We came to celebrate my husband's birthday. We ordered 3 appetizers and 2 mains....the salad and the chicken satay were excellent but the shrimp toast was a bit soggy....the angel hair pasta and the rice cake bolognese were both very tasty....our server was very attentive....she even gave my husband a piece of cheesecake for his birthday, compliments of the restaurant....what a pleasant surprise.

Food is average , over priced, air conditioning is not enough, no sun screen and sunlight is always on you , strong reflection. This is a restaurant which you will always need sun glasses and a fan with you . Then you will want to leave right away and hurry eat your food. Not a good place to enjoy your meal. Choice of dish is limited. The only good thing is the Foir Gras toast is good but pricy. I wont return.

Overpriced and underwhelming food. I don’t even know what the curry crab rice was about. It was heavy corn starch sauce with some spice flavour. Also ordered shrimp and scallop toast, bone marrow, pear blue cheese salad, lobster wonton, spicy taro cocktail. The toast was like baby food on the inside with over greased bread. Bone marrow was too roasted and over powered with just crispy garlic bits. Nothing special about the salad… it’s a salad. Lobster wonton was rubbery with cheap store bought wonton wrapper. Cocktail tasted like a watered down taro bubble tea. Service was attentive though. Food = no thanks. Will not come back here.

We chose this restaurant because it was close to the movie theatre and had no expectations The food was really good with nice spins on some traditional fare. I will say the menu was small and some items were very expensive I think it’s a good special occasion place. I would recommend

Really great experience. Staff was so friendly and helpful to make my occasion a special one. Delicious food and very cool cocktails. Awesome spot.

Pretty restaurant, okay food. Do not recommend the shrimp scallop toast, too greasy. Tuna poke was tasty and flavourful, went well with the taro chips. Other food was okay. Drinks were pretty.

Overall, we have an outstanding service from the food quality and service from Pears restaurant Team. Chef Leo, Clara and team who worked hard to make sure our dinner was a memorable experience. The fireworks / birthday candle was a special touch from the team!

Not much choice on the menu. Foods are good but not outstanding. Foods display good. Beverages are on high side. Cocktail prices are kind of high. Food portions are not big.

✨ New fave alert! ✨ Just had the most AMAZING experience at Pear in Markham Downtown and I’m still thinking about it 😍 From the gorgeous ambiance to the exceptional service, everything was on point. The food? Absolutely mouthwatering — every dish was packed with flavor and beautifully plated like a work of art 🎨🍽️ We were served by Katie! Pears was a very modern, chic restaurant. The crab curry was a crowd favourite, and overall the dishes were well executed and flavourful. Also got to try the truffle sesame cheesecake, which was such a surprising combination but the ingredients worked well together!
