage that would even remotely indicate the restaurant was even there. Had to call to be directed to the entrance. Once inside the staff and friends were having a lovely little drinking session at the bar. Inside resembled a small cafeteria with the bar being the centerpiece. We opted to eat outside which was equally unremarkable. A mix match of what appeared to be hand me down patio tables with cushions that were likely placed into use some time last century….now the food. The schnitzel was nothing more than a salty chicken Marsala. The two $38 ribeye steaks we ordered turned out to be a New York and a sirloin of some type. Each steak was supposed to come with a German potato cake, but none existed on the plate. When we asked the staff we were told the chef accidentally froze them. They replaced it with a few red potatoes cooked in enough olive oil to grease the axle of a semi. The staff was friendly and attentive however it was clear they had little, if any, idea on how to run a restaurant. We were told it was the second night they were open and they wanted to take it slow…I’d say they set that goal low and accomplished the hell out of it. The entire experience was so bad all we could do was enjoy the drinks and laugh.

Though we thank you for trying, some of your fish had no fish inside, Waffle fries are a very poor option, compared to home fries or baked potato, and there must be coleslaw

We went to the Friday night fish fry. The fish was excellent - batter used was crispy and not greasy at all - with a small handful of waffle fries. That was it for the meal, which was filling enough. The price was right, too. The only thing we would have enjoyed was a nice dessert, but there was none to be had. Maybe in the future?
