Not enough staff on the floor, mains took 90mins to arrive. Entrees arrived wrong 4 times, 1 side dish was wrong.
Just write down the order! Food was very average compared to Insta photos. Staff if you can catch them were lovely.

Food was delicious, we went there to celebrate our friends baby, born any minute now!
There were actually 3 pregnant girls, and the lovely waitress offered to make a virgin cocktail which was amazing!
Interior is very 5 star, cannot WAIT to come back!!

My second time to Peca and I was extremely disappointed. Incredibly noisy, food was cold and bland. Drink staff were uneducated and spilling drinks. The room was full of smoke from the fire in the second room. Overall it was a disaster! Certainly a far cry from how good it was when it first opened. Shan't be going back!

Considering the price point that this restaurant comes in at, and its claim to meet the standard of more fine dining restaurants in the city, unfortunately it falls short. The entrees were ok but not amazing - only receiving 6 small pieces of squid for the cost wasn't great, although the olives were probably the most tasty thing we had all night. The focaccia was also stale! It was the mains however where it fell down. My pasta was undercooked and under seasoned. Roast potatoes were cold, and the pumpkin was bland. The serving portions of the mains were big, but would rather the quality be improved than getting a lot of food with it tasting lackluster.

Waitresses and waiter were nice and attentive, friendly but not in your face.

This place has so much potential but you either need to reduce the price point (and hence the expectation of your guests), or up the game in the kitchen. I gave benefit of the doubt when reading prior reviews, but unfortunately they were accurate. Get the chefs to taste before the food goes out - because if they are well trained chefs, they would be able to pick up the errors with their food before it goes out unsatisfactorily.

A lovely restaurant with delicious food. It does sit at the higher price range but if you're looking for a fancy night out, this is the place.

I was hosting lunch for an important client.

Food was great quality however 4 guests ordered steak and the kitchen only had 2, yet we were the ONLY guests in the restaurant the entire time. Also the 2 steaks that were provided were just a steak slapped on a plate. Very POOR presentation and nothing to accompany the steak at all.

Some guests wanted a Peroni Light beer but the bar was out of stock.

Guest's orders were mixed up when brought to the table.

As mentioned we were the ONLY table in the entire restaurant so atmosphere was awfull.

Sorry but not a lot of good things to mention unfortunately.

Was hoping for a much different experience.

Apart from our drink order coming out wrong a few times - im pressuming not enough staff on as poor table service.

We have dined a few times and never had an issue - but left disappointed on Saturday.

Also for a Fine Dining restaurant, was an eye sore to see the bar covered in dirty glasses.

And also suggest regular clean of bathrooms.

Hence probably need more staff per head.

Food was nice and enjoyable.

Overall was a good dining experience, food was very good, wine selection was good. Only negative was that felt like we were rushed out as they had to many people waiting to be seated at the door and in the bar area, still had 20 minutes left on our 2 hour sitting and was given the bill and told to pay at the counter.

I find it rather exciting to find a restaurant of this quality less than an hour’s drive from home. And in southwestern sydney at that, a place many people consider low class.

Amazing ambience and food, and lovely staff. Points lost as we had a 7:15 booking and were not seated until 8, mains came out at 9:20 and had cooled down by the time they arrived.

Beautifully fitted out restaurant at first glance with a promising impression; no expense spared from the decor to the glassware.

Wait staff appeared frantically busier than the room capacity, humorously I did end up with accidental splashes of olive oil in my old fashioned while being served breads to start which I was suggested was too old of a beverage for me. I didn’t have the heart to say anything, our server was already sweating through his shirt, frantic pace; also I wasn’t willing to wait a while again for my first drink again.

Rock oysters were lovely, lamb loin done well, however pappardelle lamb could have used 3-4 more minutes, al dente has a fine line. Biggest let down for me, the paella. Risotto isn’t paella unfortunately and I had to sneak on a salt sachet to continue, very wet and the seafood contents chewy, baby food texture. Roast potatoes were done well although wait staff did recommend shoestring truffle fries.

Looking around all the surrounding upper class effort I didn’t think such a suggestion had a place on their dinner menu. Amazing wine selection top to bottom although the wine arrived nearing the end of mains; for the size of their bar and spirits selection one would assume a more expansive cocktail selection also.

Dessert menu was uninspiring which by this stage I caught a glimpse of the neighboring table ordering the seafood for two platter, dodged a bullet for the price and size comparison. Opted for coffee to end the night. Left it on the table after a single sip.

Before settling the $300 bill for 3, I quickly ducked into the bathroom. Floor pebbles are starting to lift and come away; somewhat of an omen perhaps. Presenting as a upmarket haven to socialize with friends on a weekend without going into the CBD, the basics were missed at every turn. That’s all that’s needed to improve the experience. Cuisine basics which missed terribly for me.

Great service and ambience, however, fresh produce is not so fresh and ruined the overall experience of the meal. We got the seafood platter for two, the oysters were warm and sour and the crab had no meat in it. By the time we got to the muscles they were cold, everything came out at once and was hard to eat it all in time to enjoy a warm meal. The strawberries in the dessert were also under ripen and had no taste, making our dessert underwhelming also. Overall we enjoyed ourselves, however the food quality ruined the experience especially after paying $400 for dinner!

Second visit here and as beautiful as the venue is the food is just on the same level. Starters were okay, the burrata and wagyu capaccio nothing memorable. We also ordered the WA lobster which was a small half shell lobster diced into tiny pieces and dressed with far too much dill, we weren't expecting anything much larger as it is only $32 but the execution was bland and unappealing. The "dry aged" steak came out overcooked, we sent it back and another arrived within minutes, to us it didn't have any rich beef flavour that you usually get with dry aged this again was not great, we didn't finish it. I personally wouldn't return again but hope they do improve the food as our area deserves to have better dining options.

Food was incredible, but service was disappointing for fine dining. Asked for sparkling water, instead received still tap water, charged at $9 per bottle x 2. If they left the bottle on our table so we could help ourselves, I would be happy, but they half filled our glasses and took the bottle away and were not attentive with refilling glasses, unless we asked. When I asked for more water they didn't let me know if we had finished our bottle, just added it to our bill. I was very suspicious if we had in fact finished our first bottle of water as they were 1L bottles and we only had 2 half glasses each. They keep all the open bottles of water along the edge of the bar - our waitress was a little ditzy, so it wouldn't surprise me if our bottle got mixed up with another table.

They only left a bottle of water on our table just as we finished dessert - too late for us to have with our meal, and it was at this point I took the opportunity to examine the bottle - very obvious they were not refrigerated, sealed bottles, as there were no remains of a seal around the neck, and no condensation. They keep the open bottles in a row along the bar - I would have felt better if they at least opened the bottle in front of me for hygiene reasons, especially during covid.

The waitress wasn't very knowledgeable about the menu, and was a little forgetful during our time there. Thank goodness the food and cocktails were amazing, but for fine dining and the price we paid (almost $370), I expected better service.

The atmosphere is really nice & architecturally interesting. Our waitress and other staff we encountered were nothing short of lovely. And of course, the food... the food was stunning. There wasn’t anything we ordered that we regretted or wouldn’t order again. Perfect special anniversary dinner, thank you!

Went recently. First time dining there. Two of the mains unavailable as they’d had a function which is really not acceptable at a restaurant in this segment. So we ordered the seafood platter which at $180 for two people isn’t cheap. We asked the waitress what was on it which wasn’t what we received. The quality was average and the quantity wasn’t enough to fill two people. The sides were ordinary too. All in all very disappointing for a meal that expensive. We won’t be going back.
