Only the second time I have been here, and it was a great experience. Well priced, especially for seafood. We had gumbo, which albeit a bit salty, was great. We were seated at a table at first, but asked to move to a booth and were accommodated. The service was great, which I do not expect in these times because of staffing issues and costs. A great experience!

We ordered oysters, chowder and entrees (catfish and sea bass special). Quality and flavor of all was very good. Cocktails did not disappoint either. Staff was warm and attentive and our server, Roxie, was great. Our only peeve was the 4% surcharge for paying by credit card (build that into pricing). It was off-putting. If there's a surcharge, it should go to the staff.

This is an exceptional dining experience! The food is outstanding - of course the raw bar is wonderful and every entree is developed with such depth of flavor - truly authentic! The cocktails are unique and prepared to look as good as they taste! Really great for a date night, special occasion, or simply a night out with friends!

We had an amazing meal for our anniversary. The wait staff was attentive and efficient, and the food was delish! The oysters were amazing quality, and the seafood gumbo and what cats dream of dishes were flavorful and perfectly cooked. Our cocktails were tasty and the beignets are a must. We can’t wait to come back!

We had a party of 5 big eaters so we were able to try so many different dishes. Our waitress was very helpful in directing us to the best items. The raw oysters were immaculate and fresh, the pan seared scallops were amazing, the wood grilled oysters were out of this world. Steak Frites were great. 2 different mussel dishes were wonderful. Overall fantastic meal!

Great oysters last night. My wife and 2 friends come almost every Monday and oysters are usually really good but sometimes they are fantastic, like last nights Oystermania! We finished with mussels which were plump, tender, and in a perfect broth. Service was spot on. A little loud but manageable without taking too loud.

The most uncomfortable restaurant I've been in for many years. Crowded together, hard chairs. Not a pretty interior, and very very loud. Service was excellent, food was good but not special something to go out of the way for. Okay, perhaps, for a fast, casual stop by.

Wonderful dinner. Our server was the best! We had the oysters Rockefeller and tchoptukas. Delicious! The only disappointment was the wine. Should have stay with cocktails! The gruner didn’t hold up yo the jambalaya and shrimp and grits.

2nd time here and well worth the Uber/Cab ride from the center of DC. Food is great (I love the Jambalaya) and great oysters. Perfect Old Fashioned too. And the service was stellar. I actually had an 8:15 reservation and we showed up at 7:30 and they were gracious enough to seat us early.

The food and the server really made our experience. All the food was very good, the mussels were exceptional, and so was the gumbo! Our server was the sweetest girl, I wish I could remember her name, but she was funny, sweet and knowledgeable. She knew we had a concert to go to so she made sure that we got out of there on time, even though we took our time deciding on everything. It was a little cold, because the front windows were all open, but once more people came in the restaurant, we all felt fine. Overall, we had a great time!

Such a fun spot! I wish I could offer more about my experience but I was solo and it was a pre dinner stop do not a lot to report. My server was amazing (wish I remembered his name... cute 30 year old). The raw bar oysters were awesome. The Rockefeller, a little lacking of excitement. I definitely will come back to try entrees!

They were able to accommodate our early arrival. Service was quick, friendly and knowledgeable about not just their menu, but also the food. Fresh oysters were fresh and reasonably priced. Seafood gumbo was delicious and generous with the shellfish. The flatbread (?) was too greasy but the cornbread was superior. Volume of noise was turned up as more customers filed in, especially at the front of the restaurant that staged the bar. They also offer a small discount if you pay cash.

First time in DC, my boyfriend and I shared 12 cold oysters( min 6 and they offered oysters from VA NB WA MA ME)received complimentary bread in between oysters and main course. I ordered shrimp and grits and boyfriend ordered seafood jumbo. We went on a Wednesdays which is wine down Wednesday - half off a bottle of wine,ordered Pino Grigsh that paired nicely with everything! Had a wonderful delicious experience! Would 100% return, wait staff was amazing, informative and kind.

We've been to Pearl Dive before and really liked it. Last night the food was okay at best, and the portions were small. We ordered the grilled peach and burrata salad and there were almost no peaches. The fried oyster platter had very few, small oysters. The drinks were watery. We will think twice before returning.

I love pearl dive for the food and atmosphere! When I went for dinner recently it was louder and more crowded on a Monday night than I expected, but the service was still impeccable and the food delicious!

This was our first time coming here and it was such a great experience. Right when we walked in the door, it felt like home and host, Elliott made that possible. Very personable, funny and helpful! Our server, Roxy was awesome! We will be asking for her when we come from now on. She was informative, have ideas, always had a big smile and made our anniversary very special. If you plan on stopping in, you won’t regret it. The food, the drinks and ambiance is a great time! Can’t wait to go back!
