Seafood

With an ambience steeped in rustic charm and a menu filled with treasures from the sea, Pearl Dive Oyster Palace focuses on fresh produce and quality ingredients in its welcoming eatery. Specializing in a wide variety of oysters, from such places as Virginia, Japan, Rhode Island, British Columbia and Washington state, Peal Dive Oyster Palace takes oyster preparation seriously, complementing the delicate taste of the oyster. Appetizer options include crispy crawfish fritters, barbecue shrimp and wood-grilled oysters. Besides oysters, house specialties have a decidedly Cajun flair, with items such as seafood gumbo, crawfish etouffee and Gulf Coast Redfish, all of which have an amazing balance of spices.

The rich entrées at Pearl Dive Oyster Bar are further replicated in its dessert menu, with winning options like Beignets and Brazos River Bottom Pecan Pie.

Oysters were great, wood fired appetizer. Both of our main courses needed a touch of salt or a sauce to compliment the protein, but drinks were very good, service was attentive. Very good smoke flavor in their seafood, which I really enjoy and is hard to find. Not the biggest restaurant, so careful on the size party you bring

I have been to PD for lunch and happy hour and always enjoyed it; however, brunch is another main event here. We had a fantastic brunch with bottomless mimosas, spicy bloody marys and southern seafood. Everyone cleaned their plate and had great things to say about the meal. We will definitely be back.

Everything was great! Great ambiance for Fat Tuesday! Jambalaya was delicious and so was the lemon cheesecake trifle😍😍. I think the most memorable was the service provided by our server Nick. Attentive, helpful, and pleasant. Made for a great experience! I'll be back!

Really cool spot and a great scene! Our service was great, very attentive and food came out consistently and hot! Had Lobster Rangoons were awesome! Oysters were good but some were so small I'm not sure you should be charging $2.80 for them! Fish tacos were really, really good! Overall a fun spot with good food!

Great food, if you like seafood and New Orleans style cuisine. Great corn muffins and rolls. Great drink selection. Informal welcoming environment, with excellent service and top notch quality ingredients. One of my favorite downtown restaurants. Great value for the price.

This is a great place for cocktails and appetizers. Drinks were well made and the hot oyster plates were tasty. However, the entrees were lacking in substance. The seafood gumbo and crawfish etouffee were prepared with the same roux, which was well prepared, but the amount of seafood in either of them was not more than a handful.

Food was excellent. Tables are packed a little close, so wait staff have to suck in their stomachs to get through. I wasn't sitting on the aisle, so didn't affect me, but interesting to see staff contort themselves to get through. Waitress forgot to bring coffee. Not a big deal, she was excellent otherwise.

This was our first time to Pearl Dive and it won’t be our last. We loved it from start to finish. The restaurant is definitely casual, and the patrons about as mixed as you can get (a good thing). Service was insanely good - the best I’ve had in years.

We had shrimp, oysters (of course), swordfish, and the catch of the day. All of them were perfectly prepared, spicy in the right ways, and delicious. We go to a lot of seafood restaurants, and this is now our favorite. We drive in from NoVa, and will surely return soon!

The food here is always excellent. Fresh oysters from all over the continent. I had the scallops, cooked to perfection, my date had the redfish, served with a delicious spicy rice. They nail a cocktail here too, sazeracs and martinis went down nicely with the food. We've been served by David a few times now, he is the best! Enthusiastic, attentive, makes good recommendations. We've made a habit of coming back every few weeks.

Only minor qualm is the tables. The tables for two are quite snug which means sometimes you run into a customer with pointy elbows or bad volume control. Get a booth if you can!

I was quickly seated upon arrival, staff were friendly and my server was knowledgeable of the different oyster choices. Excellent options for raw or cooked oysters as well as brunch food. My only minute issue is the beignets aren't truly beignets, they are delicious donut holes at best but still very enjoyable.
