About Pecorino Restaurant
"Pecorino: This newcomer from two former Toscano employees is one of the most exciting new restaurants of the year, serving one of the most refreshingly original and authentic Italian menus in the city. Bravo!"
"Choose any dish on Pecorino's menu and travel through Italy while dining! Raffaele will cook your spaghetti "Cacio e Pepe" or "Carbonara" just like the best restaurants in Rome would offer. The "Branzino stuffed with artichoke will make you feel you are in Capri again, the veal chop with Porcini will take you straight to Abruzzi. The strawberry almond cookies "Millefoglie" &the Pecorino cheeses cannot be missed. Ask Mario or Giorgio to suggest their favorite Italian wines and your dining experience can only be duplicated on your next visit to Pecorino (or Italy)."

Pecorino Restaurant Ratings and Reviews
The waitress was helpful and professional. The ambience was charming. I had the cacio e Pepe and it was quite good. My husband had the fettuccine bolognese and enjoyed it as well. The salad was fresh and refreshing and the dessert was creative and delicious.
We went on Valentine's Day, so maybe not a good time to judge. The food was good. The courses were brought out too quickly, I guess to make room for the next group. We were in and out within an hour. The waiters were yelling to other waiters and rushing back and forth by us throughout the meal. Not very relaxing or romantic considering the occasion. The waitperson was fine and the restaurant itself attractive and cozy. Would not do that again.
We have dined at Pecorino on numerous occasions and have always enjoyed the food, atmosphere and friendly service. On this particular evening I had the Burrata for a starter and then Spaghetti w/ Lobster for dinner and my wife had Carbonara. Both were excellent. Brentwood (San Vicente Blvd) is filled with a number of good Italian restaurants and while on San Vicente Pecorino can sometimes be forgotten, but the food and service are a great reminder, we will be back.
Everything was top notch delicious . My girlfriend noticed that for the first time in our 5 years history I did not offer her a taste of my pasta. It was so good I didn’t want to share it. The chef treated us to a decadent pear dessert . I didn’t leave a Crum of it. Great dining experience . We will be back.
Pecorinos continues to be our “go to” place for a great meal and relaxing dinner. The food is only outdone by the excellent and friendly service. The owner will do most of the cooking and waiters will offer friendly advise on the what is best for your tastes. The specials are usually what i try, but its only because we go often. What an exceptional find among so many average Italian restaurants.
Always terrific. Some of the best pasta around. The special house made thick spaghetti with cacio e Pepe (cheese and pepper) is phenomenal. The special (though they have it most nights) sole covered in thinly sliced potatoes, zucchini, cherry tomoatoes and pecorino cheese is delicious. Service is always friendly and beyond solid. Highly recommend pecorino.
I was a little disappointed. My fish $38 was cold. Everything is ala cart. They now charge $6 for bread and their dip. Dinner took 30-45 minutes - not a normal dining experience! Other Italian restaurants in the area start their service with veggies, bread and dip with a couple serving complementary prosecco...
This is one of the best Italian restaurants in Los Angeles! We ordered the home made pasta with pepper and olive oil that was mixed in a giant shell of pecorino cheese. I cannot remember the last time I ate better pasta and will make this a "go to" restaurant for all of my Westside meetings.
Burata for 2 was seriously chewy - and at $36.00 - a total rip off
Waiter said it was"fresh off the plane".. maybe right off the plane - but it was far from "fresh"
Spaghetti house special with Pecorino and Pepper - spaghetti was VERY thick - and seriously al dente - not especially appetizing
Service was excellent though and ambiance was nice
Beautiful, cozy, and inviting Italian restaurant with exceptionally good pasta dishes, especially the cacio e pepe tossed in a huge bowl made out of pecorino cheese, and a fantastic fish dish with thin, perfectly cooked layers of zucchini & squash. The fava bean soup is also wonderful and unique. That said, bread is normally served (with olive oil) before an Italian meal, but here there is a $6 charge for a basket, and it wasn't fresh from the oven, so would recommend skipping that unnecessary and odd expense in favor of saving room for the wonderful pear gratin dessert or chocolate mint mousse.
