Pearl Dive Oyster Palace
With an ambience steeped in rustic charm and a menu filled with treasures from the sea, Pearl Dive Oyster Palace focuses on fresh produce and quality ingredients in its welcoming eatery. Specializing in a wide variety of oysters, from such places as Virginia, Japan, Rhode Island, British Columbia and Washington state, Peal Dive Oyster Palace takes oyster preparation seriously, complementing the delicate taste of the oyster. Appetizer options include crispy crawfish fritters, barbecue shrimp and wood-grilled oysters. Besides oysters, house specialties have a decidedly Cajun flair, with items such as seafood gumbo, crawfish etouffee and Gulf Coast Redfish, all of which have an amazing balance of spices.
The rich entrées at Pearl Dive Oyster Bar are further replicated in its dessert menu, with winning options like Beignets and Brazos River Bottom Pecan Pie.

Love this place!
My angels on horseback oysters were scrumptious and the Chesapeake oysters reminded me of ones my mother used to make. Also, my creole bloody mary was nicely spiced and full of surprises. Our waiter, David, was attentive and charming.
Amazing food, fun and friendly staff. Yummy slice of cake for my bday. Great time!
Pearl Dive Oyster Palace has been a favorite restaurant since it opened! The food is amazing (especially the burger). Space is a little tight but well worth a visit! The service was very friendly and we did not feel rushed at all.
We enjoyed everything we ate (oysters, grilled octopus, fresh fish, fried chicken) and our server was excellent.
Our server was amazing!
Love this place! Oysters and service are spectacular. Will definitely be back
We got a small table close to a couple that was speaking very loud. The acoustic of the room was not good. Too much noise. Nice decor. Waiter was ok. Food was so so.oysters were ok. The rest of food was not great. Pretty mediocre. I don’t think I am going back I some time.
Flavors are spot on, but the portion sizes are small for the price. I ordered the duck and oyster gumbo which sadly came out as mostly rice and not enough gumbo for the price tag. Husband ordered the oyster po’boy and was also underwhelmed with the small size
Had an excellent dinner. Huge selection of Oysters by sorted by brine. Hot entrees and main courses were excellent. Me and my group enjoyed the atmosphere and food.
Great food, personable staff, and a casual welcoming environment
Wonderful service, amazing food. Would highly recommend.
This is my boyfriend and myself’s favorite restaurant for our date nights. Great food, great drinks. Great prices! Thank you for another great dinner.
Service and food are outstanding! Fun ambiance but too loud and crowded for me, we were there a Thursday night. Definitely a happening place... bar ares available.
Great food, good prices 1/2 off wine but Dave the waiter made the experience...great enthusiasm but let us enjoy our meal. Oysters were great.
Oysters, drinks and the main courses were great. The beer list was deep and the martini on the front end of dinner was perfect.
My far my favorite restaurant in DC, was there for 4 days this month and ate there every single day.
Great food! Except when the restaurant is not full, please don’t seat us right next to another couple (on top of them) when there are many other tables open.
Waitress was great!
Service and food was outstanding! We cannot wait to go back!
Great meal, service and overall dining experience.
Food is delicious and filling. We were full off of the appetizers. They were so good. Wonderful place to eat where date night or a group of friends.
Josh was a wonderful server. We will be back.
Very well shucked oysters, and delicious entrees...but $24 for two fish tacos was excessive.
Pear Dive was fantastic! Our waiter, David, was superb. He helped us pick out oysters and main dishes. He knew his menu inside and out - had tasted everything on it and had great advice. The oysters were YUM - about 10 different varieties to select from and you could get multiple kinds in a single serving. The entre's were divine. Hubby had the fried catfish sandwich and I had the Paella. Both were delicious. the atmosphere was casual but very cool. Great neighborhood place. The valet parking was an added bonus since parking in the neighborhood is difficult. If you have not been - GO NOW! We'll be back.
We had to move tables twice because of noise level and comfort—but the staff was exceedingly accommodating. They were wonderful and the food was delicious!
When we first walked in, we weren't sure, but as the food came out, we knew we had another great hit! The raw oysters started out the meal being right on point. The Branzino was cooked perfectly and was amazing. What a great find! We will be back!
Pearl Dive is consistently amazing for oysters and for the rest of the menu. I'd recommend even if you don't eat oysters. The servers really know their stuff - what goes into the food, what different oysters are like, etc. Pro-tip: The fish special of the day is always a good bet.
Fun place when oysters are half price!! I had a nice time and the oysters were really good.
Great food and excellent service. We have to give a shout out to David, who always takes amazing care of us and is on top on things! He make our regular visits a pleasure.
Really enjoyed Brunch. Great food, cocktails, and David’s service. He detailed the daily lineup and offered great suggestions. We will be regulars for sure!
It’s almost as good as the restaurants in New Orleans! The food is that good!
Food was tasty, but a bit too salty overall. Restaurant was hot and not comfortable as a result. When asked about the air conditioning in the restaurant, the waitress explained that it is a problem on hot days. I was surprised that this sort of issue would not be swiftly corrected by management.
Good job and tasty as always.
Very noisy but the food offsets it! Service is good too
Fantastic! Even considered going back the next night. If you are a seafood lover in DC I highly recommend you give it a try.
Food and service were excellent. We ordered two dozen oysters, appetizers , and drinks, and were very satisfied. Our server was helpful, friendly, and efficient. I look forward to my next visit!
The entire evening was amazing from beginning to end. Brooke, our waitress, was very helpful and attentive. Each dish was delicious. The oysters were delectable! And Abdual made our evening even better! The apple pie was delicious! Will be back!
went there for brunch. the food was average to below average. however, the service was very good!
My fiancé and I happened across Pearl Dive for brunch when we visited DC about four years ago. We fell in love with the ambiance, the delicious oysters, the Pontchartrain, and the cinnamon roll. We touted this meal at Pearl Drive to all of our family and friends over the course of four years and we promised ourselves that the next time we were in DC we’d come back to Pearl Dive and that’s exactly what we did - everything was just as delicious as we remembered it. I recommend Pearl Dive for brunch for ANYBODY in DC.
The food was quite good. We enjoyed the oyster. A great place for lunch before our play at Studio Theater.
