We sat outside and had a lovely evening at town center! Our food was awesome and our server made us feel very welcomed and taken care of! Would recommend
Had the butter brown shrimp. It was good very tasty also the eggplant was excellent
Went out with my family for dinner and from beginning to end hostess, waitress and bartender all very sweet and polite and accommodating. Definitely recommending to my friends
Great bday dinner. The outside seating was very comfy. Food was GREAT!
Our experience was excellent. Our server was pleasant and attentive and the food was delicious. Given the pandemic, we were pleasantly surprised by the scope of the menu.
Great service, AMAZING food, and a very nice environment. I have come here multiple times, have ordered something different each time, and am never disappointed. The kitchen is very cautious of gluten allergies as well! Amazing gluten free options.
Variety of items to choose. Food and portion size was good. We sat at high top table near entrance. Next time would ask to sit further away from entrance. People waiting to be seated were very distracting!
The short rib cheese steak was delicious and they have a great beer selection.
Everything was very good, always enjoy going there. The only reason I gave service 3 stars was we felt a little rushed, our salad, soup and app all came out at the same time, then not even half way through the soup our main courses cake out.
Our server was very good and polite when we mentioned it was to quick. So not a knock on him.
Great Valentine's meal! Some people don't want to go out for Valentine's Day because the restaurants are all too expensive and too busy to give good service. They obviously haven't tried Pearly's. The place was buzzing, but we got attentive and cordial service and a great meal without a wait and for a reasonable price. The scallops appetizer and the crab-stuffed sole were unusually good. The steak tagliata was cooked just as requested and seasoned perfectly. Sure it was louder than usual, but we expected that. We'll be back, and sooner the next time.
Been here several times this year since it’s close to our local theatre and have not been disappointed. Food is always good, prepared correctly and the servers are very friendly and helpful
Poor service. Edited at least 45 minutes for our food. Everyone else in the restaurant received their food and we just kept waiting. When the food finally came the fries were cold, and the burgers were not cooked as requested and had to be sent back.
What should have been a fun dinner after a play at the state theatre turned into an over 2 hour ordeal Will not be going back nor recommending
Our service was horrible. Wouldn’t go back.
We had a horrible server. We waited 15 minutes to get a dessert menu and when the server came over to our table he said oh no menus yet !! We just asked for the check and left. We will probably never go back there again
We have been to Pearly’s many times over the years. We were not happy with service or food. Burgers and fries looked like they were literally thrown on the plate. Crab wontons were over cooked, and the asparagus chewy and yellowish. The lentil burger cake with NO lettuce tomato nor onion, and had a squirt of chipotle sauce on the very dry bun. The server was so busy, we didn’t complain, paid the bill and left. Very disappointing, as I made reservations almost a week in advance and it was my brother’s birthday. Also, at the bar and dinner, we dropped $300. The hostess was rough too. She tried to be nice, but she belongs in the bar only, not greeting guests. We will think twice about visiting again.
Food was very good
The cauliflower flatbread is worth a return visit alone. server helped with recommendations as this was our first visit. will be going back!
Four of us dined together for restaurant week. Two of us ordered duck and two of us ordered lobster. All plates had to go back because they were raw. The lobster plates had to go back a second time because they were still raw. The manager did try to rectify it and the waitress was accommodating; however, the overall experience was not good.
Great vegetarian choices!
First time there, boy were we impressed! Great variety.. French onion and Brussels sprouts to die for! Cauliflower flatbread, Brie and fig grilled cheese and carrot cake.. fantastic. Did I mention the beer👍
Going back next wee!
We were there Sunday Dec. 22nd at 6pm. We waited 70 minutes for our meal.
One of the entrees was under-cooked salmon.
Food was excellent and very reasonably proced. We had dinner after a show at the State Theater on a Sunday afternoon. Restaurant wasn't overly crowded so the service seemed a bit slow. Took >20 minutes to receive our appetizer and about 50 minutes to get our entrees. Server did not stop by to update us on the food or to check on our drinks. Seemed both wait staff and front greeters were hustling in and out of the kitchen, so maybe it was short staffing. Despite the slower service on this visit, we would definitely visit again.
We had reservations nearly 2 hours before a show at State Theater. It took nearly an hour for our salads to come out and then after 1.5 hours our entrees still did not arrive so we had to leave without eating. The waiter was apologetic and tried to enter the food early but it still seemed that the kitchen was grossly understaffed. The restaurant was busy but tables were open. The manager did try to make amends by only charging us for our salads and not for drinks (one alcoholic and 2 sodas) which was little compensation for empty bellies to watch the show.
Nice pre-concert meal. Thank you.
Excellent food. Excellent service! Darlene was fantastic!
had a great evening . food was good and service was great!
We only had one problem at our table. My wife's burger was not cooked enough the first time she received it and the second time it was not finished properly. Really disappointed as this did not happen any other time we were there.
Our server, sadly I cannot remember her name, Was incredibly outgoing. She had an endearing quality. We had soup, salad, fish tacos. All we’re amazin, especially the light dressing on the pear salad.
My daughter had the gin drink- superb!
In town for a show and must stop in again when we’re in the area.
We’ve been to Pearly Bakers several times and liked it but was very disappointed this time. We waited about 50 minutes to get our dinners which were just burgers, nothing fancy. The waiter kept apologizing for the delay, a manager came out of the kitchen to tell us it would be about 3 minutes. It was about 10-12 more minutes. The burgers were over cooked and were not without onions as requested. The manager said not to worry we’d get to our show on time. We did because we rushed through our dinners when they finally came. We have always liked Pearly Bakers but wouldn’t go back after this experience.
I've been ti Pearly Baker's many, many times. With friends, family, or alone. Always good food and drinks and atmosphere.
I was charged for a beer that I didn’t receive. $7 plus tax$.50plus tip $1.40.
$ 8.90 extra.
Food was fine. Nothing special but okay pre-theater
My husband I enjoyed our visit to Pearly Baker’s very much. Our server was very friendly and made sure everything was to our satisfaction. The cauliflower flatbread was very tasty, and, although it could have used a little more spice, the blackened chicken sandwich was delicious.
Cool building. Service was great, food was decent. My burger came out room temperature and cheese looked like it was thrown on last minute. Drinks were okay. My husbands salmon was mediocre and a very small portion. Appetizers were pretty good.
Overall I don’t think we will visit again.
We felt welcomed and not rushed. Good food. Great atmosphere. Parking in garage or out front. Thanks for letting us have a good time with friends!
It was fine. For me me it was like high end pub fare.
Noisy pub, good wings, good beer, good service, would definitely go back.
We went on Halloween so it was fairly quiet. My friend ordered one of their signature cocktails, but they didn't have the ingredients to make it. I ordered a specialty seasonal cocktail, which they came out to tell me not to get because no one liked it (which I appreciated). I switched to a traditional cosmopolitan which tasted like alcohol and lacked good flavor, which a cosmo usually has. My friend ordered a lamb burger which came out cold and raw inside. My french onion soup was good. My Corned beef sandwich was good. I spent $31 for soup, sandwich and one drink. All in all, a meh experience.
Service was excellent, timely, and the food pretty good. Great drink menu too. The pumpkin espresso martini was amazing...had 3 lol.
Waiter forgot to give us bread with dinner. Water glasses were not refilled. Never got that second glass of wine. Just got back from Ireland with a real Irish coffee. You need to learn to make it correctly. On the web page reservation, we could not pick the table. Do not like sitting in the middle of the restaurant. Asked for the corner table. Hostess said it was reserved, but no one sat at the table while we were there.
Love the atmosphere great food as well service was excellent
