Located right on the circle in downtown Easton, Pearly Baker's has been a staple of the downtown Easton restaurant scene for 24 years.
Cool building. Service was great, food was decent. My burger came out room temperature and cheese looked like it was thrown on last minute. Drinks were okay. My husbands salmon was mediocre and a very small portion. Appetizers were pretty good.
Overall I don’t think we will visit again.
We felt welcomed and not rushed. Good food. Great atmosphere. Parking in garage or out front. Thanks for letting us have a good time with friends!
It was fine. For me me it was like high end pub fare.
Noisy pub, good wings, good beer, good service, would definitely go back.
We went on Halloween so it was fairly quiet. My friend ordered one of their signature cocktails, but they didn't have the ingredients to make it. I ordered a specialty seasonal cocktail, which they came out to tell me not to get because no one liked it (which I appreciated). I switched to a traditional cosmopolitan which tasted like alcohol and lacked good flavor, which a cosmo usually has. My friend ordered a lamb burger which came out cold and raw inside. My french onion soup was good. My Corned beef sandwich was good. I spent $31 for soup, sandwich and one drink. All in all, a meh experience.
Service was excellent, timely, and the food pretty good. Great drink menu too. The pumpkin espresso martini was amazing...had 3 lol.
Waiter forgot to give us bread with dinner. Water glasses were not refilled. Never got that second glass of wine. Just got back from Ireland with a real Irish coffee. You need to learn to make it correctly. On the web page reservation, we could not pick the table. Do not like sitting in the middle of the restaurant. Asked for the corner table. Hostess said it was reserved, but no one sat at the table while we were there.
Love the atmosphere great food as well service was excellent
The food was outstanding and the service was great.
Had a miscommunication with the server/kitchen. There was a green curry sauce on my meal that was so spicy it made the meal inedible. However, the situation was handled beautifully by the manager!! Will definitely go back.
Good beer selection
Pre-theater dinner. Ordered 4 small plates for table to share. All delicious! Had the Honey Chipotle wings, the Roasted Brussels Sprouts, Avocado Cheddar Biscuits and Fig & Brie Grilled Cheese. Great beer selection.
We didn’t order from the special menu due to food allergies. The staff was accommodating with regard to those allergies, however one item was OVER cooked AKA BURNED, one under cooked. FFs were from the day before. It seemed that those that didn’t order from the special menu were second class patrons. Will try an other restaurant next time.
Very disappointed that the restaurant week, v started today, for every other restaurant listed, expert this one. When we asked to talk to a manager he basically discussed us like we had no idea what we were talking about. Don't think I'll be going back anytime soon.
Good for pub-type food, nice selections of cocktails and beers.
We were there on a busy Friday night. Food was amazing. It took almost an hour to get our drinks though. :( Restaurant was a little loud but that was to be expected. Salads were huge but the entrees were a bit small.
Female manager was great! Very attentive, friendly, made the visit amazing!
Supper with my son before a show
Definitely recommend & we will be back!
Service slow then both courses arrived together.
Unfortunately I think that while the food may be gluten free, it’s probably cooked with other things that aren’t gluten free. I had the wings, beyond burger and the fries that came with it. I was sick the rest of the weekend and I’m still having some stomach problems today. This is a dilemma that lots of restaurants face when trying to serve the gluten free community. They don’t realize that the food has to be cook separately or their customers are going to get sick.
Great dining experience!! Our waitress was very attentive and the manager stopped by to make sure all was fine. We told them we were going to a show and they made sure that we were processed very quickly.
Food was excellent, much better than average bar food. Ambiance is also quite good, as is location, right on square in Easton. Hostess was very friendly.
Made last minute reservation, team was very accommodating, service fantastic, food delicious. Will be back!
Servers were friendly and very busy! Probably could have used 1-2 extra servers on the Saturday night we went. Food was good and fairly priced. Building was really neat, not something you see everywhere. Took a star off for lack of drink options - kept having to ask for something different. Overall would go back!
Our fries could have been a bit crispier, but other than that, the evening at Pearly Bakers was fantastic!
Waited an hour for two burgers, had to tell the manager we did not get our food because waitress was too busy talking outside to be bothered to do her job. We have been customers for twenty years, won't be going back again.
We had a lovely, delicious dinner at Pearly Baker's on a Thursday evening. The menu is extensive and creative. Our server was happy, attentive and well spoken. The bartender came over to ask how our drinks were and the hostess stopped by to make sure we were happy. We truly felt as if our patronage was valued. There are so many interesting things on the menu that we made a vow to come back soon to try something different. I highly recommend it!
The food an service is excellent!
Service was excellent, we needed to be served and finish our meal in order to attend a show at the local theater and the staff made sure that our request was met. Thank you!!
Sat upon arrival. Waitress was pleasant. Food took a long time to come out but we did have a party of 7. Food was exceptional. Noise level was a bit high for a restaurant.
Interesting interior in historic building. Nice bar area.
Food was excellent and nicely presented.
Will go there again!
They need more than one gluten free alcoholic beer/cider choice
The greeting upon arriving was lovely. The hostess informed us of a delay regarding the show we were seeing at the local theater. The food however was not hot, overly salted, bland and not what was stated on the menu. The chicken carbonara was mostly peas and the dish came with a raw egg sitting to the side. It was a weird interpretation of the dish
Pre-show meal. Was quick, brought all food out at same time, graciously offered to hold main until ready. Proceeded at a nice pace, overall very good experience. Thanks !
Just a poor overall experience. They were out of menus when we were sat and we had to ask several people several times to get menus. Got bread and appetizers with no silverware. Butternut squash soup was cold and just not good. French onion was very good. The majority of our party ordered burgers and apparently they ran out of buns and substituted gluten free buns for all of our burgers. They were terrible. So bad. No one ever informed us we’d be getting gf buns (if they had told us before they made our food we would’ve ordered something different). Dennis tried to take care of us but I feel he dropped the ball. It’s been years since I’ve been to Pearlys and it will probably be years again before I ever go back if I ever do.
No wait for our reserved table - service was quick and our appetizers and dinners were served very quickly. Excellent ribeye steak - didn't even need a steak knife to cut it. The scallops which were a special were excellent!
It was good.
Bartender was wonderful and my husband said it was the best dirty vodka martini he ever had. It was restaurant week so we had a limited menu
The food was amazing and the prices were low. The service was good at first....then it got busy. Then the service slowed and it took forever for us just to get our check pay and leave. We were a quiet couple of two and they seated a huge party neck to us who were ridiculously rude and loud. Overall the experience was good but my advice to management would be not to sit a huge group next to a small couple. They were loud and annoying and obnoxious. It really ruined the great mood that was in the room before we got there. Obviously not the restaurants fault that people don’t know how to act but definitely the restaurants fault for seating us as so.
