   We were there for New Year's Eve. It was a special event and The Pearl made it perfect. We'll book again in the near future. I love the lighting and the fireplace. I go there for the mood and the food.

   My boyfriend and I went to Pearl Cafe for New Year's dinner and it was perfect for a special occasion. We wanted a place that was nicer than the usual burger and steakhouses we go to, but wouldn't break the bank. Being from out of town, I browsed online to find a suitable restaurant and made reservations for Pearl Cafe based on the wonderful reviews. It did not disappoint! We ordered escargot as an appetizer. It was very good. My boyfriend's steak was cooked a perfect medium rare and so delicious! He said it was the best steak he's had in years. I ordered the duck and it was also fantastic. The service was very professional, knowledgeable, and attentive. We never had an empty glass. They have a lengthy wine list and a nice variety of entrees, though not too many as to overwhelm. The lighting was quite dim, but suited us just fine as a couple. I could imagine my grandparents having trouble reading the menu in such low light, though. I also wouldn't recommend this restaurant for families with small children. Overall, we were very pleased with our experience at the Pearl Cafe and I would recommend it to any couple for a nice dinner date!

   Pearl Café ALWAYs delivers. We have never had a bad meal, or bad service, which seems to be the white whale of Missoula restaurants. Here I am watching Practical Magic with my wife and I remember our anniversary dinner the other night was so special. The steaks are better than any other restaurant in Missoula. They are incomparable. The wine list is a true treat, and basically lays out deliciousness the same way Mount Sentinel and Pattee Canyon mountains silhouette sensually in the morning light. I digress. And I think about going back. It is, and will be, ALL GOOD.

   This is always our restaurant of choice for a romantic and special occasion dinning experience. The waitress was not pleasant and service by her slow. This is not the usual case at the Pearl so I will just assume she was having a bad night. Do not hold this against the Pearl. All others were very pleasant.

   Neighborhood gem on the quiet end of Front Street. Service is excellent...same wait staff has been there forever. Food is creative and nicely presented. Excellent wine list. Pricing screens the patrons, so no baseball cap wearing, mouth breathing gum chewers to be seen (this is a college town, after all).

   It is so nice to have such a high quality restaurant here, and one that is capable of The Grand Gesture, which we experienced on Friday night. We left with a great feeling. Thank you, Pearl and staff.

   The Pearl has to be one of the top restaurants in Missoula. The service was outstanding and the food was wonderful. We will be going back again.

   We are consistently impressed by the delicious entrees, excellent service, splendid atmosphere, and overall wonderful experience. Thanks for another fantastic evening!
