Pearl Street Grill & Brewery
For a great after-work venue with your colleagues, the Pearl Street Grill & Brewery really can't be beat. There are ample choices of beer on tap, and the menu options include something for everyone. Appetizers at Pearl Street Grill & Brewery range from traditional chicken wings to onion rings, while the fish and chips as a main course has become a regular dish for many patrons.
There is plenty to do and see at Pearl Street Grill & Brewery. The atmosphere is electric, making it an ideal place to take the family, a date or to have a corporate party. Be sure to stop in if you are in the area to see why it is such a hit with the locals.
We arrived with a reservation with 2 young children and were sat at a front table near the door which would have been fine if the restaurant were full but it was nowhere near that. It was breezy and cold and basically in the bar with a 3 and a 5 year old. That coupled with terrible food and service was not a good experience. Definitely won’t be in a hurry to go back.
The Pearl Street Grill & Brewery is one of downtown Buffalo’s staples. It has a friendly and fun atmosphere. There are quite a few tables, so even when dining after a downtown sporting event, wait times are reasonable. My son and I dined here after an early hockey game. I made a reservation during the game and we were immediately seated upon arrival. My son had a plate of honey mustard wings which he enjoyed and I had a turkey and avocado wrap which was also very good. It was big enough that I took half home for my wife to enjoy. We each started with a cup of the Gouda soup. I wish I had gotten a bowl as it was quite good. Our server was attentive and polite. The bill was exceptionally reasonable. I could easily see a family dining here and not breaking their entertainment budget. This is a great place to go with friends for drinks and pub fare or with the family for a fun dinner.
Great food! Fun time as always!
This was my second time dinning here and the food has bee great both times!! The staff is very friendly.
Made reservations prior to a concert. Worked out great. Good food and beer. Waiter was very nice. It was a nice day so we walked the boardwalk to the concert. Good day.
I brought a group of 7 people for dinner. The food was very good, especially the pot roast and kielbasa. Our waiter, Joe, was very personable and handled our needs expertly and calmly. The sound level was a bit high in the beginning, but leveled off when patrons left for the concert. Fun place to go with reasonable prices.
Our waiter was fantastic! He was really helpful and made sure our drinks weren't empty.
Food was great and our waiter was awesome. The atmosphere was fun.
Awesome food, great waitperson
Busy night due to a concert but the food and drinks were good!
Everything is good and have no problems. This is my favorite place to come.
Food was amazing and our server was attentive and great
Sabres home opener. Place was buzzing and food and beer was great before going to game. A must go to if heading to game. Remember reservations. Good food and great place!
Employees didn't seem very happy and the food was under cooked. Proably will not return.
Great spot for pre game food and drink. Highly recommend.
Came for Phil Collins. I’m glad I made a reservation. Food was delicious. Highly recommend. Will definitely come back
The food was amazing. You won't be disappointed.
We had the beef pot Roast on a potato pancake with gravy, baked apples and fresh green beans. Sounds strange, but the flavor combinations were delish.
Good food and great service!
I had high expectations but they weren't fulfilled. The chicken wings are excellent but the burgers and pot roast were mediocre. It was disappointing overall.
Food was delicious. Good service. Highly recommend!
The food here was excellent and building itself is very unique! It was quite busy so having a reservation was definitely a good idea! The pizza and wings were delicious! Our waiter was a little forgetful....didn't bring us extra sauce we asked for and never came to refill drinks...but it was busy. We were sat near a table with several very young, very poorly behaved children so the poor waiter was busy cleaning up after them every 2 seconds. Anyway, eat here!
Decided to have a quick lunch before heading to the airport and found this place to be very intriguing. Enjoyed the bar like atmosphere and food. Tried chicken wings with the flavor of beef on weck! They were messy but favorable. Great service too!
Everything was great about our first visit there. The food was delicious, waitress was very nice to us, good atmosphere.
Location to parking and the Sabres game was perfect!
Only one downfall. My son and I went to second floor to play pool/hockey.
We needed change. Waitress at bar wouldn’t give us change unless we bought something. I told her we just ate downstairs. She said we needed to buy something for her to open register.
I feel she could have done something for us.
Otherwise had a good time, thank-you
We were a group of 3 families that all showed up within minutes 15 minutes of eachother. I had made the reservation and was the last of 3 to arrive. The host(s) told me there was no reservation for our group. I insisted there was so they sent me upstairs to the bar to check. They also said there were no reservations under that name but we could go on the patio where there were still tables available. We rearranged the tables on the patio to accomodate our group. This whole ordeal was about 30 minutes of getting the run around. When I went back downstairs to see if the rest of the group was waiting at the door, they were already happily seated in a back corner and had no problem using my name for the reservation. I was not pleased at the runaround we received.
This being said, our server and meal were fantastic.
Good pub food and atmospheres
Wait staff was excellent. Good was superb .
Average food, decent service. Waitress was friendly.
Always happy with the experience at pearl st . It’s my go to before events downtown
We had a great time. Excellent waitress and food was top notch
Boat tour package
Our waitress was friendly
The food was tasty
The food came out at a good time and it was hot
All servers were friendly and helpful
We have been to the Pearl Street before 3 or 4 times and enjoyed each visit. This time we brought friends along and as we were ordering our server said to us, "Didn't they tell you that the grill isn't working today?" We were not told as we entered the restaurant and it affected all of our food choices. If we were told we would have gone to another restaurant. Our server was friendly but it was a very disappointing visit.
It was a unique atmosphere but the grills were broken and we did not find out until after we ordered our drinks and appetizers. Therefore, we had to find something to order on the menu that was not cooked on the grill.
Our waitress was terrific. She was very attentive and timely. What a delight.
However, there were fruit flies. And yes, we were eating inside! And a lot of fruit flies.
Lastly, we were placed at a round table under a vent that was dripping on my mother in law.
We scheduled the dinner through the Spirit of Buffalo ship your. The choice of items on the menu were limited but they are very good dinners. I highly recommend coming and enjoying the Buffalo waterfront and Pearl Street Grill.
Marissa our server was delightful. Overall very positive experience. Thank you.
Great food and atmosphere. Good service. Love the place and location is good too.
Was just curious how my sisters name ( Peg Povinelli) got on my reservation. They called be Patty tho when we got there. It just struck me odd that her name was on the email reservation.
First off I usually write reviews when things are exceptional or really bad, this has a little of both. We love Buffalo, took an overnight to see the Tall Ships. Pearl Street was a close walk from our hotel. Aesthetically it was what we expected, we arrived early and had a drink and played some darts...although we only had 2 darts with tips, when we asked they said they didn’t have any, no worries, we made do and had fun. When it was time to eat we were seated downstairs. That’s when things went south. Our waitress was a miserable! No smile, it was like we were a big burden that she did not have time for. She was point blank rude, from the moment she approached our table until we left. Maybe she had a bad day, maybe her dog died, her significant other broke up with her, I am ok with that, but if others have taken the time to write a negative review because of her attitude, then it’s time management takes notice. She is in the wrong business, perhaps a prison guard job would be more suitable. Other than that we really liked the place, and I never would have thought that the chicken wings would have inspired a debate about weather or not they were better than Duffs.....but it happened. The food was very very good!
